In 2018 I flew my last pack when I lost three family members. Now my son found my old stash and got hooked and I had to jump back in. I had to come back some day and yes, I think now is the perfect time. Thank you for STILL being here supporting this amazing hobby
Been away from FPV for about 8 months now, and boy do i miss it so much. FPV was my therapy post overworking and burnout in the past and now being away from it, i realize just how much i miss it. Thanks, am looking forward to be back in the game again.
I'm 13 years old and i would love to start FPV but everything is very expensive. this kit is probably what I will buy after about a year of saving I love to learn and I very much appreciate this review.
CA94C-45X0N-AD85W I know you didnt ask for a sim key but here you go mate. my pleasure and thanks for watching. reddem it on steam and if you missed it let me know.
I have been preparing for the purchase of my first drone and equipment for a long time, but during this time I watched a lot of videos and tutorials. The hardest thing for me to decide is which digital system to choose. Range and image quality are important to me, but at the same time, I would not like to be limited in upgrades, as with DJI.
ohh... been a subscriber since Hubsan X4 video loooong back, but sheesh, pulled the trigger today and ordered pocket to start my journey. Thanks for the years of motivation and entertainment. Cheers!!!
7/21/2024 9:55am, I have been putting off FPV for too long this setup seems perfect and affordable. A sim is perfect for getting practice! Thank you for taking the time to put this together
I have two sets of DJI FPV Goggles v2 and all my drones are DJI, but if i were first getting into the hobby, I'd most definitely go digital via those Walksnail goggles. Not asking for a code, I'm a proficient pilot and have all the sims already. Definitely play a sim though and save yourself a bunch of money if you're starting out, purely because of all the real life crashes you won't have.
been thinking about fpv for a long time, think ive found THE MAN to listen to. very informative and entertaining. need to get into the sim while i wait for stuff to arrive
I might be a bit late to this video, (2 months) but right now I have a Parrot Bebop 2 and I have been thinking about moving into freestyle fpv because Parrot discontinued all of the software for the bebop. This guide is unlike any other, and has some of the best information I have seen!
Welcome to the hobby mate. its really easy to get into fpv and you dont have to worry about being locked out or updating because no company has complete control etc
your video on the goggles and now this new video is what is going to make me start flying fpv now. been following for years and feel like with this new wave of affordable digital its like a no brainer to get on FPV
Been flying a dji for about 4+ years and never flew FPV and seeing this video is really tempting to buy an FPV kit thank you for letting me explore more in the flying world and god bless
I think this is finally the KEY for me to get into this! I cant understate how much the digital FPV Goggles make a difference, I've always liked the idea but thought its such a shame the clarity for the pilot was so awful. I'd love a key and thank you for continuing to make a difference for people like me out here!
I am trying to get into fpv and I am a complete beginner. I love your videos and content, you have completely convinced me to try it out, I am trying to get a radio first to practice on a sim and you have swayed me towards the Radiomaster pocket also.
I love the vid... and I'm going to use this as my entry into flying VR. However when I go to buy the Mob 8 hd, I cannot find it cheaper than $570. Does this sound right? I'm a newby.
I am a 16 year old whos saved up enough money to finally purchase a FPV drone and after a bit of research I decided to go with the Mobula 8 as well. Thank you for the help and if you have any keys left I would be very grateful 🙂
I have been flying DJI mini4k but it’s not really that fun because I’m scared to go into tight spaces and get close to objects. This is why I’m looking to get into FPV this has been a really useful video thanks. Also what are the best sims you can get ?
I'm currently 15 years old, I've been interested in this hobby for more than a year now yet I still can't get in the air. Man, the goggles alone will take me a month to save up. I really enjoy watching videos like this because it kind of gives me a sliver of hope that one day I'll get started in flying. Keep up the nice videos! Thank you for the content. Can you give me some cheaper alternatives for like this? This is great and all but dude was I broke as hell haha. That's all, thankyou so much!
I'm currently working in a field that is somewhat exciting for me but drone flying and FPV in general is what really gets me excited. This video is exactly what I've been looking for and hopefully soon, I'll have this exact kit. Thank you for your help and passion!
I've been watching FPV content wistfully for years now! I finally have a part-time job while I study and this looks honestly like the perfect kit to get started!
I was just about to buy a very lightly used, probably never used DJI fpv. But now the DJI does not support it, and the DJI ban is imposing soon, I'm looking for another brand. Perfect time to see a video like this!
I was introduced to FPV very recently and I am serious about getting started with FPV. I already bought my first Radiomaster Pocket and I'm hoping to learn the ropes soon!
Hands down the most helpful video I’ve seen since looking into getting into the FPV hobby! Based on the little research I have done myself over the past month, I agree 💯 with everything you’ve stated and can’t wait to make the leap!
ive just got out my first real quad back out. its a dji flamewheel 450 naza m lite with gps and just updated My Taranis x9d plus to opentx 2.3.15. Wow has stuff changed! Ive spend a couple of hours a night getting up to speed and I got it back in the air, still testing and taking it slow. Thanks for your videos and reviews, I didint know it was that afordable to go fpv. 10 years ago it was just too much at that time in my life. Im also watching your past and current videos too.
Thanks for everything. I have been flying a Mini Pro 3 I got for a gift. Having a blast with it but after seeing this I am heading in a new direction, these little FPVs.
I'd love to get into FPV. My son LOVES drones. We are slowely ordering parts and the plan is to assemble the drone ourselves. Currently I'm looking into budget googles and radios, that's how I found your channel, which is a ton of help! Thanks mate, keep up the good work! :)
I just wanted to reach out and thank you for posting these videos. My son has always been interested in aviation, computers and gaming. He is now into drones. I came across your channel, at work, and I have learned so much. Not only did you get me into drones but we are now 3d printing fpv drones like the reaper, super stingray / vtol, flying wing.....just to name a few. So Thank You for taking time to create these videos and sharing your experience and knowledge. -Ron-
Hey I don't want a steam key as much as I want to thank you for getting these codes out for starting pilots. Simulators are the best for trying to fly without breaking stuff. You can crash as MANY times you can imagine and it's not a problem.
I just want to back you up on the drone/radio. I got back into FPV flying last year - without seeing this video I got a pocket (I have tiny hands, so had been wanting to replace my Flysky I6 for a long time) - and I looked at the options, and the Mobby 8 as a tiny 2S with protected props has been great for ripping around rocky cliffs around Newy. I didn't want to replace my old analog monitor or goggles though, so I'm still doing things retro. Plus flying outdoors through goggles doesn't seem legal in NSW :( But I'm having a blast, I can rip in the backyard without the people inside hearing, and I can go for a hike with the kit to find unpopulated open areas for some fun outdoor flying.
Stuart I want to fly. I just ordered an ELRS Radiomaster Pocket. I'm going to practice on a sim before I get the goggles and Mobula 8. Thanks again for your videos.
That's fantastic! I've wanted to strat since 2018, and im happy to see that the technology and costs have finally reached a point where they're more accessible. I really appreciate you keeping us informed and up-to-date along the way.
Been flying with a monitor for about 7years. Finally thinking of getting some goggles but also don’t wna brake the bank. Also been trying to get some friends into the hobby and this the best drone kit video I’ve seen. Others recommend kits that eventually you would want to upgrade. But this kit has a great drone. Great transmitter. And what looks like to be great goggles. Great video
I have been on the fence about a drone hobby but have never been moved to pull the trigger. Don't know where to start so this video was an amazing help!
Buddy I finally found ur video AGAIN I was looking for it I am more than remotely interested I have few questions plz I need ur answer... Am a professional Drone pilot just not fpv Should I buy the controller immediately and start practicing using a flight simulator?? Will it work? Once am confident to fly it is this drone good enough for professional Drone Services since I am a drone service provider and pilot, I'll need to fly it indoors and outdoors Thanks I won't bother u with more questions for now...
I dont need a code, but honestly, never seen some one done more to FPV community than u. I will follow your channel. I just ordered a Walksnail Google X, Mobula Walksnail and Radiomaster Boxer ELRS. And good Charger, I hope I will get good in to this hobby
Thank you very much for this. I wanted to start fpv for a long time and always found in to intimidating. I think i will go for this exact setup and would love to train first with a simulator if you still have a KEY.
I’ve been interested in fpv for a long time and now I’m finally slowly starting to dive in and doing my research because it is not as direct as i thought. I hope I could catch one of those codes because it would really help me
if you havent decided by now... the elrs version will be better from what i'm reading. but the built in elrs only outputs up to 250mW i think, so you could get an external module that can output like 500mW. I dont remember exactly how much an external one can output, but itll give you better range
Honestly Stuart ur the man! Lol not being a kiss a$$ lol it just hit the part where u mentioned the code...I'm currently helping a friend get into fpv (recommending your channel as a source of info) and it's things like that that brings me back to the feeling of why I got into fpv and how you helped me personally transition into the hobby and just wanted to thank you for still providing that to keep hooking people with this crazy addiction lmao KEEP EM COMING!
Thanks for your help with this! I’ve been way too paranoid to get into FPV for fear of crashing and wasting my money. Great to know there’s a more budget friendly option. Also, I’m glad to support a fellow ozzy, keep up the fantastic work!
kewl products, kewl descriptions... i'm a newbie pilot. only few weeks experience . After my first flight, i knew i had reached a pivotal point of my life!
I’m super interested in learning how to pilot a fpv drone. Great video for a beginner. I’m pretty nervous about learning to fly without breaking the drone though.
I have been wanting to get into fpv for a while now. I am looking at getting the avata ultimately, but I defiantly need to hone my skills and make sure I don't get motion sickness too bad. So I was looking for a cheap way to get into it. I think this is it! I like the fact that it is very small, so it is not intimidating to non drone people and can't do the damage that the avata might do. And I can practice indoors in the harsh Ohio winters. Thanks for sharing
Hi mate! I've been looking into fpv for a long while now. I'm almost ready to take the plunge! Just ordered my radiomaster pocket but need some sim recommendations? Very serious about this!
I totally agree, already have a Mobula 8, Radiomaster Pocket. Just need to upgrade Goggles, to probably to either Goggles X or your recomendation, Goggle L
I want to give it a go. Can you recommend any Australian suppliers, especially for batteries. The delivery charges from Americain suppliers often make it uneconomic.
For 5 months, I have been practicing on a simulator on my smartphone with a gamepad, the joystick wear out. I am planning to buy radiomaster pocket, but currently don't have money.
I did not follow the progress of FPV in the last 5-10 years and still occasionnally fly my analog 5" or Tinywhoop.. but this recent evolution towards reliable digital HD is really appealling. I think I will get this kit and have a lot of fun.
A good SIM will be great to me. Here, where I live, the import taxes are outrageous. See this new digital goggles spark me for star flying FPV. I already buy the Pocket radio.
As a noob I would recommend getting an all in one kit to start. See if it's something you want to stick to. You'll have the radio to use for simulators and can then practice with the quad that comes with the kit. I got a Radiomaster Zorro and the instructions were pretty non-existent. Looked them up online and found it confusing as hell. Finally found a great Zorro step by step video from Captain Drone but still could never get it to bind to the Tinyhawk III i was using. That was super frustrating. Now I'm just sticking with all in one kits till i transition to more expensive quads if i feel I'll stick with this hobby. Yeah the most daunting part of all this wasn't so much learning to fly acro. I got that down. It's the radio programming that hurts my head.
First of all, thank you for this video. I normally play videos 2x faster because I think I am a bit impatient, however I was happy when I checked the speed of your video and it was at normal speed. Video was amazing. I am planning to dive into these realms for along time but I was afraid because I may be too old for these (43) and maybe I don’t have the talent. I was looking for a sign I guess. And I think guess and hope this video was the sign that I was looking for. Again, thanks for the video. Keep up the good work.
Just last week I purchased a Walmart drone and liked it not a fpv but been years since I’ve been wanting one and finally got it since it was cheap I didn’t know the difference between that drone and the fpv but watching videos on it I wanna jump into it and been looking around for a small cheap kit for fpv freestyle Any recommendations I’m really stuck trying to learn all of this new things Going to be my new hobby since I’m injured from work so stay at home dad thanks
great a kit that won't break the bank myself whose a noob was finding a hard time piecing together a kit that wasn't too expensive it became overwhelming thank you for this video i will be getting this kit!!!
You need a drone with DJI o3 digital transmission sysstem to pair with your controller and goggles Usually companies have the same quads with different transmission systems.
I'm seriously interested in fpv and I am seriously considering it because it pairs perfectly with another one of my hobbies mountain biking because you can put it all in a backpack ride up a mountain and then you're in the perfect spot to record some footage, I'm still saving up for a drone, but it looks so cool
I live in europe so fpv stuff is really expensive here but I already ordered the radiomaster pocket. I'm really excited to learn how to fly on a simulator!
I'm moving away from a tinyhawk3 rtf set that I've had several years now, and this is exactly the set of kit I'm looking at :D the pocket came in yesterday, setting it up for the th3 now, the rest I will wait for black Friday, fingers crossed, eu so prices are a bit higher, and it won't be till next summer for flight weather... :)
Glad to see your channel back up and running well. Got a wizard x220 back in 2018 after watching your kids fast forward 6 years moved to NZ and race in Christchurch. Thanks for convincing me to empty my wallet bro
I'm currently non-fpv flying, yet I'm currently looking around market for FPV wether it be made kit, or done stuff like this or even Avata 2... the only thing is I want to keep it either in sub 250g or C0-C1 weight
You know what? I have decided this is it. This is the video I needed to get into FPV. I have been waiting for the right time to get into this hobby and as I am watching this video, it seems like the time has come. I am going to purchase everything you have mentioned in this video. I have been flying liftoff for about 6 months now and I'm finally going to do it. Will probably update in the next month or so.
NEW CODES lets get FPV to as many as we can guys. thanks for the likes.

Ok maybe Im an idiot, but I used a steam code and it gave me a license for FPV AIR 2, but that game is no longer available on steam 🤷♂️

I’ve been interested in fpv for a long time and now I’m finally slowly starting to dive in and doing my research because it is not as direct as i thought. I hope I could catch one of those codes because it would really help me
You convinced me man, I wanna do the simulator and buy this
The radio he suggests has two different options for frequency… which should I choose
if you havent decided by now... the elrs version will be better from what i'm reading. but the built in elrs only outputs up to 250mW i think, so you could get an external module that can output like 500mW. I dont remember exactly how much an external one can output, but itll give you better range
I’m thinking about starting FPV. I’ve seen videos of the experience, and I’m finally going to start
Looks like the way to go. Will be giving it a go based on your recommendation.
Honestly Stuart ur the man! Lol not being a kiss a$$ lol it just hit the part where u mentioned the code...I'm currently helping a friend get into fpv (recommending your channel as a source of info) and it's things like that that brings me back to the feeling of why I got into fpv and how you helped me personally transition into the hobby and just wanted to thank you for still providing that to keep hooking people with this crazy addiction lmao KEEP EM COMING!
just getting into it thanks for making it simple I appreciate it
Thanks for your help with this! I’ve been way too paranoid to get into FPV for fear of crashing and wasting my money. Great to know there’s a more budget friendly option. Also, I’m glad to support a fellow ozzy, keep up the fantastic work!
Thanks man my oldest son has been super interested and your channel has been a great help Thanks
kewl products, kewl descriptions... i'm a newbie pilot. only few weeks experience .
I would love start FPV. I Been watching you since the first $99 FPV drone build, I was seriously considering it but I couldn't justify it yet
I would love to get into fpv so far i have only flown line of sight . Thanks for the info. Extremely helpful for a newbie.
Been on looking into getting into FPV for a few weeks. Great video, just gave me the push I needed to buy my first set up. Would love a Sim key code.
I am watching from Germany - and what will I say? I am very impressed and its the first time to hear about this, away from dji and co...
G'day! literally check the channel for the first time in years and come across this jewel.
This has sold me on flying more seriously. Thanks!!
Great kit. Had my whoops for 3 years now and still fly great. I added hdzero to one and walksnail to the other. Best starter kit around!
This is perfect bro. for a very long time, I been searching for an affordable drone for me . This is perfect. Thanks
Thanks for this info. I want to get into drone flying for the first time after watching this.
I fly collective helicopter but so want to try fpv. This kit seems like a good option
Thank you. I am considering getting my children and i into this as a hobby. This seems perfect.
I have been enjoying your content! I’m brand new to this hobby and this is exactly what I was looking for to start out!
Been thinking of getting into FPV but was leaning toward analog .. this might just sway me towards digital!!
Just last week I purchased a Walmart drone and liked it not a fpv but been years since I’ve been wanting one and finally got it since it was cheap
I didn’t know the difference between that drone and the fpv but watching videos on it I wanna jump into it and been looking around for a small cheap kit for fpv freestyle
Any recommendations I’m really stuck trying to learn all of this new things
Going to be my new hobby since I’m injured from work so stay at home dad thanks
This video got me hooked. You did a really good job at explaining. This is the one hobby i never knew i needeed to try. Keep up the good work
Honestly after seeing this, I want to start FPV. A simulator would be perfect practice
Never used them before but want to start. First video learning about them.
great a kit that won't break the bank myself whose a noob was finding a hard time piecing together a kit that wasn't too expensive it became overwhelming thank you for this video i will be getting this kit!!!
Recommendations for a small drone that i can pair with my DJI FPV goggles and controller? Does the sim pair with these particular controllers?
You need a drone with DJI o3 digital transmission sysstem to pair with your controller and goggles
Usually companies have the same quads with different transmission systems.
I'm seriously interested in fpv and I am seriously considering it because it pairs perfectly with another one of my hobbies mountain biking because you can put it all in a backpack ride up a mountain and then you're in the perfect spot to record some footage, I'm still saving up for a drone, but it looks so cool
I'm in NZ. Was super keen to get into it and bought a frsky radio. Sold it though. This looks awesome mate.
You won me over with the Magnum PI. Shirt. I'm in!
I'm just getting into the hobby, but your video is Extremely helpful and informative! Thank You!!
