Wranglerstar .... I kniw amazon helps pay your bills. But alot of your viewers are smart enough not to support them can you please give us a different option to buy things you review and recommend? That way we can support you too... I will never buy 1 single thing from amazon.

Derek Bedford: I agree with you. I highly value Cody's suggestions and preferences but I'm starting to phase Amazon out as a source. There are many reasons but one of them is that I simply don't want to support some of the things they support. It was a hard decision to make because I like to support Cody however I can.

Definitely better than I was expecting. I personally would invest a little more money if there was a chance of needing to survive in the wild, but still for the price it was actually pretty useful. I think the best use would to keep one in everyone's pockets incase you somehow got separated from your stuff one way or another.

The lid of the can! You forgot that! Wrap it around the candle for a windshield. Use it to cut things. Apply the signaling material to that (even if it isn't self adhesive, just take a piece of the duct tape & fold it on itself to make it double sided. You can then take the pop-top ring, with a piece of the thread & hang it on a branch, let the wind do it's job. Heck, you can take the ring & use it to hang several things off of a single mount point. You can use the lid folded and turn it into a funnel. And you can even put it back on the can to contain contents with the duct tape.

    • @gligo7586

One thing they could add would be something to make fish actually bite...either a bit of pork rind as bait, or some kind of lure. Could still be tiny. Also, instead of that shiny sticker, a plastic mirror with a hole in the middle wouldn't cost much and would be much more useful.

Those matches are strike anywhere matches. The dipping in wax makes them harder to light however, as the wax acts as a lubricant and reduces the friction. Take the wax off the white tip with a fingernail and try striking by keeping the tip at a 90 degree angle to the rough striking surface (try using a rock without so many pits, sandstone works well)

A small water purifier would help you to clean containment water even drink your own urine and the chances are good i will have at least a pistol with some clips on me and some string and a lighter and some kind of knife and this is because some people have a issue with me bringing shotguns and assault rifles into a store or restaurant , banks or to work and is not something i normal tell them when working or going to the store.

And fish hooks are cheap and a little quality. If you want safety pins you can get like a bunch of em for less than 30cents quality ones but low quality one for 10cents.
