A recipe I didn't know I needed, thanks!
I usually don't care much about calories, but focus on healthy or non-processed ingredients, and your recipe fulfills this for me. 😁
I'm with you on that one! I definitely try to focus on nutritious, natural, whole foods as much as I can as an alternative to heavily processed store-bought foods that often have unwanted additives in them. Although I can understand those who have calories as a focus as well if their goal is weight management. Thanks so much for watching!

Hello! I recently make soursop icecream using the same procedure by freezing the soursop. I added dried raisins & prunes. Next time i aware i could use cinnamon and vanilla extract too.😊🇯🇲
Interesting! I've never tried it with soursop before - that's such a great idea, I'll have to see if I can give it a try sometime! Thanks so much for sharing and for watching!

Our fams favourite! frozen bananas ( which I usually have loads over ripe ones in the freezer) pure cocoa powder and plain/ Greek yoghurt, I sometimes throw in some mixed nuts/ home made peanut butter/ store brought (depends on what we can get - not fussy on that part) raisins/ dates for sweetness…
Amazing! That sounds delicious - frozen bananas are such a game changer to have around in the freezer 😀 thanks so much for watching!

I don’t like bananas, but thought of kiwis or avocados 😊that will give the consistency that bananas give……since I’m on keto 😅 I’ll try avocado!
I have heard of others using avocados in their recipe instead of bananas, but haven't tried it myself! I'd love to hear how it turns out for you! And thanks for watching 🙂
There are even recipes for ice cream made of cauliflower! People swear it's delicious, but I tried and didn't like it so I guess everyone has to try themselves

Thank you for this delicious ice cream recipe. Can we add Greek yoghurt to it? Could you please share a Greek yoghurt cheesecake recipe
Thanks for watching! Yes you can certainly add Greek yogurt to it if you'd like to give it an even creamier texture. And thanks for the suggestion - I love cheesecake and can definitely look into that for a future video!
I will be trying🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks so much for watching! I hope you enjoy giving them a try!
Looks delicious
Thanks so much for watching!
Awesome Nice cream recipes! I'd recommend trying date syrup, as it's even healthier than maple syrup!
Thanks for the tip! And thanks so much for watching!
Hi from sunny Cyprus, they look sooooo delicious, guess what I'll be making today 😊
Hello to you! Thanks so much for watching - hope you enjoy giving them a try! Would love to hear how they turn out for you! 😀
As I have a family history of Cancer I need to avoid the estrogen and BLV in dairy so this is brilliant. Thank you!!!

These look good

Hi! What can be used instead of bananas? I ❤ them but am allergic🥲. Luv your recipes-thank you so much for sharing!
Hi there! Great question - as a substitute, you may want to try using ripe avocados (with lemon juice to prevent it from browning) instead of bananas. They offer a similar creamy texture that works great for ice cream. You may have given me an idea for a future video! Thanks for watching and I hope that helps!
Guess what.. allergic to avos too. Fun fact: People w/ latex allergies also sometimes are allergic to bananas and avos too. 😊 just FYI
Great video
Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
😋 yummy
Thanks for watching!
I've loved making ice cream for years and every now and then I do a banana base when I want to cut down on the junk. But I think I have some sort of special sensitivity to banana flavor because I always hear about how neutral it is so you can add any other flavor to it to mask it, and for me personally I can always taste the banana at least a bit. It always tastes like banana with other things added haha. Same goes for anything else that similarly uses bananas for a base; I've had and baked cakes, breads, etc. that way and it always ends up tasting like banana to me. I like bananas so it's not a big turn off, but I'd love it if I could really taste it minimally enough to consider it a true substitute.
I always find it fascinating how everyone has such different palettes and we all taste things so differently. But I think that's the beauty of food, and home cooking - we can all make things that suit our own unique and individual tastes and sensitivities 😀 Thanks for watching and for the comment!
@@toastyapron Agreed, it's always interesting how diverse people's palettes are. This was my first time coming across one of your videos, but I checked out some of your other videos and subscribed. Keep up the good work, looking forward to more!
Thank you for sharing !! We are freezing some banana today. What is the blender you are using
Thanks so much for watching! Hope you enjoy giving these a try. I've listed the two blenders that I use in the video description box - one is a Vitamix and the other is a Nutribullet. Feel free to check them out there if you'd like!
Yaaay my fav little channel is making videos! I just made your chia seed puding today and it was a winner. Do you have more time to make videos now?
Thank you so much for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed the chia pudding recipe! And yes, I am back to making new content! Unfortunately each video is quite a long process for me to produce, film, and edit - and takes quite a lot of time and effort to ensure they're of the highest quality. But I will try my best to come out with as many more new videos as I can, as long as I know others out there enjoy them and find them helpful! Appreciate your support!
You're doing a GREAT Job!😋@@toastyapron
Lovely recipes..thx😊
Thank you for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed them!
@@toastyapron ❤
Wow, yummy 😋 Is there something else i can use for a ice cream like texture without it being bananas?
Absolutely! You can try using ripe avocados as well for a similar creamy texture (with lemon juice to prevent it from browning). Let me know if you do give it a try!
@@toastyapron I thank God for your help. Have a bless day 💕
These look great but I don't like bananas or avocados. Is there another base option? Thanks!
I’ll bet the tropical one would be great with coconut instead of mango. Then, you would have a piña colada ice cream! 😋
Mmm! That's an awesome idea for sure! Who can resist piña colada ice cream 😀 Thanks for sharing and for watching!
😋🤤
Hi
I just come across your lovely video.
Can Apple be added with banana
I have a Yonanas, 1/2 a frozen banana a handful of berries in tge top, turn on and out comes a swirly creamy, soft serve type frozen treat!
Sounds delicious! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! Thanks for watching!
WONDERFUL YUMMY RECIPES! AND YOU'RE A WONDERFUL CHEF/TEACHER, THE EXPLANATIONS ARE SO DETAILED, CLEAR & COMPLETE.
I WILL ALSO ADD NUT PIECES TO MINE FOR HEALTHY CRUNCH & SPICES LIKE GINGER, CARDAMOM, NUTMEG & A PINCH OF CAYENNE TO THE CHOCOLATE ONE.
THNX A LOT AND MANY BLESSINGS🌠
🌺☮️💟🌺
Thanks so much I appreciate the comment and the support! And those sound like great add-ins - I'd love to hear how they turn out for you! Thanks for watching 😀
Any ideas for those of us allergic to tree nuts & friuts? I can't have either base ingredient.
can you show yogurt abd more sorts with nuts and cookie dough
❤
I make this, I add grass fed pouring cream and it comes out like banana gelato… delish… do it in a food processor but, so much better than a blender.
That's a great tip - thanks for sharing and for watching!
They look delicious but you did not use any condensed milk. How is the texture after freezing? Watery or creamy?
Maple banana is my favorite
Delicious!
I would love to prepare this delicious ice-cream. But I'm diabetic, and cannot eat bananas. Whats the alternative?
My favorites are banana berry and banana chocolate
Two delicious flavours! Thanks for watching!
Can we put honey instead of maple syrup?
How to avoid the changing color of bananas ?
Toasty I've done this recipe twice (the base one) except I did it in an old blender (a moullinex only start on and off blender) and with half of the ingredients and the bananas second time were perfectly yellow and ripe but it turned out as a brownish color and it didn't turn out super smooth like yours. Why is that?
Hi there! Sorry to hear it didn't turn out so well - can you clarify what you mean by the bananas turned out as a brownish colour? At what point did they turn brown? And if it didn't turn out super smooth, how did the texture turn out? Was it very chunky? If so, you may just need a more powerful blender - I imagine it's having a tough time blending the frozen bananas smoothly enough.
My color for the banana icecream has turned a bit ashy. Does it mean it's spolied?
I use homemade zero carb yogurt as a base
Awesome! Thanks for watching!
I hate bananas-both the flavor and the texture. Is there something else I can use as the base? Other than that I think they look delicious!
Hey there! You can try giving avocados a try (with lemon juice to prevent it from browning) - they're just as creamy and will work as well! Hope that helps!
I tried it yesterday with berries and my kids loved it! But my blender was struggling a vit even though it said in the instructions that it crushes ice 😓 today i want to try peanut butter and cocoa option, ringers crossed I don't break it 😢 😢
Good luck! I'm so glad to hear you and your kids enjoyed it!
Ok this would not be entirely guilt free but I'm imagining that tropical version with cream of coconut instead of almond milk 🤭
That's a great call - I love using coconut milk - and it would certainly work great for the tropical flavour! It will add calories but for some it may be worth it :) Thanks for watching!
lmao imagine feeling guilty over milk, over food
clown haha
🎉
Hello frozen berries and yogurt blitz instant ice-cream
No maple syrup in India. Alternatives?
What can be substituted for bananas if you can’t have them?
Hi there! You can try using avocados (with lemon juice to prevent it from browning) - they'll provide a similar creamy texture. Hope that helps!
Would I freeze the avocados like the bananas?
coffee ❤
Great flavour!
Instant of almond milk, can we add cow milk?
Yes you can certainly use cow milk instead! Thanks so much for watching!
@@toastyapron thank you so much for ur reply ❤️
