I paused this video and commented with the first 20 seconds and for good reason. I recently started buying GW along with a few friends after a 20 year gap. It was necromunda that did that. I can't afford 40k even if I had the will to learn it. This is a brilliant setting giving people a gateway into the hobby. My daughter is 6 and we built and painted an escher gang together. They are all the purple haircuts... I gave too much creative control to her but I regret nothing. Back to the studio

Luetin’s 40k videos used to get me through mowing the lawn when I was growing up, and now they get me through my 30-50 minutes of healthy exercise as an adult! Praise to the Loremaster, may his works outlast even the data crystals of Secundus!
Finally!! Some more Necromunda and hive world lore. I definitely want more of this stuff. It's one of the best things in wh40k, for the real day to day, nitty gritty, dirty living, down where humanity is at's it's worst and sunlight is but a myth.
By far the best video of yours I’ve seen. The lower levels of hives, hidden bunkers underneath, underground radioactive oceans…. The big battles and what not are interesting but the deep dive into hives is unbeatable
I always enjoyed seeing the future of Judge Dredd and how Warhammer 40k took the “Megacity” to a whole new level of a Hive City. Corpse Starch, anyone? Keeping waiting for the Skaven to start popping up.

To add to your point I created an in-house RPG campaign based on necromunda with the sole purpose of creating a short story out of the choices and consequences that came out of each battle. The story that came out of it was so accessible and easily captivating to my friends
Them: I like listening to the sound of rain or waves crashing on the shore as I fall asleep. Me: I like listening to the grim darkness of space horror stories.
i love when you do these extra long lore videos. I have a massive playlist of lore vids called 40K Sleep that I listen to every night. they help so much when my anxiety is running wild at night and i cant sleep. You and Oculus honestly help me manage to keep going by letting me get a little comfort at night. Keep up the good work. Also my favorite vids are when you do the narrative ones like Vigilus! Amusingly, I just purchased the Underhive Wars game and have started my playthrough! Plus, since 10th dropped, I have returned to Necromunda (a place I've not been to since 1998) and discovered that it's as amazing as ever. The Aranthian Succession, and now the coolness of Secundus and the Malstrain and I doubt I'll return to big 40K - the opportunity to create multiple unique gangs (like Kill Teams) is easier on the wallet than making big point armies. Great minds think alike Luetin... Also, like you, I say Delaque as Del-ack, and have done since I first heard it back when they were just bald blokes in trenchcoats.
An amazing game… that’s apparently too high quality for my Xbox or something cause it cuts out on occasion for me… atleast it did a while back when It first came out.
I wasn't really interested in Necromunda for most of my time as a 40k fan, but the more I learn about the setting and how deep the lore actually goes, the more I think I have missed out on a lot of fun
Necromunda is so rich and detailed. This video was an enjoyable watch! In a future Necromunda video, I'd be interested in learning more lore about the Palanite and Badland Enforcers. It'd be great to explore how Enforcer activities differ from those of the Arbites.

Me and my P&P group have been having multiple year long games of Dark Heresy on Necromunda, so its always nice to get a refresher on all of the lore since it is spread over so many decades of stories and nooks and crannies
Amazing how much of Necromunda lore was taken from Ian Watson's novel "Space Marine" the novel itself may not be held in high regard by GW and had a bunch of retcons over the years but it set the framework for a huge amount of existing lore today.

@Furzkampfbomber I like the ogryn too. Greenskins of all shapes and sizes have been a favorite of mine since the inception of my fandom. When I learned of the ogryn in the imperial guard I loved how much they reminded me of the ogres in fantasy and the ogors in age of sigmar. Another favorite of mine when I learned of it years later mind you. I JUST LOIKE TO SMASH FINGS WIFF ME MATES CORMISSAH! Darktide spoiled people like me when they added the ogryn as a playable career choice.

What is often missed is the middle class. If only the upper third of a hive is somewhat pleasant, that's still billions of people living in decent conditions. There are white collars workers, gardens, pubs, this kind of things in the hive. Big vacation spots above the clouds with artificial waterfalls on platforms where they go as families and spend their credits, this kind of things.
Find yourself a job in every manner of punishing weather, that tears your muscles while the ever-present threat of injury lurks around every corner demanding your focus. Then, you’ll never be bored at work.
Finally, a 40k lore channel that gets into necromunda. I'm tired of watching all the channels posting the same lore videos. This is why you one the of the best luetin baby.
A hive city management game would be nice. Something similar to Stellaris in scale of the game mechanics but focusing on one city. from managing starch cube production up to importing (or exporting) exotic delicacies and all manner of trouble from gang wars to ork sieges.

Necromunda is also a video game. It's not bad, but I think the best one I've played so far is Darktide, simply because I feel like it does a good job of capturing the feel of the Warhammer universe, as far as art direction is concerned.
@Luetin09 In a previous video, I forget which, you had mentioned the fallout or behaviour forming result of the Age of Strife, was planetary systems becoming more self sustaining due to being cut off from Humanity at large. With that, how do the Hive worlds we know of now, survive through that period, including Necromunda, how was food shipped in en masse, ofc many hiveworlds stareved to death at the time and many hive worlds came into existence after the age of strife. 42:40 Thank you! A hive city management game would be nice. Something similar to Stellaris in scale of the game mechanics but focusing on one city. from managing starch cube production up to importing (or exporting) exotic delicacies and all manner of trouble from gang wars to ork sieges.

Necromunda is also a video game. It's not bad, but I think the best one I've played so far is Darktide, simply because I feel like it does a good job of capturing the feel of the Warhammer universe, as far as art direction is concerned.
@Luetin09 In a previous video, I forget which, you had mentioned the fallout or behaviour forming result of the Age of Strife, was planetary systems becoming more self sustaining due to being cut off from Humanity at large.
With that, how do the Hive worlds we know of now, survive through that period, including Necromunda, how was food shipped in en masse, ofc many hiveworlds stareved to death at the time and many hive worlds came into existence after the age of strife.
