Thank you, Miss Tina! I've had the same cookbook (I believe, the same) for years. You've encouraged me to pull these ingredients together and can this. Yours look amazing!!! ♡ Thank you ever so much for sharing!
I've been following you for years and I believe this is the first time I've ever commented. I appreciate you, and all the work you put in your videos. Much love from Texas, USA. ♡
Did you can in water bath or pressure canner? Thanks for sharing the recipe 🙏🏻💕
Hi there... would like to try this recipe & glad you posted this video! Wondering if rather than ham you or anyone has or would consider using chopped hot dogs instead..? I know sounds corny but I'm a bit of a rebel canner & thought it might be fun..
Hello. I would stay with ham or bacon even. I’ve canned beans and hot dogs before and it was not good! They got a odd texture to them and they took on the taste of the beans. It’s on my, I will never can again list.
@@wholesome.heartfelt Thank you for your feedback! Good to know!
So this is half recipe?
Looks delicious
Yes, it is
Can you do a waterbath I dont have a pressure cooker. Im very new at this so bare with me 😊❤
No you can’t. It has to be pressure canned or frozen
@@wholesome.heartfelt would you freeze in a container or bags?
Both would work. It just depends on how you wish to freeze them.
It needs to be 75 min for pints.
WHAT KIND OF BEANS? MY AMISH COOKBOOK IS ON ITS WAY TO ME.
Navy beans
I don't eat pork , just wondering how these beans would be without them.
I think they would just fine with the meat added to them.
I hate when people make things for the first time on youtube.
I hate a lot of things too, but I don’t feel the need to voice it.
Have a fantastic day
@@wholesome.heartfelt you just did!
I was replying. Nothing more.
Always enjoy being in your kitchen with you. Thanks for sharing! Enjoy the day. Catherine
Did you can in water bath or pressure canner? Thanks for sharing the recipe 🙏🏻💕
This is a pressure canning recipe
They look beautiful. That recipe sounds divine.
I also have this book but have not used it. I will now! Thanks for the video.
Hi Tina, the camera angle on this is fine, nothing wrong with it at all in fact I like the over head view when you are cooking and then the side view when you are putting the beans into the jars.... This recipe looks amazing and am definitely going to be trying this.... 🤗
Yum. I just love your canning videos. Thanks for the upload dear. I am going to be trying this one when I can beans next.
The kids said they were good.
Thank you!
Hi Tina, how you doing? Baked beans sound fine. Looks delicious. I really like this recipeTina. It looks great seeing you ladle the beans in the jars. Great job. Thanks, enjoyed watching. 👍👍🌹🌹♥️
I have the Amish Canning Cookbook, can't wait to make this reciepe! Hope your kiddos enjoy! Love your videos, thanks for sharing your talent!
The kids loved them.
Thank you
Thank You* so Much👍🦋
The Beans look DELISHES*
I have Everything to make this. Can't wait to make this 😋
The kids loves them.
Looking forward to hearing how the kids liked the beans. I've made the Ball recipe before and didn't care for them. If you like this one well I'll give it a try. The fact that the sauce was yummy even before canning is a big plus. Thank you, Tina!
The kids loved them.
Really good looking beans filled perfect. Thanks
Camera angle fine, beans look great. 👍. Have the book, the beans, so weekend project..❤️thx
Thanks for sharing I am definitely going to do this. I really enjoy your videos I love you so much good stuff from them.
Thank you!
Great job thanks for sharing
Looks tasty. Can't wait to hear the verdict from the taste testers. 👍
The kids loved them.
I really enjoyed your video. No need to apologize.
hi love your videos , I was just wondering what size stock pot that is that you have your beans and sauce in
So how did the kids like them? I have been looking for a good baked bean recipe for a long time. I am asked to bring baked beans to almost every time I need to bring a food item. But I’m still looking for a recipe that I love not just setting with😉. I do love the Amish Canning book!
The kids said they were good.
I don’t think I would ever do a full recipe of it. It makes a lot.
Beans are a funny thing. You either love them or hate them.
The camera angles looked fine to me, but then I'm known to be half a bubble off plumb. :)
😂 oh it was level. Just the wrong way. But you may not notice it.
The perfectionist in me sees it.
P.S. Watched both commercials to make sure you got your adsense. I know how much that matters. Again thanks for the video dear. It looks so good. Also P.S.S. Your sub count is doing SO amazing. Cant wait to see just how much your channel grows dear.
Thank you.
I didn’t know there was 2. I don’t do the add more ads on.
Yes it climbing. It gets harder to keep up with comments.
Eager to hear about the test taste as I want to try the recipe without ham. Looks yummy.
The kids loved them. The taste test was a hit
We like seeing you...
Thank you
Could you tell me what kind and how much beans you used in this recipe please?
Well hm, camera angle looked fine to me, too. Mind if I ask what type of bean that was?? I found out the type of bean can make a difference in the end product. They looked good tho, kind of like pork n beans. What did your guineas think of them?? :D
The angle would look right to you. I’m a perfectionist in a way. I can see what’s wrong with it.
I always use navy beans for beans like this. Clean simple taste.
Sorry I missed the last part.
Yes the kids loved them.
Those beans look so very good. How do you store your empty jars, lids and rings ?
Jars in boxes
Lids stay in the boxes until I use them. I toss them once they are used.
Rings I store in a big bags.
Which beans did you and your family like more Boston beans or baked beans?
My family loves all kinds of beans so it’s hard to say on that.
If they are done cooking BEFORE you can them don’t they get really mushy when you can them?
It’s a fine line.
Make sure not to fully cook the bean.
They look amazing.. Did you have any leakage?
oops, and is this canning book on your Amazon page?
It could be. I would have to look.
There was a bit. But a few I did over fill a bit.
What type of beans did you use please? 🦋💜
Navy beans
I was wondering what bean did you use.
Navy beans
What kind of beans did you use?
Navy beans
Where can I get The Amish Cook Book
You can get it off amazon
Wondering how it would be with beef since we don't eat pork.
You could leave it out.
What is the name of the book you use.
Really?
I show the book in the beginning plus it’s in the title.
Amish canning cookbook
Wilhelms Kitchen p
I started this video about six month ago when I had my grand child.
I didn’t remember the begin that you showed the book. SORRY.
I love you videos and you Inspired me to start canning.
I bought the exact pressure canner do you have.
Thank you .
great recipe. But why is it called BAKED beans, because I never saw or heard that you bake the beans in this vid.
That’s what they called it in the book. So I can’t answer that.
city homestead that’s what they are called if she said Boston baked beans that’s not what they are. Boston baked beans are not made with tomato sauce.
You could have let your beans soak at least 24 hours and not have to cook them. Everything else was on spot. Oh put your beans, plain, in jar then fill to the bottom of rim with your liquid.
