The thumbnail made me think she cried cause mother in law didn't like food but she is just crying from the cooking spices.😂
omfg 😭😭😭 that’s even funnier
That’s called clickbait.
@Jake Alvin Yup, been watching on Flixzone for since november myself :)
@Jake Alvin Yup, been watching on Flixzone for months myself =)
The Haitian Mom was incredibly kind in her critique. They will hurt your feelings quick fast when it comes to Haitian cuisine.
😂😂 sa sa ye la sa w bam la?🤨
this mother in law is so nice🥺🥺 i thought she’d be mean😩
Haitian mom's can speak to you softly and drag you at the same time.
@@jessicamompoint1849 tell em 🤣
Shhhhhh don’t tell em
Yes
Fr fr Haitians can be ruthless
I’m Haitian and I’m afraid to cook for my mom lmaooo shout out to this girl, you’re a queen!
Aww that's so sweet! Thank you!
Same! I don’t need the judgment in my life 🤣
Lol me too
They are way way easy on other race than Haitian daughter in law, she get away with it but you wouldn't.
Am scared to cook for my own grandmother because she the OG. I definitely want to cook for my grandmother one day though. Make her proud of her first grand daughter.
Also let’s appreciate how sweet the wife was really trying her best when you could see she struggled so so hard and it wasn’t her thing she was really trying to please her husband and mother-in-law
agree
the spot she chooses to cut stuff at gives me anxiety on many levels 😥
Its called having no counter space 😂
I was thinking the same.
I do it all the time. It’s a skill after a time 😭
And that cutting board was so small 😬😬😬😬😬
Wow the MIL actually gave her compliments.
MIL Stands for mercy in London
😂😂
This girl is sweet and this was thoughtful but her interaction with food is telling me that she has probably never cooked anything in her life 🤣
Same thing I said to myself. Poor thing....
Auntie Hersha energy...
so true and agree
I agree!
😂💀I was thinking that too.
I've never had a decent mother in law. So, I stopped getting married.
Its a numbers game you just have to keep trying dont give up
@@bigpapa2195 thank you for the supportive words. I'll go get married tomorrow
Hahaha I’m dyinnng over here !!!! 😊😊😊😊
😂😂
Think ur the issue
You can see the love, they all have for each other. Beautiful family
Baby girl, you have to cut the plantains at an angle so that they are easier to crush
For the next time, lol!
I was taught to smash them between plates lol
no...fcking way .....
@@PrinterGATM I smash them with a glass🤣 my mom always do that
@@PrinterGATM for real where was this tool when my mom had me smashing 200 tostones lol
omg I LOVE YOUR MOTHER IN LAW her laugh is infectious
Lucky lady. She’s got to be one of the sweetest mother in laws.
Lol you can always work on the rice, the fact that she got the chicken & Banan right is good enough!!
Awww thanks! :)
for some reason i get happy when i see non-Haitians cook my country Haiti's food
I feel the same when I see non-Jamaicans make our food. I'm always rooting for them lol
Awww I'm so glad! Haitian food is delicious!
Man you have no idea!
Because it’s funny 😭
@@SherylDesir aww thanks 🤩
I could tell by the sound of her chewing when she ate the rice that it wasn't done 😭 but she still worked hard
Sheesh she flexed on us a little at the end with the language switches 😂💪🏽
Lol right
Many Haitians (born/educated) in Haiti learn Kreyol, English and French. My husband went to school in Haiti up to age 16 and he speaks all 3 fluently.
@@jbsqueen07 yeah but the Spanish combo was nice
This Haitian Mother in law is the sweetest.
The unstable cutting board on the sink divider is enough to give me a complete panic attack!
Moma hit them with that French and Spanish!!! Love it!!!
Creole*
@@fadia6515 *creole AND french actually. The « merci beaucoup » was french, the rest was creole
Creole and French. She said Merci Beaucoup then Ann al netwaye
I said Spanish cause she said gracias 😂😂😂, the rest after that I thought was all french didn’t realize she said something in creole too, thank you!
That was a great video. The mother in law was sweet and honest in a constructive way. You can tell that she is genuinely a kind person. Kudos to the wife for making effort to cook for her mother in law.
A tip to peel the plantain is to poor some hot water over it, make a longitudinal slice along the plantain, and peel it off on the opposite direction. The heat will ease the process of peeling the plantain. Great job with the plantain.
I love that mother in law. She was so sweet and kind. Reminds me of my middle school teacher. She is the reason I am still in university to this day. I love this women. ❤️❤️❤️
One thing about Haitians, they know their rice😂☺️ good job 🔥
Your husband's comments are the greatest lmaoooo "OK Captain America" 🤣🤣🤣 I love you guys!
I’m scared to cook for my own mom. Great job girl.
Hahaha thank you!
That’s true my mom always judging my food but still keep asking me to cook🤣
As a Caribbean person you think that everybody burns sugar to stew chicken. When watching this you realize it’s a Caribbean thing
Not all Caribbean people we cook differently in different countries.
Nah some of us just buy the browning in a bottle not make it from scratch.
Haitian brown it in the pot no sugar
Your mother in law so sweet. Has a Haitian American I gotta give you props for making the food. Haitian food takes a long time to make and you did a great job
they're both so endearing and adorable! happy mother's day!
Im not Haitian but I lived with Haitian family and my Haitian ex boyfriend of 6 years and his mother and aunties taught me . Trust, the mother in law was very gracious and kind; none of that food was prepared correctly or cooked well. Haitian food takes longer marination and specific techniques to taste authentic.
Lmao, facts you know. At least she tried though.
😂😂😂 Give her grace. She tried
Mother in law is absolutely gorgeous and seems like such a sweet and caring woman.
Mother in law skin is popping tho ✨😍
I love the mother in laws energy. She seems glowy and happy.
You go girl I give you 8 for taking the time to cook for your precious mother-in-law. Sak pase se Haitien mwen ye
Best episode I seen from buzzFeed makes me think about how my Haitian mother use to rate my food when I first started cooking lol well done Buzzfeed 👌🇭🇹🇭🇹
Awww this was so nice it’s nice to see mother and daughter in law have a good relationship
She sounded like my mom at the end. And yes I did clean after she told me to 😅🇭🇹
100%, man you can think you're making the best dish like she's gonna love it.
Her : ou netwaye Kwizin lan
She did a great job!! She mastered the hard part which is the chicken. The rice you can always practice ☺️ she said she's making chicken from now on😂
So remember her mother in law. Nice lady. Glad to see she is back in north America again. Be safe and take guys.
She didn't know cooking at all basically cooking first time 🤣
lmao!
I love the mommy. She is so sweet! Much love!
This mama in law was Sooo Kind❤️ Exactly, don’t crush the young.
I love her spirit, she is going above and beyond for her mother in law who is just as sweet
The mother in law was so sweet. Love their relationship
Not only is this the first time she's cooking for her MIL but, it looks like her 1st time cooking in general lol. Who acts like that when getting splattered by the hot grease lol
The momma is very very nice! I like her! Even being honest about the rice being undercooked she was so pleasant about it.
The rice ALWAYS takes practice. I love rice but hate making it. My favorite Haitian rice is diri djon djon.
Rice is VERY important for us. No Haitian bias in this, but Haitians make the best rice.
My hubby is also Haitian but she doesn’t eat what I cook…hubby likes my food but some Haitian mother’s are tough.
Like her honesty
I’m Haitian too
Lol she’s the nicest meanest loooking mother in law 🤣🤣🙂
You did a great job, Beautiful. I'm 30, married, and still haven't mastered my Haitian mom's food skills.
The food actually had the right look! I heard the crunch on the plantains, and the chicken looked great. National rice (the rice and beans you cooked is part of our national dish ) is dear to our hearts so don't mind us being picky about it.
all MILs need to learn from her! love and be nice to their son's partner!
why not just cook together, what a lovely way to really bond with your mother-in-law and take the anxiety out of the whole thing?
omg so true!
😂🤣😂 I just kept shouting no don’t do that at the screen 🇭🇹 but glad she did the epis although out of order at least it was applied.
The food looks Haitian she did a decent job 👏🏼
I saw the thumbnail. Read the title. And started praying for her
😂😂
I won’t lied, I click on it just because of the thumbnail... I was DRAMA!!!
This lovely 😊 mother in law she’s a good person I can tell that
Love the mother in law and the daughter in law for working so hard!!!!!!!!!🥰🥰🥰
Girl taste the food first and especially if you’ve never made it before. 😂 the rice yeah boo you should of tasted it 😂 but that’s awesome she did that for her Mother in Law ♥️
Awww her mother in law is so nice
genuinely read this as “woman cooks her haitian mother in law for the first time” 🤣😂
🤣🤣🤣
Who ever reading this God bless you and your family
Thank you so much, God bless you and your family too
Thank you, God bless you and your family as well!!! ✝️💖🙌🏼🙏🏼🕊☺️

Chile I already knowwwww what it’s gonna be if she burning rice 😭🤦🏾♀️
Haitian mothers in laws are the hardest to please🤣🤣🤣🤣
THE MOTHER IN LAW WAS SO NICE!
The mother-in-law is such a sweetheart
Oh my god, I've never been so stressed out watching someone cook. Calm down, drink a glass of wine, put on some music, and for the love of god turn the burners down.
🤣🤣
She is so sweet... she is OUR mother🥺

Hahahahhaha Sheryl this was hiliarous. Your mother-in-law is funny and Alvin's commentary is too much hahahah. Loved it!
“Uh uh” her little shocked face omg I love this 😭😫🥰
Mom is soo beautifullll and classyyy...i love my people💙💙💙🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹
Haitians cook the best in my experience. Their food is cooked with flavor and love and care. Nothing compares
Every mother in law wants a daughter like you 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
So proud of you girl for trying to make this food . Well done keep it up trying some more.
My 🇭🇹 Haitian in here. What did you think of the food?
I like the mother-in-law ...
Me too!
Her mother in law seem so sweet!🥰
This dude better put a ring on her quick!!!!!.....even momma loves her bruh!!!!
I want to see more videos from this couple, great job family.
The countertop and entire kitchen is too high for this poor girl! I'm short and I cut on a lower separate table... Of course she's scared of the oil splattering toward her face, I liked the captain America method
Wow ! Mom is beautiful! Love her hair
She did good for her first time and trying I loved it. That would be me making a dish I have never tasted or made before
Great family spirit that's why I love spagnol family
"I'm going to make a plate for my mother-in-law"
Pulls out a 1 inch by 2 inch cutting board
She makes me so proud to be Haitian
“ It looks good,I didn’t think I would want to eat my own food”😅🙃
Mommie is so beautiful!
Sheryl and Alvin are so funny! I LOVED this video! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thumbnail had me dying before I even say the video😂😂😂
I'm learning how to cook from my soon-to-be mother in law as we speak so I can cook for her son when we marry. Pray for me y'all lol
She's like in the lab carrying out a dangerous experiment 😆
What a lovely mother in law , and that food looked soooo good
Gracias, es hora de limpiar. 😹 que bella. ❤️
