Yeah the more you try to hide with it the louder it gets because the point of the howler is to embarrass the child in front of their friends/peers. It makes the scolding more impactful.

Yes they had Harry sleeping in the closet under the stairs even though they had 4 bedrooms. One for Vernon & Petunia, 2 for Dudley and his extra crap and a guest room. In the book Harry gave tge free Lockhart books to Ginny and bought his own set. It was a way to help out the Weasleys who had to buy 4 sets of pretty expensive books as well as all of Ginny's school things like a wand (also fairly expensive). All he had to do was say he'd prefer to buy his own because he didn't want the free ones and the proud Weasleys didn't argue too much. Turning the animals into water goblets is just practice for transfiguration. The animals are changed back after class. Dobby physically can't explain in more detail. It's part of the house elves enslavement that they have to keep the secrets of the family they serve. Dobby really was trying to save Harry from Malfoy's plan he just had an..odd...way of doing so.
You mentioned how can such few teachers keep up with all those students. That's a good question. Every house has a Head Boy and Head Girl that are also the school prefects. They assist the teachers that are Head of the houses by keeping an eye on the other students in the houses. As prefects they are like hall monitors and they have special privileges like walking around the school at night to ensure that students stay in the dorms.
the cast on this harry potter movies nears perfection, on my opinion. every actor and actresses are so well chose to their roles, in my opinion. i love Hagrid. Note: This is the only Harry Potter film with an after-credits scene; did you ever see it? Note: This is the last Harry Potter film with veteran actor Richard Harris playing Dumbledore; he passed away before filming began on the third film. Note: In the next film Harry, Ron, and Hermione are 3rd-years, so enter as 13-year-olds. You will see behavior in Harry and Hermione common to those who have entered puberty: impatience with nonsense and injustice, intolerance with rules and restrictions, irritation with authority figures and bullies. A couple fun facts (someone might have pointed them out, but I don't see another comment saying those): Dracos line "I didn't know you could read" was improvised cause the actor forgot the actual line. Harry saying to Lucious "don't worry I will be" (always here to save the day) is also improvised by Daniel I think the same reason he forgot his original. And Lucious kicking Dobby down the stairs was improvised by the actor and the others were confused what he was doing (as in this movie Dobby is just animated, while in the later movies it's mo-cap) and thought that he like slipped or something and he told them that no, he just kicked Dobby.
The Harry improvised line is NOT him forgetting his line. Jason Isaacs suggested Lucius should say a line and the director went “go for it”; Daniel Radcliffe *threw that line back at him completely out of the blue.*
Technically the "Avada Kadavra" is improvised. The script says "and Luscious tries to curse Harry...." Jason Isaacs didn't know any curses, so he asked a crew guy. The crew guy had heard "Avada Kadavra", so that is what he said when the time came. He didn't even know it was the killing curse.
The actor said in an interview that he didn't know any spells so he asked a Grip or Camera Operator. The guy had only heard Avada Kadavra, so that is the one he said. He didn't even know it was "the killing curse".

the question early on about making a cake using magic, in the world of harry potter there is a Natural Law to magic, known as "Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfiguration", which is aset of 5 rules, the most notable (and i believe the only one known) is about food, in that food cannot just be made, with the exception of things with little or no sustainanc value (like water, sauces and wine) which is a bit weird, but other than that food can only be summoned from somewhere else (you sea this with the great feast in the great hall, its summoned from the kitchen below the hall, and is made by the schools house elves), however food can be multiplied, and Enlarged.

There is a reason behind Ron's fear of spiders. When he was little their mother took the Twins toy teddy bear and gave it to him. Fun fact: Rupert Grint(Ron) is deathly afraid of spiders in real life so animatronic and cgi spiders had to be used in place of real ones. Dumbledore knew they were there because A) he's not stupid, he knows Harry and his friends are probably going to try to figure things out for themselves. And B) He was using a spell(I forget what it's called) that allowed him to see through the cloak.

Yes basilisks in dark souls are the frog things, basilisks in DnD have like 50 legs and basilisks in harry potter are snakes. Yeah... people really can't decide how many legs is a basilisk supposed to have.

I still find it crazy that Lucius was prepared to use the killing curse on school grounds. **SPOILERS** Was he going to risk his position at the ministry and potentially pull his son out of school before his 3rd year? I'm not sure if the Death Eaters know how imminent Voldemort's return is at this point so maybe he felt comfortable jumping ship and homeschooling his son. Maybe he was intending the spell for Dobby rather than Harry, though I feel like a free elf must have enough rights for Lucius to at least lose his job if not tried for murder.
The actor actually didn't know the curse or what it meant when he used it, he just asked what he should say there and someone else on set was like, "There is this one curse..." So he repeated it without knowing the implications 😅
@@angelalurtz3638 It's been a long time since I read the books so I can't remember if he attempts a curse there. So yeah maybe it was just a bit of movie magic.

I just watched this movie today and was wondering what you guys would think of it! Maybe I'm psychic lol
The book that Lord Voldemort was presented in could only be destroyed by the Basilisk Fang in this movie ❤❤❤
And B) He was using a spell(I forget what it's called) that allowed him to see through the cloak.
there is no spell that can make you see through the cloak. Dumbledore knew they were there, he didn't see them though.
@@Luthwen1301 I read something that said there was, I guess it was a made up fact.
@@passionsquietrage yeah, there are a lot of made up facts swirring around on the internet
If you know where the cloak comes from you know it can't be magic-ed. (Spoilers)
Awesome reaction of my favorite Harry Potter movie!!!!😊😊😊😊
One of the best books in the series and has a payoff later on bigger than any other series I know.
Since you're putting out one episode a day leading up to Christmas I'm assuming you've probably seen them already I'm not going to say anything just in case, but for them to destroy the book he needed the Venom in the tooth. It wouldn't be a vaccine that he needed it would have been Anti-Venom if you was a muggle. Although the only known cure for that particular Venom is it tears from a phoenix
the basilisco is scary
‘Just like John McLane!’
Yes basilisks in dark souls are the frog things, basilisks in DnD have like 50 legs and basilisks in harry potter are snakes. Yeah... people really can't decide how many legs is a basilisk supposed to have.
All the food prep and cleaning is done by house elves like Dobby. They probably took down the xmas tree too.
Glad you are enjoying these ones and that you like this as well. The third movie is actually my favorite one and also the favorite book as well so I would be curious how you feel about it. Any way a Basalisk is a mythical creature in the greek myths I think. Any way I love dobbi he is such a cute little creature and silly as well. The movies just get darker and darker as time goes on and grate reaction guys.
Do y’all think Harry Potter and Star Wars movies counts as Christmas movies?
Star Wars, no, especially considering the reputation of the infamous Holiday special. Harry Potter, on the other hand, seems more Halloween related, since witches and stuff like that.
Petition for Suzy and Steejo to release that invincible episode (and to watch Chernobyl)
I recommend Supernatural, Walking Dead and Lucifer for future series reactions
Why people just keep asking why would the keep him in his house if they don't like him... Because they make him do their household chores its less work for them .. didn't you guys see that in 1st movie ...🤦
8:47 I didn’t know they had invented invisible buttons. Must be a wizard thing… 😅
Sorry girl but you crack me up!😂 you said “why not him?” About Harry not wanting Gilderoy Lockhardt to fix his arm😂😂 have you not noticed he’s clueless? 😂😂😂 Girl!!!!! 😂😂😂
No hermione not oculus repairo - it's AVADA KADABRA! So you can become the dark lord lol
Have thou read "Manacled?" 😂
brooms are like cars getting a new upgrade very few years play the game it helps explain
Merry Christmas!
What happened to the invicible series?
The show is on hiatus until February I believe
Suzy, a Slytherin Lannister.
53:00 You are upset we say you're a Slytherin but your go to solution when someone sees you crash your car is "Kill them".
Hope you're enjoying your marathon
Or, the old-supposed-to-be-dead guy has benn bullying me?🤣🤣
YEEESSSSSSSS!! I'm so excited!!
Harry can’t leave the Dursley’s whenever because ultimately there’s a protection there from his mom coming through his aunt and he can’t use magic under aged
The only ones that can open up the chamber of secrets has to able to speak parsaletounge snake language like harry Salazar Slytherin and tom riddle it's explained better in the book
It don’t tell u why they kept him in the movie only in the books
I still find it crazy that Lucius was prepared to use the killing curse on school grounds.
**SPOILERS**
Was he going to risk his position at the ministry and potentially pull his son out of school before his 3rd year?
@@danielj6897In the book he does attempt a curse, prompting Dobby to defend Harry. I don't recall if it is specified which.
Hogwarts legacy has flying but not quidditch, but theyre making a spinoff quiditch game

1:10:14 why did he say that so calmly?
It's been 6 months so I guess I can comment the rat was better off staying a goblet.
