In these long haul flights, well, I can only say it from the passenger's perspective, but even with some hours of sleep and good meals, it's super super tiring. It does. Yesterday (the day after this flight) was a terrible day. Today it's much better but slept much longer than I'm used to in the morning. I'll recover and that's the way it is. Longer layover like this one also gives more jet lag. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I've worked on the ramp both on the airline side and the private side but this man easily takes the #1 spot on my top 3 favorite pilots.
I don't get why so many have high egos. Hell, even the baby CFIs at my flight school have an attitude.

I'm retired now but I used to clean my windows by writing it up in the log book. Then they have to address the write up. Never had a dirty windshield deferred.

@@MrLockwire I used to do my own on 727's and DC-8's but would be glad to watch you hang out the escape hatch on a 747 and show me a good technique for cleaning the windshield.

I used to clean the windows on my aircraft when I was an airline mechanic, I’m sure no pilot ever gave any thought to me doing that. I knew I like a clean windshield so why not.
