It was their first time flying passengers in this plane so I guess cargo planes don’t have a camera in the tail, bc boxes don’t mind not seeing outside lol
@@marioghioneto1275 every button is important missing one may cause disaster that's the reason why airline allow minimum unnecessary conversation during flight for pilots

@@mightyrockstar22 If the video button was important, it would be on more aircraft. This is the first time I've ever heard of such function in a cockpit, to be honest.

Can I ask why are you jealous? Is it an airline thing or the cockpit layout is better on the A350?
It’s just that I’ve always had a weakness for this beautiful plane and would love to fly it - and the cockpit looks like it has a lot of nice things to play. Just missing the HUD we have on the 78 ;)
Jet Lag The HUD is an option that SAS has decided not to order. Guess it’s an economical decision based on the cist for buying it but also training of pilots plus maintenance.
No HUD, but you have these cool external cameras! :)

@@jamescollier3 I assume by “manual instrument”, you are referring to mechanical backup instrument. And in that case, no, on most modern airliners there isn’t any classic vacuum/gyro attitude indicator, altimeter or navigation instrument.
However, for aircraft certification, there is still a digital integrated standby instrument system (ISIS), serves as a backup instrument, normally placed on the left side that is a combination of attitude, heading, altitude, ILS backup indicator. In the extreme unlikely event that we loose all generators and all batteries are dead and all the primary flight displays are gone, then yes, we still have a backup instrument just for that.
I can't imagine a better advertisement for an airline than a video where the flight crew is happy while preparing in-flight meals.
its very fuel efficient. the guys at lufthansa said the a340 carried the same payload and same amount of passengers as the a350. the 340 took 100 tonnes of fuel from germany to LA but the 350 used only 77 tonnes. fuel savings to 23 tonnes
Well a340-600 can carry more payload than a350-1000

If that were possible that would be cool. I don’t think the outcome would be fantastic though.

It's true that the A350 is a really quiet plane. On full throttle taking off you can just hear a hum, that's it, no Millenium Falcon noises like on the 777 or the 787. It's so quiet that it's amazing. I've flown on economy (right after the wing doors) and premium economy (with the engine next to my window) and I was shook at how quiet it is. It really deserves the "Hushliner" nickname.

I cannot get over your channel. I have never seen someone show this much detail. I’m just a simulator pilot that’s starting out in a Cessna 152 but you are making me want to fly the A350.

We've come a long way! I learned to work the North Atlantic in a USAF C-141. Voice comm on HF, dual INS with 9 waypoint limit and the only moving map was in your head. That's a nice ride you have there.

It always amazes me how pilots of large aircraft and fighter pilots no what every switch and button do, and can combine that with all of the chatter coming from ATC.
They are so used to all the switches so they don’t even think about it. Just press them.

I was flying on a350 from London to Manila and back and easily can say my new favourite plane 😎
I often go to Manila but from Canada . Which carrier are you using which uses 350? Here most of airlines use the 787 or 777.
