This twin test is totally invalid. Most of the facts for the ID Buzz are out of date and you are comparing the normal 5 seater instesd of the 7 seat long wheelbase. The software is out of date, and so are the many new additions, some briefly mentioned, others passed over.
Have an ev 9 light long range for 6 months 11000 miles love it range is better than advertised . Charge to 80% range is 300 seen it as high as 340 charged to 100% and a mile is a mile . Lease payment is less than I would pay monthly for gas . Deal are aggressive on ev 9 . Go drive one

I need this comparison for the American long wheelbase version. I love the looks of the Buzz but the extra 50 miles of range on the Kia is making me second guess myself...
Buzz needs more range for me. Should have 120kW battery due to its inefficient design. Need more battery capacity to push it to an acceptable distance. Unrelated observation. People are nostalgic. Ford Branco is doing extremely well. I suspect VW will move more Buzz than Kia moves EV9 in North America.
@timogronroos4642 Lucid Gravity will have around 118 kWh or more, with a 2-inch lower profile. Lucid would call VWs inability to package a decent size battery "dumb tech."

You can not put a 120kW battery in the current ID.Buzz unless you want to have a 2-person car with no luggage.
