The Home button works on the remote and I can use it to return to the fire stick home screen. The steering wheel control still works to change the volume, however. Any ideas?

I have done this multiple times today. The set ON message flashes but still tells me to put it in park! I'm so lost. I just paid $600 for this w4660 and it won't let me bypass!
@@BradyQuinn10ND I had first tried a micro HDMI adapter with the female end and nothing worked. I then tried a micro hdmi cable with the male end and got the coupler that Enyel mentioned. I was finally able to get picture, but then it stopped working. I don't know if it's the coupler or the cable, but this combination seems to work. The micro hdmi adapter does not work
You can always buy the $10 cable from eBay so you don't have to do the touch bypass. Just get in your car and drive. I only watch music videos. REALLY SUCKS that pioneer made us do this instead of just grounding the yellow wire. Bastards i tell ya!
Not usually on Pioneers. Good Pioneers anuwaus. You can hook up a toggle switch. Green park brake wire from headunit into toggle, then on the switched side of toggle run wire to chassis. Pioneer units need a timed ground.
🤦🏼♂️🙋🏼♂️ i do not understand why u are doing all of that to bypass the parking break….didnt u put the toggle switch in???🤷🏼♂️ when u put ur car in gear, the video stops Playing..to bypass that, all u have to do is get u a toggle switch, w a red and black wire..take the lime green wire on ur radio and connect that to the red wire in toggle switch, and then just ground ur black wire to a screw, the all U have to do is when u put ur car in gear, and the attention messege pops up, U turn the toggle switch on, and it bypasses rhe parking break and ur video starts playing again…i dont understand all that stuff u was dojng to bypass the parking break..🤷🏼♂️..that light green wire is ur parkig break wir3. U just DONT wire it into the harness..u wire it to a toggle switch and ur done..and just mount ur toggle Switch somewhere easy to get to mine is right under the dash close to the radio…takes about 15 minutes to install,.and then only takes 1 second to turn on and bypass the pArking break

Yep no special wire and he’s got the DMH-WT8600NEX and I’m gonna test this on my 4660NEX tomorrow with the latest update to see if it still works. 🤞🏻
