The Kia Telluride has become one of the most popular 3-row SUVs in the entire segment, with tremendous demand and great reviews from owners and the media. We recently spent an entire week living with a 2022 Kia Telluride SX Prestige featuring the Nightfall package. The Telluride looks extremely upscale and distinctive for the segment, helped here by the Nightfall package that blacks out all the trim, grilles, badges and window trim. The powertrain works well (although there is no hybrid or turbo option), it rides very nicely, has a great interior with quality materials and technology. This all adds up to make the Telluride an great SUV. I really enjoyed my week with the Telluride and now really understand why it is so popular!

We purchased a 2021 Telluride SX Prestige a year and a half ago. After 22K miles I can say it has been flawless. Absolutely the best new car we have ever owned - and our historical new car purchases include Cadillac, Two Hondas, Nissan, Chevy and Mazda. None of those other vehicles can compare to the first year and a half ownership experience we have had with the Telluride. Loved our KIA experience so much I just went and purchased a 2022 Stinger GT2. Modern KIAs are amazing.
I appreciate your review on the Telluride. You gave some fresh insight that a lot of other reviews haven’t given, such as a lot of nighttime footage so we got to see both the inside and outside lighting, and some real world storage with your Costco items. However, I was very interested to see how the Kia was going to drive in snowy conditions since I too live in a cold climate. You cleaned the vehicle off and got inside and then ended the video! Darn! I was so disappointed that you didn’t continue the video and give us a taste of driving this AWD SUV in the snow 😕

Really is one of the best looking cars on the road right now. As someone that is Korean, it’s great to see Kia/Hyundai making such great cars at the moment.
How did you find the size of it as a daily for the week, particularly as far as maneuvering in your average size parking lots?
It was great. Not too big
Best three row cross over on the market. Looks good outside, and inside no gimmicks. No capacitive touch buttons. Knobs and controls for everything. Engine smooth V6 with normal sequential transmission and no CVT or Dual clutch transmission or turbos. If only Kia and Hyundai used this formulae across all their vehicles,
It’s still a gdi which is the main issue and the sorento hybrid has a 6 speed torque converter auto

Are you sure you can get the sx with bench seats?
Definitely my next vehicle, although I love my Honda Ridgeline.
Test drove Ridgeline and Telluride few months back. Both great vehicles in their own right but on a test back-to-back the Ridgeline was noticeably more comfortable regarding the seats. The Honda seats just felt had better seat cushioning I thought! Honda need to upgrade their tech and designs though, The Pilot design in particular is getting long in the tooth!

I don't think so. For a gasoline car I'm not sure it would be needed.

Ambient lighting is included with the prestige package.

@@Rancejunge I believe that is the upgrade to LED lighting on the interior
The $450 lighting package includes lighting up the floor above foot pedal. The standard lighting with sx package is in the dash and doors. Hope that helps
