I discovered this song when I was 5 years old because my brother had a Sepultura CD, I still remember playing this song while "fixing" my little bicycle, just a 5 y/o feeling manly 😂 Now I'm 21 and I still play it while coding at my job lol
trial and error man, choose ur favorite tom sound, make sure that your toms are similar sizes, have similar heads, and tune till u get that sound you want. It also helps to have a recording of that tom sound u wanna replicate in order to compare it back and forth.

I have been drumming off and on for 13 years and mudvayne drummer Matthew McDonough to the Rev , (rest in piece brother ) of avenged sevenfold probably being my favorite 2 . I have never in my life seen a man behind a kit with this much talent! It’s freaking unreal and not fair damn it lol

Ive always loved the drums in this song. His hi tom sounds like a timbale which is so fire.
That was the first thing I thought when this came up. I wanted to see how he hit them.
Yeah that was tuned high to approximate the timbale sound hence the South American / Latino influence which makes it cool
