I just got this fridge about 3 weeks ago but How do you turn on the ice maker inside the freezer on so the ice cubes can fall in that white ice bin inside the freezer?
I got I think a similar model from Home Depot (available at other stores too), but it includes a craft (round ball) ice maker in the freezer. It's been nice. I didn't compare (at time of writing this) prices, to see potentially how much less the Costco one w/o that 2nd icemaker would be. Definitely an upgrade from our previous LG ~22 cuft model!
@@TanT80 nope it works great! What I have found with icemakers in the door in past fridges we have had was once the tray fills with water and if you open the door before it freezes the water can spill out into the door, that’s where issues become. So we are just always aware of that! But I can get ice cubes every 90 to 120 minutes out of a tray! And we use it a lot!
What was the price you got it for? Costco has it for $1,749. We had the refrigerator back in our old house and we loved it. In fact about less than 3 years in the compressor went out and LG replaced it for free. I think the compressor has a 5 yr warranty on it. If this happens or anything with the freezer tell LG it’s the compressor first so they will replace it because that’s the most expensive mechanism in a refrigerator to replace/fix. I have a Samsung, still good, but thought not having a dispenser was doable. Not! Miss this LG model so we’ll put the Samsung in the garage!
I mean the ice is in a bin in the door. You would want a water line but if you really wanted you could freeze them in trays, take out the bin, and dump the cures in the bin. It would still work.

Home Depot currently has this on sale for $1,599 we’re about to snag one and it has the cocktail ice maker as well.
Thats a water filter in the fridge not an air filter. And that tray in the freezer is for the craft ice maker storage.
Thanks for the video. How are you liking it? I'm thinking of buying this one from Costco.
Love the fridge no problems so far! And it doesn’t leak!
Any issues with your ice maker on the door since posting this video?

Question
The freezer does make ice or it's just to storage the ice?
@@anahirojano5114 makes ice in the door and stores it
Could you tell me exact dimensions would it fit through a 29.5 inch doorway?
So when they delivered it they took the freezer drawer and fridge doors off to get it through our front door. 🚪 👍
Does it need a waterline or can you do it manually for the ice ??
