Love my 4 door flex. I have several different sets of panels, right now have the Sunrise Yellow installed. Has the upgraded dispenser setup. Have had it for 2 years so far. Love your reviews and channel.
Thanks, Kathy! Will be getting a second Bespoke for the Studio when I get it completed Ina couple months... Will get one of the others though. Either the flex or the one with the outside access to the water pitcher.
Dude, your fridge and counter set up looks almost like mine, and I’ve got that stupid wall on the left too, just like that. This was the video I’ve been looking for. My current side by side makes it very difficult to access the freezer. Been shopping for a while and you just helped me make up my mind!
Another great video Joe. That wall on the left would really annoy me, but I guess you get used to it. Having to open the door to get water & ice, which sucks the cold air out of the fridge, I do like having it on the outside. But, that auto refill is kind of nice. Enjoy your new fridge! 🥶
Thanks, Tom. It was way worse with the old fridge because the icemaker was up top and would freeze over, but the door couldn't open far enough to remove the tray, so I'd have to slide the whole fridge out.
I have the side by side Bespoke. Bot in Sept 2023, broke in June 2024. It was the sealed system problem or something like that. The samsung customer service was very good. The service people were also very good. Was without the fridge for just over a week before it got fixed. Bottom line is I still like the fridge and have no bad things to say about the Samsung customer service .
Imagine all the times these break for people just outside of warranty if something as established as the sealed system wasn't even done right I Went GE Profile, burned way too many times by Samsung, & apparently all the reliability awards LG has is for not breaking in the first year, like seriously when did the bar get lowered so close to the floor
Mine was delivered on Jun 19, love everything about it except the fridge won't cool below 41 degrees F. I've been trouble shooting for 2 days. I put a glass of water in the fridge for 24 hours and it was 43 degrees. Not food safe. The fridge temp was set to 34. the flex drawer and freezer were cooling correctly. made sure all the vents were not blocked and plenty of space behind the fridge so plenty of air flow. Also turned on the Peak Demand override just in case that was limiting cooling but that didn't fix it. The good news is I bought it directly from Samsung and a quick 5 min chat online and they ordered a replacement for next week. Couldn't believe how easy it was to get it replaced. here's hoping the next one works.
@@caffeinated.possum I went direct because it was actually cheaper than through a local big box store and Samsung also offered an additional year of warranty for $1. So shop around YMMV. So far their customer support is great.
Got the replacement yesterday and happy to report it's cooling correctly. The temp in the fridge is 34-38 where the old one was 41-45. Both were set at 34. With this new unit I let the fridge sit unplugged for 3 hours to stabilize. Plugged in and let it cool down while empty for 8 hours and then filled it up.
Yes they are worth it bespoke fridge are very professional I have own one with the touchscreen displayfor a year and half now and have been very impressed with the performance Especially with the new duel ice Maker and even cooling all around this is the 3rd samsung refrigerator that I own so far and the best my complaint with the last one was the sorry ice maker but they fixed it with the bespoke model so far I an happy.
I have this model in stainless. Love it!! The beverage center and ice maker were the best selling points - no outside dispensers (they broke on both my previous fridges, so I figure scooping ice was the least prone to breakage. The pitcher is the perfect size for my iced tea maker. Initially thought the limited shelf adjustability might be a problem, but it’s not. Shelves are in the ideal height configuration. Couldn’t be happier. 🤞it holds up. There’s nothing I dislike about this fridge.
Yeah.. I'm liking it too so far. The biggest thing was getting the icemaker out of the fridge section... That was nothing but problems. When I finish my recording studio, I think I'll get another bespoke in black and grey
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Outstanding product review, as always Joe ... I believe you have the NEW range with duel motors for the first time, like the high end models ... Less strain on one motor and no transfer of smells ... I love seeing the new gadgets and the space saving ideas.... 😋 Joe, you can go crazy with more space for ice cream combo's ... How about, Fizz Wizz Popping Candy as a mix in ❓
We have the French door, one freezer on bottom with the beverage door and the screen. It’s the best fridge I have ever had by far!!! Had it a little over a year now and I hope it lasts forever! We bought the dishwasher shortly after the fridge and buying the range and microwave today!
We have the French door with beverage center. By far, the pitcher and water filler is the greatest “bell.” We had 33 cu. Ft Samsung beast for 12 years and loved it despite both ice machines crapping out after 3-4 years. I was soooo hesitant to downsize to a 24 cuft size but we aren’t missing the extra space much. Getting the ice machine out of the fridge is just plain smart. Duh!! I still haven’t figured out the purpose of the white cover over the ice…half the time, my teenagers just leave the scoop in the ice bin. =). Overall, super happy… oh the previous beast was $3300…this 24 cu ft one was $1800. A steal!!
Definitely.... The pricing on these is great. Having the ice maker out of the fridge was awesome, and when we got ours, I was looking for something that would dispense water from the fridge but not the ice. That pitcher is great.
@Caffeinated_possum they have a special going on through July 10 where you buy it with whatever, and they send you a set of panels for what color you like for free. Pretty sweet deal
I just bought one & this is the best video I've seen for it. Thank you. But I can't figure out how to hook up my Wi-Fi. The QR code in the user manual doesn't do anything
Great review! I do have this bespoke fridge, but in stainless, we wanted to change to the white glass. We ordered the panels but the directions are sparse. I need detailed instructions to go by. Any suggestions?
Would you mind measuring from the left wall to the left side of the door @ 3:05? My install is similar and I don't think I'll be able to open the left doors due to my wall. Thanks!
I'll have to measure that for ya when I get back.. But if I remember correctly, you need about 3.5 inches to get the door to swing open a full 90 degrees.
@TheBigBowy OK... Np.... Also if you look through the comments on this video, I might have given the exact measurements out for that as well. Not sure, but I think someone asked about it a while back.
Thanks for the great review! Our herding dog is sensitive to beeping, lol. Your video was the first to let us know about the door chime. Most stores don't have the floor models plugged in, so that was very helpful. Do you know, is there a way to turn that feature off?
@@JoesPhenomenal Thank you! The chat person on the Samsung site also responded after many requests to clarify my question. I appreciate you responding and feel a little more confident in the answer now.
@janicegarrett7991 I checked up on that for ya also... It's not in the app, but they're saying you can shut it off from the controls inside the fridge.
I personally just stick it in a small tuppperare container....if I have a whole box, I keep the extra in the freezer until I'm ready for it... It keep forever in there.
Nice...years ago I had a refrigerator that made ice but the tubing that ran from the sink to the fridge would always leak....I eventually did away with it and bought trays or bought ice instead. I have a new fridge but didn't want the icemaker hooked up...I just buy ice
We can't figure out why have a flex drawer when you could get the 3 door with more cu ft and 4 drawers instead of 2 inside? Plus the flex drawer option is more $. If only Samsung would make that flex drawer able to freeze!
@JenniferTrocke I have the version with the mid flex drawer in my studio. It does take away a little space from the upper fridge, but it can go all the way from slight refrigeration for wines down to a soft freeze. Pretty cool.
Your video’s title “…is it worth it?” was a list of features rather than addressing any technical problems I’ve heard about the Samsung Bespoke refrigerators since I just bought one. But I am glad you did talk about the ice maker being located in the lower freezer compartment, averting the ice maker problems I’ve been hearing about: stuck trays from frozen water leaks, build up of ice frost that people had to use ice picks to remove, and other reliability problems (not “issues “). Since this video was made 3 months ago and you have had time using it, maybe you can address the reliability issue for us. Thanks.
Sure.. That's fair. So far it's been perfect. I actually bought a second one for my recording studio that has a couple of extra features that I need to go through (The 4 door with the flex zone in the middle. Haven't had any issues with cooling or air leaks (My old Samsung from before had a nasty habit of letting air in through the freezer gasket, and you'd get frost and stuff inside. For years, Samsung has had the worst issues with their ice makers either just failing, or leaking, or just not making ice, or the door getting fused shut with melting and re-freezing ice, which was the main reason I wanted something that didn't have the ice maker in a warmer area like that since I did see that a lot of other brands were having some of those same issues.... I almost didn't buy the Bespoke because of those past issues, but I thought it was such a great deal, that I just rolled the dice. So far so good.. and since I swapped that slider over the ice bin, that's been working really great too. Fingers Crossed! Hope this helps ya.
@@JoesPhenomenal Other viewers would find that very useful to know when you make your next video on the improvements on the new Samsung Bespoke line of refrigerators. Thanks again.
@warrenchu6319 will do! I got the 4 door flex version I'm working on reviewing, and then I was gonna do a comparison between the 2, and in that one I might do the reliability update thing also I think.
Im a big fan of the water pitcher. I drink a lot of water, so being able to reliably have chilled water is great. I'll often take the pitcher and a glass with me to the living room and drink a lot more water without the extra "refill" trips :)
Hey Joe, Great info. I have this model, bought it 6-22. Yesterday all the food in the freezer is unthawed and everything in the fridge is warm. @@JoesPhenomenal Hi Joe, You got it! Had a tech come out & unplugged the refrigerant Line. He said it was defect from the factory. Fridge is actually much quieter and colder. Joe do you think that going on for 2 yrs would have a bad effect on this fridge?
@raeleens6871 glad it was an easy fix... On the 2 yrs it's hard to say.... This stuff all has a lot of tech in them now. There is more to go wrong than in the old days. The good think is that the Bespokes aren't super expensive if you don't get the media center models. Hopefully it lasts. I have 2, so we'll see!
@@JoesPhenomenal Well the fridge has died!!! Tech says they can't repair the leak in the copper refrigeration line. Samsung makes the line just long enough to fit, and the techs are not allowed to braise new line onto it. Sooo, we got a refund for the fridge $2260 but we are out $400 for the panels & $60 for the new water filter we didn't use + all the food we lost.
Hi Joe, thanks for the video. Would you be able to tell me the width and height of the space you put this fridge into? It's a little hard to find out, specifically, what the size needs to be with the doors open. Your space is incredibly similar to ours, so just curious. Thank you!
Hey.. No problem. The fridge is 70" tall, and 35.5 inches wide. If you have a wall on one side like I do, then you want to make sure there is no less than 3 inches clearance on that side to get the door to open enough. At 3 inches over there, it will open 90 degrees. I put a little felt pad on the wall so the door wouldn't get scuffed over there.
When I was reviewing it originally, the drawer was slightly off the track and I didn't notice it... Messed with it and it's better now. Thta model just had little plastic wheels on it and a plastic track.
Thanks for the review. I have the same "wall" situation on the left side of my current refridgerator. I was wondering how much space you have between the fridge and the wall. I appreciate the help.
Hey.. No problem. I have 3 inches of space on the left side, and that's juuussst enough to allow the door to open 90 degrees and not be in the way of the drawers.
@@JoesPhenomenal Thanks, I have almost 2 inches only. I think I might be better off getting the 4 door with the 2 bottom slide out drawers instead of the 4 door french door style. Thanks for the help!
If you have a line aleady for your ice maker, it just uses that. There's a switch in the door that gets depressed when you put in the pitcher so it will fill it when it's there. There's also a sensor to determine when it's full as well. It pretty convenient.
The controls in the app just have a slider for "ice maker". So I don't think you can control them individually....unless you unhooked one, which I'm not sure how that would effect the other ice maker.
@@JoesPhenomenal thanks. I went to Lowes today to see this frig up close and personal. Absolutely beautiful and well designed. I'll buy tomorrow. Thanks for your review. YT is great at providing info.

@kathyleah7088 I'm on the website looking at it now... Only one per household, so I might wait and do those free panels for the second one that I'm gonna buy for the studio. It's gonna be one of the other bespoke models.
I purchased on a year ago in May. I had to order it from Samsung. I needed a French three door in white no one else was making it in white. Home Depot could not get it in white. Samsung gave an extra set of glass panels but the color was limited to steel navy blue. Useless. I had Samsung come out to repair the freezer drawer gasket. Turned out to be the freezer drawer front was warped. They fixed it promptly and I got a free lesson from the tech on how to use the frig. The wifi is useless. The app is useless. The beverage center is great.
Love the looks & space of the Samsung Bespoke, just that I've been burned too many times with Samsung So I Went GE Profile which looks almost as good with almost as much space but it ain't top dog in at least those metrics, & apparently all the reliability awards LG has is for not breaking in the first year, like seriously when did the bar get lowered so close to the floor, though LG does compete closer with looks & size, but I prioritised engineering At least I'll have peace of mind knowing the ice maker is in the low freezer with a sealed top as it should, has it's own separate dry evaporator circuit, uses XWFE filtered water and has it's upper walls further buffered by another chilled meat storage section above, along with diagnostics, & commands, to for example manually run the defrosters for added piece of mind, notice I'm not really expecting anything other than the ice maker to need engineering, since I bought a rebadged 4.4K Café, meaning I can switch up the looks and have the reliability Realistically though having talked with the experts most fridges these days are made to fail after 5 years if not sooner, still GE's Profile seems to be well regarded with reliability just usually of of people's price, so I'm hoping for ten years like units of old out of this $4,000.00USD absolute unit, thank heavens for Black Friday sales though NGL
I hear ya... Lots of good points there. I got a couple of bad Samsung in the past. Had an ice maker problem at my last house... Moved... The new house had the same fridge, and I had ice maker problems again... That was always my problem with Samsung though, and it had a lot to do with whoever decided icemakers were a good idea to put in the warm section of the fridge. I rolled the dice on the bespoke since they put the ice where it belongs.. And that pitcher... So far they haven't made me regret it, but time will tell I suppose.
Yeah the new Bespoke are definitely a response to their earlier issues, so some technicians are thinking there is some potential for reliability, though it is missing the defroster & does seemingly have an ice spillage problem, but I do think Samsung at least covered their base with duel evaporator party of it, but only time can tell I have yet to plug up my GE Profile but I hear that with the app I can configure what times to run more efficient, it'll time the glassed defrosters to come on off peak hours which are the most power intensive part, though I already expect efficiency seeing how it gives up a cube or two just for extra insulation for the freezer section, and though I am happy especially with it's fantastic looks inside, boy do I wish it looked as good outside as the Samsung does!
@ChroniclesofKToyoda The GE profiles are pretty fantastic though... I think the Profile line is still manufactured in the USA as well. I know they moved a lot of their operation to China when they were sold a while back unfortunately.
@@JoesPhenomenal hopefully mines is too, think it might be, IK they sometimes don't even mention origin, which is a missed opportunity, because it can be a deciding factor for some I'm hoping I can find a local GE rep' I can talk to, there's a little bit of extra shelving & such I'd like to get thru a real person that's truly connected
If you closely at the serial number label inside the fridge, you can see where it was manufactured. It will either say so in plain English, or it will be a letter attachment in the model number
Is the water filter $50? Does it only last 6 months? We have an old refrigerator with a 10-year water filter on it. Will it still work if the water filter is past due? I don't want to spend $100 a year on filters for it. Thank you for the review! I am interested and am going to look at them today.
The Amazon branded ones are a lot cheaper, and also those filters really can last a lot longer than the 6 months they mention if you do have really messed up water. I'm on a well, so I have a lot of minerals in mine, so I have to do it on a pretty regular basis, but city water tends to be a lot easier.
@Caffeinated_possum I have always used the home depot hdx ones and it's worked out for me. You got a point though if the internal pressure is different.
Bought bespoke January 2024 and as of August 2024 it broke, repair guy came right away, but it wasn’t fixable after 3 visits so now it’s being returned. It leaked water all over our wood floors while on a vacation so it got moldy and permanently damaged the floor. Currently working with Samsung, they are helpful, but there seems to be a lot of talking to a person to find another person to repeat the same process over and over for a broken fridge. The need to simplify their refund process.
Well... at least they're standing behind it.. Samsung used to be terrible on the service side...sounds like they still have too many different people involved in the process though. Bit of a pain in the neck. Did you get mold into your walls too, or was it just the flooring?
Just wondering if anyone knows how easy it is to break or chip the glass door panels. I really love the one with the 4 doors. The one that has a separate control to turn the bottom right into a refrigerator instead of a freezer. Never bought a Samsung refrigerator, only their computers and tvs. A little hesitant to get it. Our current one is an Amana and has lasted 16 years. I drink A Lot of water so the extra door would be great. And it has to fit through the kitchen door. Tight squeeze. So if anyone has info to sway me to buy or not to buy I’d appreciate it. Thanks!
I'm in the same boat. 15 yr old Kitchenaid. Ice maker in the fridge. Outside water & ice. The thing has never flinched. The more research, advice, and shopping I do, the less I want to buy ANY new frige.
@@342boss I spoke to the repair man when he came back to change the gasket. Again. 🙄 Asked him which he recommends. They all hate Samsung. He said go with Whirlpool, GE or Frigidaire. Found a Whirlpool at Home Depot for $1798. Great reviews. Not just on their site. Big plus - it has crushed ice. My sister is over the moon that she can have crushed in a French door refrigerator. And it will fit through the door. We don’t throw away or replace anything until they die but I don’t want to wait until the fridge dies. We’d lose $$$ in food. It’s like a car. Better get a new one when it is showing signs before it completely dies. Too bad too. I really like it. Like my grandmother’s old Tappan stove. It lasted decades. Huge and had storage. You could fit a spaghetti pot, a skillet and a dutch oven on it at the same time.
I've been really happy with this one so far. I fact, I bought a second one with the 4th door to go out in the studio. So far, no problems, but neither one is very old yet. The auto fill pitcher is fantastic. The one out in the studio has that, plus an extra water dispenser. Both have the ice makers in the freezer where they belong. The glass panels are pretty sturdy. The frame of the fridge borders them so they can't get impacted from the sides, but they are glass, so if something bangs on them hard, I'm sure the glass could break. The panels are replaceable though and you can even get other colors. They do make stainless ones too, so if the glass worries ya, you can put those on instead as well. Hope that helps.
@342boss those older refrigerators are almost bomb proof. Nowadays all these new ones with the circuit boards really do add a lot of extra things that cna go wrong. Especially the ones with cameras and screens on them.
The water comes from the hookup for the ice maker. This doesn't have a water dispenser that you hold you cup up to. It just routes that inside to the pitcher instead.
@@JenniferTrocke LG's linear compressors are garbage. The original one went out at 6 years, the second one went out after a year. They put in a third compressor in March of this year and it just went out again. Currently looking at the Bespoke fridge with the flex drawer if I can figure out a way to cut my cabinet trim cleanly for a little more space.
I have a 3" gap from the side of the fridge to the wall, and it's just enough to allow that left door to open 90 degrees so I don't have any problems accessing anything. Not having a handle on the outside really helps that.
All that perishable food. My 10yo Samsung fridge just stopped making ice. I was just considering this as a replacement. However, the freezer looks small compared to a two door. I can easily fit bodies in my current one. Can you fit a large frozen pizza inside this freezer?
I can get one and see. I bought the bespoke due to my last fridge having ice maker issues also.. Lol. The freezer is really pretty nice sized... It's pretty deep, so it holds a lot more than my old one. The one is the studio is counter depth though, so that one's a bit smaller.
@@JoesPhenomenal please do, check it on both SD/CD. Other than a holiday turkey, a frozen pizza is the largest thing people buy. I hate my local pizza establishment, so I regularly buy one (Of course I have to spruce it up).
@kewlztertc5386 OK.. Here goes. For the standard depth, the upper freezer tray is 29w x 20d. It has a divider for the ice tray though so the actual area up there is 12.5x 20d. The lower tray is 28w x 19d with a clearance to the upper tray to 11 inches. However, there is a short 5in tall divider in the middle. For the counter depth, upper is 29w x 14d with the same 12.5in area that is uable on the right due to the ice trays. The lower freezer is 28w x 14d, 8 in clearance to the button of the upper tray, and the same 5in tall divider in the middle. Hope that helps!
So far so good. It can be a pain sometimes pulling the ice to the front of the tray as you use it though. It fills from the back, so if you don't do that, it won't make more ice as you use it up until you clear that area.
@jasonhudgins9437 oh god... That's a long time. Especially for a fridge. One of those things you can't be without. Guess I'm lucky that I have 2, just in case.
Bro youre hilarious. I found this video because my neanderthal brain couldnt understand why my water wasnt dispensing (The fridge came with the autofill setting turned off 😅)
Lol. Thanks. You'd be surprised how many people have mentioned the auto fill pitcher thing. They should probably just default that to on... Or at least put a sticker on the pitcher to tell people to do so.
An excellent refrigerator - that's coming from me, a appliance repair master. I recommend this brand because thanks to Samsung, I'm never out of work. Some drawbacks, like issues with the ice maker, go unaddressed for years by Samsung. But the low quality is offset by its short lifespan, meaning if you buy this brand, you'll be replacing it with a new one soon enough.
Good advice there. I'd do that with anything these days. Modern appliances havr so many circuit boards and stuff that can fail. It's not like the old days when everything was pretty much bomb proof.

My 8 kids like the outside door ice & water. My husband and I love the inside water and ice.

Awesome! Hope they take care of it for ya. It's a pretty common thing to go wrong for some reason. I run mine at 35 and - 6 in the freezer
@Caffeinated_possum seems like they do pretty quick delivery. When you think about it, after purchase, everyone makes you go through Samsung anyway.
Yeah...the old ice makers before we're terrible.
Awesome review man. Thanks 🙏🏽
You got it!
8:42 is it attached to the tap water pipe? Will it work with the ice and water refilling features off?
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Outstanding product review, as always Joe ... I believe you have the NEW range with duel motors for the first time, like the high end models ... Less strain on one motor and no transfer of smells ... I love seeing the new gadgets and the space saving ideas.... 😋 Joe, you can go crazy with more space for ice cream combo's ... Fizz Wizz, eh? Is that like that candy that does to popping stuff in your mouth?
@@JoesPhenomenal Yes, Kids & grown ups love it ... I brings back good memories
OK... Gonna have to do it. Pop rocks are similar to those, aren't they?
We have the French door, one freezer on bottom with the beverage door and the screen. It’s the best fridge I have ever had by far!!! Had it a little over a year now and I hope it lasts forever! We bought the dishwasher shortly after the fridge and buying the range and microwave today!
Nice. Did you stick with the Bespoke stuff on everything?
A steal!!
I don't understand the white cover but as someone sensitive to tastes I can Definitely appreciate the clear cover! (I don't have one ...yet😏)
The emerald green steel fridge is STUNNING! So Yes, It definitely is worth it!
Yeah.. That color looks great

Thanks for the kind words! Did you install the "Smart Things" app on your phone? That's what it runs though.

@JoesPhenomenal Would be appreciated! Thanks
@TheBigBowy OK... Np.... Also if you look through the comments on this video, I might have given the exact measurements out for that as well. Not sure, but I think someone asked about it a while back.
Received ours today. Thanks for the review.
No problem 👍

Thanks for the great review! Our herding dog is sensitive to beeping, lol. Your video was the first to let us know about the door chime. Most stores don't have the floor models plugged in, so that was very helpful. Do you know, is there a way to turn that feature off?
I think you can change to volume and shut it off in the app.
Thanks for the video! Should be getting mine on Thursday. Just realized there is no butter drawer in the door. Where do you store your butter?
I personally just stick it in a small tuppperare container....if I have a whole box, I keep the extra in the freezer until I'm ready for it... It keep forever in there.
Nice...years ago I had a refrigerator that made ice but the tubing that ran from the sink to the fridge would always leak....I eventually did away with it and bought trays or bought ice instead. I have a new fridge but didn't want the icemaker hooked up...I just buy ice
Yeah.. That's a common problem either with the hookup on the fridge or that little wall spigot.
more storage that way!
I have a Bespoke for 2 years. Beverage center and flex drawer. It's been fantastic.
@@rolig3518 nice... That's the model I have for my studio... Will be reviewing that one soon. What colors did you do for your panels?
@@JoesPhenomenal Thanks! That’s really reassuring to know.
@@warrenchu6319 I feel the same... I was sweatin' for the first several weeks expecting my ice maker to break or something. Ha ha
Downside... flex drawer is soft freeze only at it's coldest, right? Other brands go full cold freeze.
Yeah.. That was a little bit of a bummer to me too.
Im a big fan of the water pitcher. I drink a lot of water, so being able to reliably have chilled water is great. I'll often take the pitcher and a glass with me to the living room and drink a lot more water without the extra "refill" trips :)
Yeah.. Love the auto pitcher... My last fridge I used to keep a pitcher in there for the same reason.. Saves a ton of space with it in there already.
What a great review thank you.
You bet. Glad you liked it.

Wonder if there is a refrigerant leak or something. Had it been solid up. Until Now?
You seem to be struggling with the freezer drawer on top. Is that on wheels or do I hear friction as it slides over the bottom drawer?
@CostalSalsa you're very welcome.
So how does the water auto fill? You need a waterline connected somewhere installed by a pro?
If you have a line aleady for your ice maker, it just uses that. There's a switch in the door that gets depressed when you put in the pitcher so it will fill it when it's there. There's also a sensor to determine when it's full as well. It pretty convenient.
Thank You - this was a complete review - very well done
Thanks for checking it out! Glad it was helpful.
Can you use one of the ice trays for frozen food? Ie turn one side of ice maker off.
The controls in the app just have a slider for "ice maker". So I don't think you can control them individually....unless you unhooked one, which I'm not sure how that would effect the other ice maker.

The beverage center is great.

Ahhh genius
Love the looks & space of the Samsung Bespoke, just that I've been burned too many times with Samsung
So I Went GE Profile which looks almost as good with almost as much space but it ain't top dog in at least those metrics, & apparently all the reliability awards LG has is for not breaking in the first year, like seriously when did the bar get lowered so close to the floor, though LG does compete closer with looks & size, but I prioritised engineering
At least I'll have peace of mind knowing the ice maker is in the low freezer with a sealed top as it should, has it's own separate dry evaporator circuit, uses XWFE filtered water and has it's upper walls further buffered by another chilled meat storage section above, along with diagnostics, & commands, to for example manually run the defrosters for added piece of mind, notice I'm not really expecting anything other than the ice maker to need engineering, since I bought a rebadged 4.4K Café, meaning I can switch up the looks and have the reliability
Realistically though having talked with the experts most fridges these days are made to fail after 5 years if not sooner, still GE's Profile seems to be well regarded with reliability just usually of of people's price, so I'm hoping for ten years like units of old out of this $4,000.00USD absolute unit, thank heavens for Black Friday sales though NGL
Yeah the new Bespoke are definitely a response to their earlier issues, so some technicians are thinking there is some potential for reliability, though it is missing the defroster & does seemingly have an ice spillage problem, but I do think Samsung at least covered their base with duel evaporator party of it, but only time can tell
I have yet to plug up my GE Profile but I hear that with the app I can configure what times to run more efficient, it'll time the glassed defrosters to come on off peak hours which are the most power intensive part, though I already expect efficiency seeing how it gives up a cube or two just for extra insulation for the freezer section, and though I am happy especially with it's fantastic looks inside, boy do I wish it looked as good outside as the Samsung does!
@ChroniclesofKToyoda The GE profiles are pretty fantastic though... I think the Profile line is still manufactured in the USA as well. I know they moved a lot of their operation to China when they were sold a while back unfortunately.
@@JoesPhenomenal hopefully mines is too, think it might be, IK they sometimes don't even mention origin, which is a missed opportunity, because it can be a deciding factor for some
I'm hoping I can find a local GE rep' I can talk to, there's a little bit of extra shelving & such I'd like to get thru a real person that's truly connected
If you closely at the serial number label inside the fridge, you can see where it was manufactured. It will either say so in plain English, or it will be a letter attachment in the model number
My auto fill is not working, I had installed yesterday.
@@JerrieCooper-g4f did you install the phone app? If so, go in there and check the settings. By default, it's set to OFF. I had the same issue. Ha ha

Good answer!
I've heard bad things about the off brand filters though 😬
@@caffeinated.possum Thanks! We ended up going with a simple style Frigidaire. Too worried about all the bells & whistles with these fancier ones.
@Caffeinated_possum I have always used the home depot hdx ones and it's worked out for me. You got a point though if the internal pressure is different.
@sco222 sometimes that's the way to go. That's a good brand, and less cute features usually means less problems too.
Our second Samsung Bespoke 4 door FLEX died. 15 months old.
Well that's not good. What went wrong with it? Same issue? We have 2 of them here, but they're both still doing ok.
Agreed! However, it's a french with bottom freezer. Controls are all digital. Heck, it's even white, which apparently costs extra now. Lol
Where does the water come from?
The water comes from the hookup for the ice maker. This doesn't have a water dispenser that you hold you cup up to. It just routes that inside to the pitcher instead.
I’m sold
Did you ever have an issue with keeping the doors open without them closing by themselves?
I haven't. They stay put pretty well for me but I made sure to level the fridge really well when I rolled it in... Maybe that helped?
ya but does it have a linear compressor?
Linear? Unfortunately no... As far as I know I think only LG and Kenmore have those right now?

how much space is there between the left side of the refrigerator and the wall? is there a minimum space needed just to open the door?
I have a 3" gap from the side of the fridge to the wall, and it's just enough to allow that left door to open 90 degrees so I don't have any problems accessing anything. Not having a handle on the outside really helps that.
@@JoesPhenomenal do you think 2" gap will be enough to open a door without a handle?
