I was in the same boat. My Kenmore with LG compressor died at 3.5 years. But I convinced myself to buy an LG to replace it. I just added $300 for an AllState 5 year complete insurance policy. LG has 7 repair locations in my area.

LOL I like your thought process, we only live once!!! I'm about to buy one now on Black Friday at Lowes, $2600 and it comes with a small 6-cb ft fridge/freezer on the side, in case the big one broke LOL

Do you know if this model comed with uv nano tech? The less expensive 27 cubic feet comes with it on the dispenser it cleans bacteria and stuff but on this model which I think is newer and more expensive it doesnt mention it can you please confirm or tell me which models of the new gen come with that?

This refrigerator shown in the video does not have UV technology. The current US model that does have this technology are LRSOS2706S, LRSOS2706D, LRSDS2706S LRSDS2706D .

Trying to save you some money here pal. Do not, ever buy LG or Samsung brands especially for fridge. This is my personal experiences and advice from many other kitchen techs. SS and LG dont know how to make good compressor especially for things that run 24/7, once they break, have fun with spending that money and waiting time for the parts

The major hurdle is finding someone in your area to service. You can check if you have service in your area on the manufactures website.

This refrigerator is nice and I am very impressed but if you are looking for the manual there are any. So if you don’t have a smartphone or download then your out of luck.
