I had tons of fun learning how to use my new BOSS RC-300 and BOSS FS-6 Switch Pedal with MJ's The Way You Make Me Feel. With an added channel to record, Undo/Redo switch pedal (alas, with a 2 second delay), and an FX pedal (pitch down effect for bass) I could pretty much have as much fun as I wanted! This is what loopers were made for. This has been one of my favorite videos for the past 11 years.
11 years after, still as amazing as the first time I watched this.
This is essentially how MJ built a lot of his rhythm tracks. His voice was an instrument. If you listen to most anything he's recorded, there is some form of beatbox/vocal rhythm in there somewhere.

Hi, just wanted tho say thanks for this video. Since we found it it has been the best way to make our baby girl (5 months old) go to sleep her nap. It doesn't matter how upset she might be, as soon as she hears it she relax.

This was my introduction to kawehi. I swear I've watched this at least one hundred times!! I thought she will be someone great at covers. When I saw anthem I realized she's a very talented and real artist,a great songwriter. She reminds me of a young Todd rundgren,very original and Marches to her drummer. This was the 1st video of hers that I saw ( back in Aug. ).....and I don't think I even noticed the dogs until the 4th or 5th viewing. She's scheduled to appear up in Portland, OR on Feb. 26th. I'm planning on a 9 hour drive to Albany around the 15th to visit some friends. It's only another 70 miles to Portland from there.

This video is such a class. One of the early ones that made me want to start lopping. I rewatched this so many times when I first got my boss rc 300 to try to figure out her build and was so lost. Very cool to rewatch years later and be able to immediately be able to recognize her build setup.

The technology this generation makes music so much fun. It can push boundaries. My son has done this same thing with his. But I’m glad that all of my kids were still interested in playing multiple instruments. Because you really can work with a wide range of artists in the industry.
Two of my keiki have played with Lady Gaga, Talylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves. My eldest has played on tour with ELO, ELTON John and the Synphonica tour with George Michael.
But my youngest four have had fun all the cool gadgets ESPECIALLY stuff like the Loop pedals.
