- Has someone ever brought you down? Made you question your worth? When I wrote this song, I was sick of people treating me like some silly woman. I needed a Fight Song - and not a lame one telling me that I'm a good person and to be positive - I'm talking about an I-Am-Woman-Hear-Me-Roar kind of Fight Song. A song I could use to psych myself up, to remind myself that I'm here, I'm strong as hell, and I'm not going anywhere, yo!! Of course I wrote it for me originally, so there were lots of cussing:). But I hope you can use it for yourself - no matter what gender or race or how much money you have in your bank account - be your own fucking hurricane!!!

Yea, we don't get many Mexicans in Scotland. I've only ever met one and the only thing I can remember him telling me was that he was educated by nuns called the Sisters of Mercy ... who regularly beat the crap out of him. I don't know if they used duct tape or not.
I have no idea either. Duct tape has to be one of the most useful inventions ever though. Did you know that you can even use it as a wart remover? Kawehi's is by far the most musically creative usage I've seen.

@@shamsshaikh2887 Oh that's where this is? Wow, I have only been to Kansas once, but that's the town I stayed in. Now that I look again, that street looks vaguely familiar. Not sure if it might be the one me and my girlfriend-at-the-time visited a comic book store on.
The New York Times article on "Great Covers of 90s Songs" is what made me aware of Kawehi. Unlike most of the other songs on that list, she's one of the few artists whose original music I like even more than the covers. Kawehi is a great lyricist with an excellent year for melody and creating wonderfully hooky pop music with excellent lyrical content. She rises above and beyond the viral covers that are helping to make her famous. I hope more people turn their attention to her original music as a result of the exposure that comes from the covers, because she is amazing.
Kawehi, you are truly an incredible artist. Please upload more often!

if you turn it up at the beginning of the video, headphones will help, you can hear someone (im guessing the camera woman) saying something along the lines of "I'm rolling you huge bitch" and i think her smile at the beginning of the video is in response to that
