Vinh you are amazing. I have just had my Cambridge physics interview and I used all the tips I could find from you. It went great, I tried to use all my body language and spoke with volume and adopted a curious mindset. No umms, no ahhs, and I asked the interviewers for time to think and collect my thoughts.
I felt so confident when I left, thanks to you! ;)

We call it the rule of Qooloo Qawlan Sadeeda, from Al- Quran [33:70] meaning,
"Say what is right/true. (Say it directly)"
    Or
    "Say words of appropriate justice".

Vihn! when you told about your second method "learn to walk away gracefully". Immediately I thought about the verse of the Quran (25:63) "When the Ignorant addresses them they walk away gracefully or peacefully". I was absolutely fascinated and stunned by this. It's so amazing that you were able to pick on that!

I have been watching your videos a lot lately and I have been applying little-by-little your advice whenever I host an event in our school. And boy did it made me more confident when talking around with people. Even when I am talking to those that are above me such as teachers, admin staff, even with the top management of our school - I feel more calm compared to before. You're doing great! Your videos are life-changing and I am a testament of that.

You can't help an angry person, that's ego. Anger searches for other hosts to control and destroy.

    I understood.
Step one: deaccelerate the argument by matching their energy.
If it's work then ok or not then try to be clam during conversation.
If nothing works, that's mean you don't know them well
Step two: make a statement and leave 🙂
And for stranger don't waste your time or their. 🙃
Well I didn't mean to match the bad energy 😂❤

The part about asking people directly if they wanted you to tone-match or not made me laugh as that’s something I might do hahaha!
It’s also worth noting, that if you grew up around unstable adults -you might have a great sense of how to de-escalate conflict in this way, but that doesn’t necessarily translate into being a good communicator 😞

    Takeaways:
    1. Matching and mirroring
    2. Evaluate the context of the interaction
    3. Have situational awareness
    4. We need to know the other person the best we can
    5. Only way to know how to communicate best with a person is trial and error
    6. LEAVE to escalate the situation

Question for everyone at the forty eight second mark, am I the only one that accidentally picks up accents from people?Because i've lived all over the place and then they think that i'm making fun of them. And the reality is now, if I just hang out with you and talk to you for more than four hours, i'm probably going to pick up your accent. Sometimes people get angry, but then I have to explain it like no I grew up in south Florida. All my friends were Hispanic. So when I was 4I had a Hispanic accent. But then eventually I moved to an area where there was a little bunch of European people, and so hang out with them all the time, I eventually picked up a British accent. And so on and so forth.

I do that too. I try to be aware of it so I don't just automatically switch, but it does happen. I think it's an unconscious way to connect to the other person. I grew up in New York so I get it lol.

I have 1 question, is there something an autistic person can do to get better at recognizing what is fueling the other person in that kind of situations? Because sometimes people are talking to me and I'm thinking they are being sarcastic but they are actually talking the truth and I try to respond as everything they said was a sarcasm and as you can imagine it doesn't go well

Aside from learning by observing people and studying body language. Just ask them? Explain you suck at recognizing tone. If done too often it can tire people out to explain themselves over and over. Choose your battles.
