You are correct that the ends are "flipped;" The funky tops on the spark plug side (in your case) is because there's a retainer plate on a stock HEI that keeps the wires from popping off. Looks good by the way. In your case it makes sense though as you don't use the retainer plate and those ends look better as you said. The only caveat is that at least on my small cap (OEM TBI/TPI style) distributor one end was too long so it would push the terminals off the cap. YMMV of course.
Looks Great!
Custom wires are the only way to go, also best time to use boot protectors. MSD makes a great wire, cant wait to here that engine run friend. Also I run my boots with the MSD logo on the plug, but I believe you changed them around. You have been putting in a lot of wrench time, thank you for sharing.
That looks clean. Awesome job.
I use the 8.5 MSD wire with NGK plugs on my 95Z28 Camaro. Good wires no problems. Nice and clean engine btw.👍
Coming together. Looking good...
That engine bay looks better and better the further it comes along
Hey Mossman . what is the kit or manufacture for the Aliminum Wire loom bracket
Just a Ford guy chiming in...sure is easier to measure and cut the length precisely when the dizzy is right up front.
Hey mossman 381, where did you get the wire holders from? You get it all done and running?
the wires gothe other way.and theres a cap for the wires on rhw distributor. but it realy dont matter the way you have it is fine.
Where did you get the holders for the wires?
