#Bloodborne #Ending
About the game:
Bloodborne is a 2015 action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. Bloodborne follows the player's character, a Hunter, through the decrepit Gothic, Victorian-era-inspired city of Yharnam, whose inhabitants are afflicted with a blood-borne disease. Attempting to find the source of the plague, the player's character unravels the city's mysteries while fighting beasts and cosmic beings.
The game is played from a third-person perspective. Players control a customizable protagonist, and the gameplay is focused on strategic weapons-based combat and exploration. Players battle varied enemies while using items such as swords and firearms, exploring different locations, interacting with non-player characters, and unravelling the city's mysteries. Bloodborne began development in 2012 under the working title of Project Beast. Bearing many similarities to the Souls series of games by the same developer and director, Bloodborne was inspired by the literary works of authors H. P. Lovecraft and Bram Stoker and the architectural design of real-world locations in countries such as Romania, the Czech Republic and Scotland.
Bloodborne was released in March 2015 and received critical acclaim, with praise directed at its gameplay, particularly its high difficulty level, atmosphere, sound design, Lovecraftian themes, and interconnected world design. Some criticism was directed at its technical performance at launch, which was improved with post-release updates. An expansion adding additional content, The Old Hunters, was released in November 2015. By the end of 2015, the game had sold over two million copies worldwide. Bloodborne won several awards and has been cited as one of the greatest video games ever made. Some related media and adaptations have also been released, including a card game, board game and comic book series. shoutout wikipedia lol - Ігри
Boy oh boy do I have even more to say lol… While editing the video and really thinking about the 3 endings I gotta say a couple things that I didn’t mention in the video out of pure euphoria and shock lol.
The squid ending: What an insane way to go, the way I see it is that by killing the great one we now became one and we’re now in control of everything? perhaps also the doll holding me like that… bruh… a dream come true lol. Gonna be thinking about this one for quite a while, find it very sad that after all that we are now just a tiny octopus makes me feel very uneasy lol
The sacrifice ending: who THE HELL is chopping up onions in here? naw but for real what a sentimental ending and the CINEMATOGRAPHY or whatever you call that in gaming. Man, I was blown away. A couple of things tho. Did I just go back to square one like is the hunt now back on cuz if so that kinda takes away from it for me lmao but still nonetheless I think it’s my favourite ending, especially with that final shot of the doll mourning… my god
Wheelie ending… now this is the one that completely went over my head and I don’t know how I didn’t speak more on it while filming lol. This right here is crazy… you’re telling me that we are now THE guy, we are now in charge of the dream? Meaning that what Gehrman was going through will be happening to us and other hunters will now have to face us or get chopped by me? Idk I may be super wrong here but this ending is goated, also I just get to kick it with the doll 24/7 now? C'mon, what more can you ask for?
Literally typing while on the toilet, TMI? whatever… This is one the best games I’ve ever played if not THE best and I can’t thank the developers and everyone who worked on this enough, absolute geniuses!! Thanks for coming to my TED talk and this won’t be the last time you see Bloodborne on the channel. Much love ❤
1 sacrificing yoursel awakes you, you won’t repeat, in fact if you go ng+ the doll sometimes cries at your old character tomb.
I have the Translated OST of Gherman If you want it in my channel
So excited for DS1!
I do my best writing on the toilet, so no judgment here.
Also, this playthrough has been awesome! Thanks for all of it, brother!
I think you got that first one right, we basically become a great one.
"Dear oh dear, what was it? The hunt, the blood, or the horrible dream?"
It was the doll
🤣
As for lore videos, Vaati’s complete bloodborne lore video is the absolute best place to start.
ua-cam.com/video/wjWOy6ioVHI/v-deo.html the lore for the vanilla game
ua-cam.com/video/DRx6CD_WmbQ/v-deo.html this is part 1 of dlc lore
ua-cam.com/video/OqqrYNdIBCM/v-deo.html the part 2 of dlc lore
ua-cam.com/video/E-5HoAf9G6Q/v-deo.html and part 3 and all these are the main stories, the quest line characters like Alfred the vile blood hunter can also watch but those 4 are the main ones
The full 32 minutes one at that, insane video!
The realization that Gehrman's OST is not a epic badass score like all the other bosses but a sad desperate one. One of the best moments in all Bloodborne.
when the moon presence does the almost one shot attack it stands still as if it’s confused because that specific attack would have instantly killed a normal hunter but you acquired an insane amount of knowledge throughout the game and this let you became stronger than all the nightmares you faced. you were freed from all the illusions
It also gives you a huge window to put Bloodborne's unique mechanic to use and steal back all your life by going wild on the boss.
@@Taliesin_ yeah however makes it to ez instead of letting her attack you after that, tbh she should've had more HP.
yep, basically for the moment you become "immortal" and have 1hp, because the attack should kill you, but with the umbilical cords you sidestep death momentarily. you also get double hp regen rally, for the moments that Moon Presence stays still after, so you gain it back quickly if you're aggressive and still go after it.
What is interesting is in the end you ended up freeing Gehrman from the dream, if you remember him sleeping he wished to be rid of the dream and nightmares.
Best OST in Soulsborne history. Hands down.
What a journey my guy. Enjoyed every second of it.
Can't wait for what's to come.
"𝕿𝖍𝖊 𝖓𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙, 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖉𝖗𝖊𝖆𝖒, 𝖜𝖊𝖗𝖊 𝖑𝖔𝖓𝖌..."
💯🤜🤛💯
I have the Translated OST in my channel if you would like to see it
Best piece since John William’s “Across the Stars”
I’ve heard people say that the flute player in Lyendell in Elden Ring is playing Gehrman’s theme. I don’t hear it.
@@shakycam3 I hear it's the merchants'.
my favorite game of all time sure, i intend to get a hunters brand tattoo in years from now
He’s trying to save you. He gave everything he had to saving you from this nightmare. Such a tragic character
AINT NO WAY DUDE HAS THE DOLL ON SCREENSAVER BRO 💀💀💀. I feel it tho😢
💀 i meant to cut that out of the video 😳
So bittersweet to see this series end, but it was amazing from start to finish!
Wow that shot of Gehrman in front of the moon at 13:01 was absolutely stunning
Gehrman's score is my favorite. It's such a unique boss battle thematically. It's not heroic, it's desperate and sad. Loved watching your playthrough.
This has to be THE BEST Bloodborne playthrough ever, you just appreciated every aspect of the game and you experience it at its full potential, every boss, every soundtrack and his gameplay. I found you channel searching for newcomers to the Soulsborne games because of Elden Ring, and oh boy, you just satisfied perfectly my search lol your personality and reactions were super entertaining, it was like experience this game again for the first time, my favourite game of all time
You just made my night dude thank you for sharing this
so happy to have witnessed your experience of this amazing game!
Been here since the beginning of the bloodborne series and holy crap did I enjoy it. I've been pushing aside ds1 and DS2 videos until I play them but your videos are an exception. Can't wait to experience it with you 😁. Also I've noticed how much you've grown, good job man I feel like this is just the beginning
Probably said by now but Vaatividya hs some of the best lore videos on UA-cam. Also if you look closely you can see the Garhman's right leg is actually a prosthetic which implies that he lost it during a hunt.
The Brother’s Code has a long single Bloodborne video that would be easier to react to than 20 different videos by Vaati IMO. Love vaati but brother’s code would be a better choice
He had it amputated to prevent turning into a beast
He didn't really loose it.
It's just that it was believed back then that the devil resides in the right leg, a d soke fools were gullible and superstitious enough to believe that lol
He's not faking, he's missing a foot. Gehrman is just that good
Mati, thanks for a fun playthrough, bro! 👍DS1 is gonna be rad. I'm stoked for it!
As for lore vids, I can't think of anyone better than Vaati.
A game design choice that doesn't get enough recognition is the fact that they don't give out the lore for free. They give us just enough to peak our interest, knowing that we will put in work and invest time later to figure out exactly what's going on in the game. They understand that players do not appreciate what they don't work for. Your mind will be blown away if you invest a few hours into understanding the lore. Most of us only get a surface level of understanding our first playthrough. They want us to invest time so that we enjoy it so much more once we understand it.
I watched all of Elden Ring as it came out after I found you and caught up, and now all of Bloodborne from the first episode. I had a crazy good time with both, because I love these games too, and recommend Bloodborne to anyone that's played Dark Souls and/or Elden ring, and watching you get used to this gameplay was in and of itself, a rollercoaster of emotions. You're hella relatable so we get to project the memories of our first times playing them on to you, and its definitely fun picking out the differences between my reactions and your own just because of our individual natures. It's become a very fun time in my day. Cant wait for more content man, keep going
It was a long journey from the begging to the end.
I started watching you with the first episode just to know how bloodborne was and finally became extremely addictive to your videos as each one of the videos were extremely entertaining.
It was fun until it lasted.
Though I’ll keep watching you as you are one of my favorites UA-camr. Can’t wait for the next video!
You’re love for the games you play comes across as genuine and real. I really enjoy watching your channel
Let’s go!
On my 3rd playthrough for the Platinum, submitting to Gherman and waking up from the dream was such an amazing ending. Definitely recommend that ending on the finale playthrough. Miss this game so much.
Yea that's how I did
What a ride! Might be my favorite Bloodborne playthrough ever. You're a very likable fellow and your reactions are so genuine and endearing . So happy your channel is gaining traction. Very well deserved! : )
Loved this series, can’t wait for lore reactions and chalice dungeons. Keep it coming!
Loved the whole play through, it was a blast watching you go through the game as one of my absolute favorite games. Fun fact the merchants in Elden Ring that play on their violins are actually playing the music from the fight with Gehrman
Vaatividya is pretty much the gold standard for FROMsoft lore videos. Though you'll find more pointed and specific lore videos from Hawkshaw. If it hasn't been mentioned yet The Brothers Code has done a more recent story explanation for Bloodborne but that is a longer video and so you may need to do multiple parts for that video (though I don't think any of us would be too displeased!)
9:33 I love how PERFECTLY that synced with the music… bloodborne is game of the century for me ❤
One of my favorite playthroughs of all time. Well done, man. I look forward to diving into more of your stuff
It was such a pleasure watching you experience Bloodborne for the first time. I appreciate the enthusiasm and love that you have which is growing before our eyes. We all know that feeling of the first time and theres nothing like it in gaming. Your charisma and personality make it even better. So glad to have found this channel and cant wait to see more! You're awesome dude!
Thank you for the amazing journey Matias. It was a pleasure to see you go through it! Rock on!
Dude, i am down for the ride. It was a blast watching you play and get consumed by this game in a way. I felt just like you when i finished it this year in a very hard time in my life, helping me in a special way (and your videos aswell made some darker days more enjoyable). Bloodborne became an instant all time favorite and a special kind of love for this game grew in me. You just wanna keep going and learn more about all whats happening. And it challenged your fears or at least i was so on edge most of the time and needed to get it togther.
Damn, i am on a run. What else to say. I am stocked for the lore reaction and DS1.
The Hunt never ends.
I've watched from the beginning, and it's been extremely fun and entertaining. I can't wait to watch your Dark Souls videos.
Thanky you for playing this Masterpiece.its been a pleasure to watch your playthrough.and good luck on your other soulsborne games.
Sorry for how long this'll be. But I've gone back and watched both of your series on Elden Ring and now Bloodborne after I first discovered your channel in the middle of your Dark Souls 1 playthrough and you've honestly become one of my favorite channels to watch when it comes to your first time playing these games. I love how you go out of your way to explore every area as much as possible and read all the item descriptions, since most of the time people will skip out on those and just speed through the game, but watching you play these games reminds me of my first playthrough with each of them in a way.
Bloodborne is my personal favorite FromSoft game and one of my favorite games of all-time, it got me through a pretty rough period in my life back when I first played it in 2017, and so it mans a lot to me personally so seeing how much you appreciate it is really sweet! I couldn't agree more with what you said about the community, the Soulsborne fandom gets a bad rap because of suff like the "Git gud" meme and all that, but they're one of the most welcoming and helpful communities in gaming in my opinion, and I think that's the case because all of us were once new players who were playing these games blind just like you, not knowing where to go or what to do, and other veterans helped us out through our playthroughs. I think because of that, we like to help other new players with their first experiences with these games too. Whether its through writing helpful messages, leaving summon signs to help others with bosses they may be struggling with, or through giving helpful advice to those who ask like tips for builds or advice on what weapons to use in a "pay it forward" kind of way.
Anyways sorry again with how long this is, and idk if you'll even see this, but TL;DR I'm glad I discovered your channel, I'm glad you've become a fan of these games like I and so many others have, and I'm excited to see you playthrough the rest of the Soulsborne catalogue! Now "farewell good Hunter, may you find your worth in the waking world"
Man, what a journey. As with every first time Bloodborne playthrough I watch, I feel so happy that I'm able to kind of re-experience my favourite game for the first time again, especially seeing how everyone plays it a bit differently, with a different weapon etc.
If you're wanting suggestions for Bloodborne lore videos then VaatiVidya is the obvious go-to soulsborne lore guy, but for Bloodborne specifically, I recommend Max0r's Bloodborne video, maybe not the most serious lore discussion but well worth a watch especially as a way to decompress and relax after playing this incredible game.
Even if the Bloodborne series is ending you earned a lifelong sub with your infectiously funny and positive vibes and commentary, can't wait for DS1!
So glad to have been here for this.Hope you enjoyed it as much as i did.Thank-you
Haven't watched it yet, but just wanna say: I'm very happy i found your channel bro! You are very special and fun to watch. Stay as you are.
I don’t see very many content creators absolutely hit it out of the park as much as you do but you’re definitely one of the best I’ve been able to see in a long time. Granted I’ve known that for a while but I wanted you to be able to read it. Great job finishing the game and I really like how you showed all of the endings, even though I’ve seen them all before lol. I recently just beat DS1 but as I’ve probably said before, my first souls game was DS3 and I’m really happy you’re playing the first one before that one. I think DS3 is a masterpiece whether or not you play DS1 first but you’ll get a lot more out of the references and motifs than I did my first time around. Anywho I’m so freaking hyped to see you grow and learn how to get better in your own way. I’ll leave ya with a quote like I did before you played this game,
“Stay safe friend, don’t you dare go hollow”
What an awesome journey this was Mati. I'm glad youtube put you on my recommendations. Looking forward to the Dark souls adventure.
I'm kinda sad that this series has ended cuz I found your channel with it but it was fun experience. It was also my first time interacting with a UA-camr playing this game cuz it's old by now. Thank you for making a great series and I will be waiting for your next uploads l. Love ya keep it up ❤️
Bloodborne by Max0r is a really fun video you can watch and appreciate now that you've finished the game.
Loved your genuine appreciation for a masterpiece so dear to may of us and there is still a lot to discover!
Having the chance, the chalice dungeons are a magnificent and challenging aspect of the game very much worthy of being experienced
Loved your work
Keep it up!💪
I always watch your videos right to the very end Mati, looking forward to the merch!
Damn...already....
What a journey it was! I discovered your channel at the beginning of your bloodborne series, and even if I already knew all the stuff, I stay and was hyped for each episodes!!!
And rather to see you reacting just to the cutscenes, I was hooked up to stay on my bed and watch all of the episodes. I literally discovere the beauty of mensis castle and the hunter nightmare.🏰
I cannot wait for the next souls!
Love from France❤️🇫🇷
The dungeons are something I would really like to see you play through because there's so much lore buried in there and the bosses are challenging and fun
awesome series man, loved re-experiencing Bloodborne with a fresh set of eyes, it was really great! Looking forward to future vids :)
Congrats Mati!! Sad it's over but super excited for your Dark Souls journey! Loving everything you do bro, here for the long run
About lore and all of that, most people recommend vaatividya or something like this, his voice and interpretations are on point
awesome series dude ! been binge watching them all and its great to see someone discover all the great parts of a game i fell in love with :)
looking foward to the next games ! / lore reactions :o
You def became a better Hunter through your journey and that is clearly visible at this fight, it was nice seeing that " Tonight Gerhman joins the hunt " and " May you fin your worth in the waken world " still are one of the most epic moments em video games bro, DS1 is gonna be amazing.
I found your channel through searching for Bloodborne playthrough. Been with ya since ep 1. Looking forward to Dark Souls boiiiii
Gonna have to wait till I'm off work to fully enjoy this. Super bittersweet moment watching this series end but I can't wait for what's next man!
Another great vid bro, definitely my favorite gaming channel to watch these days, i love the vibe! you killed this one!!!!
Your merch needs to include a t-shirt that says "Am I Recording"!
You ABSOLUTELY ARE that entertaining!!! :D ;)) we love you too Mati!
Bro, I ran across your channel as ‘recommended’ as soon as you started playing Bloodborne, and I subscibed immidiately. I’m glad I was with you on your journey through Yarnham, and I’m excited for all that’s to come! Keep up the good work my man! Top quality, and very entertaining stuff! Time to binge your Elden Ring journey in the meantime 😉

Thanks for taking us with you for this journey! Can’t wait for more adventures bro!
Vaati is the og SoulsLore Maestro, definitely check him out!
Real glad I clicked the first bloodborne video when it showed up, this has been a pleasure to watch, can't wait for more of the souls series to come, especially the lore videos, dunno if you have any in particular planned or had some recommended vaatividya has some good ones for pretty much all the souls games

Can't wait to see you react to lore videos. And very excited for the next playthrough! 😃
loved seeing you experience this masterpiece, cannot wait to see you start the next journey in dark souls!
We appreciate you too!! Thank you for a wonderful series, loved watching it. Definitely my favorite ending too, so beautifully sad.
Great series, man! Glad you loved the game! Onwards to the next!
Gehrman is a great final boss for the story, two men fighting to save each other from en eterenity trapped in the dream.
I don’t know if anyone has pointed this out, but if you go back and listen to the music the merchants are playing in Elden Ring, it’s Gehrman’s Theme
sad to see this series go but what a great time it was! i'll be watching if you ever replay it on the channel but excited for your ds1 playthrough in the meantime :)) and vaati's lore videos are the way to go. i believe he has one that's just the entire story of bloodborne explained.
GG man can't wait for the next one
Beautiful playthrough. Good job man.
Great way to spend a friday evening bro. watching matias the goat while eating JJ
Love the videos man. You're a legend.
What a great adventure . I've enjoyed every second of your pain ! and joy throughout this playthrough. So a huge thank you and looking forward to DS1. As someone already commented Vaatividya's lore videos are really excellent.
Such an amazing run! Thanks for the content:)
The Tragedy of Gherman, The First Hunter is one lore video you should watch.
Hey man, been here since the Souls virgin plays Elden ring. I tested up at the last Elden ring and I’m tearing up now. What a fire fire fire series. I just beat dS1 for the first time last month and I’m so stoked to see you play it!!! It’s been a journey
I've loved your bloodborne experience man! Can't wait for dark souls!
Man, can’t believe the night is already over. Great playthrough Mati, it was a lot of fun to watch. Can’t wait for the next journey into Dark Souls 1
Been here since the beginning much love man
I just want to say
Thank you for taking us with you on this exciting journey.
Bloodborne is not just a game, it is simply a masterpiece
Congrats my dude
Bloodbourne was my first fromsoft game and it still is my fav game of all time!
Love your videos man
Can’t wait to watch the DSR journey
Cheers 🍻 Fear the old Blood!
Now it’s time to Praise the sun!🙌
Congratulations, man!! You did great! Also yeah, you figured out the meaning of the ending right during editing.
I wouldn't worry about the other games not measuring up to BB. I personally feel all the other games do at least something better than the others that make them loveable for their own reasons. I'm BEYOND excited for your playthrough of DSR since I hold it in equally as high regard as BB even if the mechanics of later games are better. Just as an experience, DS1 is amazing in my eyes. Can't wait to see you get into that and continue RE2R.
At the end of the adventure, been here since day one and appreciate every upload.
Glad to have watched you play this man. Like you Elden Ring was my first soulborne game and funny enough bloodborne and dark souls 1 are my second and third. Cant wait to watch you play more man, you're hella chilled. It's breathe of fresh air for real.
Very excited for the new series, I voted ds1 cause u need to go that one first but I'm waiting for ds2 cause it was my first souls and sheeshl I'm excited! Long time I felt this excitement for a youtuber to upload new videos, you really make my day when you upload man, thanks for everything
Congrats my dude, one of the best all encompassing lore videos is Vaati's for the overarching storyline, then search for specific bosses or npcs you want to get deeper dives on, there are also really cool "lorethroughs" (how people/the channels like moonlit butterfly makes for dark souls) that are these cinematic in depth playthrough videos with lore edits over the top, so its not just a wall of dialogue and is presented as you would learn it in the game if you combed through everything
Grats on finishing BB, awesome playthrough! Can't wait for whatever's next!
The submit ending frees you from the dream, but the Doll and Gehrman are still trapped in the dream under control of the Moon Presence. Refuse without the cords frees Gehrman, but you take his place in the dream controlled by the Moon Presence. Refuse with the cords frees Gehrman and destroys the Moon Presence. With the insight the cords give you succeed where Byrgenwerth and the Holy Church of the Good Blood failed and ascend to the status of a Great One. Turns out Master Willem was correct on the path to ascension and Laurence was wrong.
Congratz on beating the game and the success it has done to ur channel mate. well played :D
Mati! Congrats on finishing another incredible series. You can feel the love you have for this game coming through all the way. So excited to see you walk through DS1 next. 10k is around the corner, man.
Also #merchgang
Loved the journey, man! Awesome content!
What a journey, man, glad yo have seen that with you, I'm a bit sad that we're not getting Sekiro next, but I suppose DS1 is gonna be a great series too, that's gonna bring back some old memories, more than 10 years ago!
Awesome content, keep it up and best wishes!
Cheers
hey mat awesome playthrough! im loving every sec of it. if u want more bloodborne do the chalice dungeon`s. 60% of the enemies and bosses are in there! some really hard ones at that!! i hope u do them at some point. much love! ❤
Glad to see you come so far, much love brother. ❤
Can't wait for you to do the reaction to the lore videos! I've watched plenty of those myself but I would love to see your reaction to them
Pretty much all lore videos from Vaatividya are excellent although can be a bit overwhelming. Especially "prepare to cry" videos highlight the tragic stories of Bloodborne NPCs even more
I just discovered your channel buddy and I love it ❤ I wish I could play Bloodborne for the first time again. I already finished it at least 10 time fr and happy to know that a lot of people still discovering this master piece 🔥 new sub btw
haha without a doubt this game is a cinematic work that stays in your mind for the rest of your life. and having enjoyed it with you was a unique experience, thx Matias
