With our epoxy coated circuit boards, you can pretty much install and never have to think about changing your taillights again! @@ragingkajun86 George, when we installed these lights Rapid Fire wasn't available, so we didn't show it in this video. Rapid Fire does in fact flash rapidly when the brakes are applied for a split send or so. please call our customer service guys for more info if you need it. 800-977-2767

The screws on mine are T-20 or 15 on the outside and Phillips on the inside .

I added these and even the led flasher and my passenger side only has running and backup..no brakes on either side and only signal on driver side..what ls missing????
I’m also having trouble putting in the socket “5:38”. I push it in and turn it and it’s still loose...

It's astounding how many brain farts said they didn't see the lights demo'd. What I would like to see is after the installation, both lights operating in sequential hazard flashing mode.
I'm particularly biased toward the '73 - '80 body, with emphasis on the '75 model year ¾ ton chassis trucks and barn door Suburbans, mostly because I bought a '75 K20 pickup, standard cab, 350 4bolt and granny 4speed, new from the dealership I worked for at the time. I could change the rotation of the earth in double low range. JK! I did manage to clear a busy intersection of a 5ton work truck and its tandem axle trailer with a BIG backhoe on deck. Made quite a spectacle of ourselves for a moment. The truck was lost to a bad marriage and trying to make a towing company work. My current truck is a '75 C-20 crew cab long bed with a 350 4bolt and granny 4speed. It's semi retired, but still has great potential. Just needs some minor fix-up. I do believe it will be flashing LEDs in the near future.

Might have added a flasher relay during the video. The old one went work. If it does it’s just a matter of time it goes out due to led use.
These will not put any extra load on the flasher by themselves. The only time you need an LED specific flasher is when you convert ALL flashing/blinking lights in the system to LED.
Can you hard wire these in without using the bulb sockets? Installing a 18 circuit Auto Wire wiring kit in my 73 K10.
I have installed these and added the LED flasher because I upgraded all signals to LED. Everything works fine until I turn my headlights on then my rear turn signals flash once and hold steady. Since I have replaced all sockets checked all grounds, replaced the led flasher, and even bought another set of LED tail lights. Same problem exists. If I plug standard bulbs in everything works fine. Any ideas why this is happening?
It's a ground issue, no question about it. LED's run on so little voltage that any minor ground loop problem could potentially light the LED's. If it only happens when the headlights are on, start by checking the ground on the headlamps, then parking lamps and side markers. Also check that your dash cluster has a dedicated ground wire to the chassis or body.
I installed mine but blinkers not operating as it should. do I need to upgrade my flasher?

I have a 1984 Chevy Silverado c10 I would like to convert the head lights and the tail lights to led would u possibly have part numbers for any of that if so it's would help me I can not find it anywhere the part store just sells me a led bulb that heats up my factory lenses for the tail lights

Hooked mine and a 1986 Chevy C10 the running light daytime light portion works when I put my foot on the brake the driver side brake light works the passenger side brake light does not work when I put the vehicle and reverse both reverse lights work when I use the signals the driver side signal works the passenger side signal does not work I have two yellow wires sticking out of these brand new housings with zero instructions as to what these two yellow wires are four or where they might go I have no signal and no brake light from the rear passenger of my truck any help would be great I've emailed the main website and got no response

Do you still need the led flasher relay?
We have found that the only time you need the LED Flasher relay is when you convert ALL the lights to LED (parking, side marker, tail lamp, etc). If any of the lights remain incandescent then the stock type relay will work.

The LED becomes the marker. You just orphan the plug for the marker.

So what's the difference between an led circuit panel and just replacing the 1157 or 1156 bulbs with led bulbs?
The amount of light/lumens that are projected as well as the "fullness" of the illumination in the lens.
On a different subject....I have a 78 Chevy C10 with a big fat chrome step bumper on the back. I want to take it off and install a chrome bumper like is on this truck in the video. Can you give me details of part number and pricing on a rolled chrome bumper like this that will fit my 78?

REALLY wanna grab these! Only concern: I recently purchased some OEM style Klearz clear tail lenses, and initially intended on purchasing these tail lamps to go with them, but I cant tell whether or not with these tail lenses you can remove the LED circuit board to embed on a different set of lenses? Can you folks confirm if the circuit board on these can be transferred to another set of lenses without needing to use a dremel or any such thing?

You would have to do a fair amount of modification to get the lenses separated from the circuit board.

Do this fit on a 1990 Mexican Cheyenne?
Do your tail lamps look like this? If so then they probably are the same. Some trucks built in Mexico and South America use the same lamps as the 1988 US models.

It won't work on the '89 truck, tail lamps are different.

If it’s the old body style they should work. Remember the old body style continued thru 89 I think in 3/4 ton trucks & 91 in 1 tons & suburban

Does the new housing come with the kit or sold separate?
Not sure what you mean by housing, but the kit is 100% complete and you don;t need to purchase anything else to install these.
@@jamesjordan7460 You only need an electronic flasher if you are converting ALL of your lights on that circuit to LED. As long as there are still incandescent bulbs on the system you don't need one.
@@jamesjordan7460 If ALL your lights on the blinker circuit are now LED then yes, 100% you'll need to change the flasher. Otherwise, the problem is being caused by a bad ground that is diverting power to your LED's. Because the LED's take so litter power to light up, it only takes a VERY small amount of power from a poor ground loop to cause what you're describing.
@@jamesjordan7460 If everything works until you turn on the headlights (which also turns on the parking lights) then you have a ground loop issue, probably with one of your parking lights or side markers. Try running a dedicated clean ground wire from the parking light housings directly to a GOOD ground.

Once you convert to LED, the original Side Marker wire becomes an orphan.
