The glass jar with the hole in the bottom is a fly trap. Flys can crawl in any direction but can only fly in straight lines. A mixture of borax, sugar or honey and water is pored into the gully at the bottom of the jar. When the flies land usually at the bottom opening after the luring smell of the water and honey they crawl in and drink the sweet poisonous borax water where they become trapped and can’t fly up or down to escape. It works quite well.
Okay, huge observation. You have some of the most important (in my opinion) traits for crafting. You love to upcycle, you're cost conscious, you're talented, and overwhelmingly patient. Your patience in developing your projects and your patience in responding to comments. You just seem to be a really neat and very kind lady. I'm learning more than crafting techniques from you and I'm grateful. Kudos. Continued blessings, dear.
No, wouldn't that be lovely!!! we would sing all the way home. For those that are a lot younger than me, that was a song Julie Andrews sang I think in the Sound of Music, but it could be Mary Poppins. Anyway, it is a lovely old song and I just could not help but attach it to your response Donna.... hope you don't mind.@@donnabrasher3303

I think the younger as in millennial generation has more inner strength. They are faced with different emotional challenges and some that are timeless. I see them like emotional suffragettes. They will speak up for themselves. This is not a blanket statement because mental health is not one size fits all. I do admire their strength And as a older woman I wish that that spark had been planted in me.
They are whiners who think no one ever experienced challenges before them. They’ve been handed everything by two income parents for far too long! Thanks to working moms.
Would love to know how you price the items you upcycle! I know that prices very depending on where you are at, but it would be a good guide to go by if you could give some examples of what you price things at 😊

Hi
I have a question -- when I do your reverse graphic technique, there are times when there seems to be a remaining edge around the graphic that is visible. I've tried sanding it to feather the edge to make it less noticeable, but it looks like a sticker I've clear-coated over. What causes this, and what am I doing wrong/how to fix?
Thanks!
This usually happens when you put on too much mod podge. It is a thick product and will def show. Also will show more if not on a white background
OK thanks.
So less modpodge especially towards edges.
So when your print things do you print on just regular paper?
Yes
