Can I just come to your house? I promise to sit quietly, with a book and a cup of tea, and just soak in all the atmosphere! You create the world I would like to live in!!
Hi Sherry. 3 years ago I broke both arms when my dog saw a racoon. Down a flight of cement stairs I went. Being an artist like yourself it took most of the year before I was back at it. I began watching your videos then and reached out to you twice. Both times you responded and I felt so special. Well I am still watching and your projects fill me with so much inspiration. I just wanted to wish you a warm merry Christmas and all the best to you and yours.
Love your things you made, the lamp you made into the candlestick look, the nest with the bird and the old book in the lantern and lots of others. I especially like your little tabby kitty adding to the scenery.
The children's chair warmed my heart as it is identical to mine. I still have it, and got it from my Grandma when I was 3 years old and that was 1965. What a treasure for $3.99. I love your channel so much! Thank you Sherry!
With each display i thought, "This is my favorite" then you did another one! Now they're all my favorite. Thank you, Sherry for inspiring us every week.
3:09 when I was a girl my dad would use an old bucket filled with rocks to anchor our Eastern Red Cedar Christmas tree. Your hack brought back memories.
I do not want to repeat the things that everyone has written (i agree with the positive responses). So, You have truly inspired me to think outside of the box. Thank you for being you. Fabulous.
I'm amazed! I'm not too shy to tell you I that I'm certified to teach English Lit I and II along with World Literature. Charles Dickens is one of my favorite authors, and it isn't Christmas until I listen to both Orson Welles's 1939 radio rebroadcast of the Christmas Carol or watch Alastair Sim's 1951 black and white film of the same! Your creation has my bookish vibes going off the radar here! Honestly, I think you should invest in a little cottage and rent it out for the Holidays! You would turn a profit for sure. So "Merry Christmas My Dears! And God bless everyone!" 😍😍😍
Oh my gracious goodness! You are a magician! I can hardly wait until you post a new video as each one is so fantastic! You give me such inspiration. Thank you!
Love it, love it, love it all, especially the fruit in the wreath and the black and gold framed images from a Christmas Carol! You got my mind ticking. Thank you so much for sharing!
I really really really love that fruit on that reef it kind of put in mind about old-fashioned Christmas and that’s what I wanna create in my house old-fashioned Christmas with all the play and fruit decoration because that’s what they had back in the day
You are amazing! If I had bought that tree and found all the parts weren't there, I would have been heart broken! Yet you found a beautiful way to give that baby a new life! It looked fantastic!
I am 9 minutes and 35 seconds in and I just had to pause and come and say "WoW...Sherry...that wreath with the fruit is absolutely stunning!!" You are such a talented lady. Sending all good wishes from the UK. 🎄🍓🍐🍋🍎🍒🎄
Oh, thank you! It didn’t occur to me at the time, but Abe and Dickens were alive during the same time period! I wonder how Mary Todd decorated the White House.
The tophat would be a perfect New Years Eve decoration along with a silver champagne bucket, an empty bottle of champagne, champagne flutes, faux plastic bubbles purchased from Temu, a clock set to midnight, etc.😊❤
I love your home and style. Everyone is so minimalist these days. Your style is so perfect everywhere you look. It is so inviting and unique. I kinda of decorate the same I love to see all my favorite pieces.
Hello Sherry!! I'm not sure how you do it but in every video she hit it out of the park! So thankful for you, your talent and channel. Thanks for sharing your special gifts with us. Hello to Sweet Edgar 😊
WOW Sherri, you’ve made this room and all these thrifted items look AMAZNG. Everything you touch looks amazing anyway. You are so clever and God surely has given you a triple lot of talent. Your house always looks stunning. TFS and have a blessing filled week.
I love everything about this! Totally my taste in decorating. The table with the horse, top hat,🎩 perfection. I could sit in your library and be totally satisfied.
I love the small chair by the tree. I cant resist picking up old children"s chairs when I come across them! They look wonderful holding anything, from a plant to a stack of books. And they are often only a few dollars.
I ❤ Abe, the typewriter vignette, the book nest, the leather horse & table display, the red blanket on the plaid sofa & the whole vibe!! Thank you for reminding me of the spills of velvet ribbon I forget I have (EVERY year)!! 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
WOW! You never disappoint. That tree came out so beautiful!! Everything was outstanding!! When you create it’s more than style, imagination, necessity or ability, they don’t work unless it comes from the heart, and we can all see you have a genuine big beautiful heart!! ❤ and that makes you a very special human being! Thanks for sharing YOU!!
You make me so excited to decorate for christmas!! However, my husband and I have a deal that I won't start on Christmas until after Thanksgiving. 😂😂 I usually start adding SUBTLE touches early, though.
I love what you did with the tiny houses. I'd add cinnamon sticks to the teacup instead of, or in addition to, the pinecones. My other top favorites are the thermos display, the child's chair, the typewriter, and the lamp turned into candlestick. 🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯 Your home is lovely, and Christmas ready. 🎄
When my children were small, 20 years ago, I bought a gold 7 foot Christmas tree from the thrift store in January- it was brand new. I paid $20 for a $300 tree. It was beautiful. 😊😊😊 thrift stores are an excellent source of decorations.
Oh, Sherry! There aren’t words sufficient to describe how much like Christmas it is, to watch your channel and see the things you present to us. It’s absolutely delightful! I love the decor you presented. Thank you for sharing your lovely house and decor and your wonderful personality.♥️🥰
Everything you’ve done makes me want to go “home for the holidays”, just like a Hallmark movie. However, I’m 59 and I’m already home😉 I suppose I’ll have to recreate some of these projects ❤
So...that bird nest book you made is probably the most creative and adorable thing I have ever seen! WOW! 🥰 You are so talented. I could watch your videos forever and never stop being amazed!
I was simply transformed, every nook in the library beckoned me to world long long ago, where I would truly love to visit. The beautiful serenity in your home would transform anyone to a world long long ago. I loved every piece of decor and watching you transform things that were made magical right in front of my eyes❤️ I agree with others may I come and just sit a while❤️ absolutely stunning!
What a cozy Christmas room. I love the traditional colors instead of all white or gold or a lot of other modern looks. My favorite is the houses, so cute!
This just hit the spot. I had yesterday off for veterans Day, so I saved the video for today. Much appreciated after a hectic day. The fox ornament has such a cheeky expression 😂. TFS. ❤❤😊😊
Everything is absolutely fabulous. I especially left a little book nest in the lantern. I hope you’re keeping everything because it just looks so perfect in your home.❤
Thank you for answering my request for plastic fruit ideas. My husband inherited a bag of these from his grandma estate. I wanted to use them in our decor this year. I know he will be pleased to have them displayed in such a thoughtful way. I hope your Christmas will be everything you'd like it to be. Thank you for all of your hard work. You inspire us all.
Fruits and nuts were the original/traditional Decoration for christmastree. A glassmaker didn't have money to buy fruits, that's why he made some out of Glass. That's how we got Glass Ornaments.
That quote from A Christmas Carol is my favorite too. I try to find a place to display it each year. I love you channel, Sherry. You inspire me every time.
I love the quote on the typewriter. It’s such an appropriate quote for the season and all year, too! I wish when people donated they would note on the boxes if the item is incomplete. You, of course, worked around that but not everyone has your talent. I have seen top hats with festive ribbons attached to the band used as tree toppers. It’s a really cute look. Thanks for another great video!
Can I just be adopted? Daughter or Neice or your very close 1st cousin!! 😂 Mrs Sherri YOU ARE BRILLIANT at making even the worst lil thrift piece turn into a magical treasure.... my word everything is PERFECT! The village book houses... swoon! 🎄
I just wanna know who finds a leather horse at Goodwill? You must be the luckiest woman that shops constantly to find that! The bird nest on the book is sensational I’d just I’m gonna have to copy that one.!
Can I just come to your house? I promise to sit quietly, with a book and a cup of tea, and just soak in all the atmosphere! You create the world I would like to live in!!
Me too we won’t be any trouble x
100 percent agree
Me too?
Me too!!🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️. I’ll pay admission!!
And me! I'll just have to fly in from England ❤
The leather horse is to die for!!!😍🐴🥰

I don't know how anyone could watch this channel even once and not subscribe! I take away fresh ideas each and every time.
Love your things you made, the lamp you made into the candlestick look, the nest with the bird and the old book in the lantern and lots of others. I especially like your little tabby kitty adding to the scenery.
I'm guessing the cardinal on the book nest only eats bookworms!
😂😂
Cute
Hahaha
And everyone knows that Cardinals are well RED ♥️. Heh heh
Watching your video again… everything is just fabulous!
Love that last picture you got from GW. The houses are super cute! You always do such a wonderful job with your decorating.
Can't believe you have old Dickens books
The children's chair warmed my heart as it is identical to mine. I still have it, and got it from my Grandma when I was 3 years old and that was 1965. What a treasure for $3.99. I love your channel so much! Thank you Sherry!

0:42 that old timey Santa on the back of that shelf was cute. Your tree is beautiful ❤
Love how your fur baby supervises you. I just dont know how we craft without them. Lol
You are so gifted and I love watching you.
Beautiful! You captured the Charles Dickens spirit perfectly ❤
I love how you did the fruit and berry wreath! It reminds me of the Ghost of Christmas Present with all his bounty.
Oh, Gina, I wish I had thought of that to say in the video (but I didn’t)!
I love the storybook village houses - especially at night !
Oh, thank you, Christine! 😊
They came out so beautiful!
Omw this is magical!
Love anything Dickens inspired!
3:09 when I was a girl my dad would use an old bucket filled with rocks to anchor our Eastern Red Cedar Christmas tree. Your hack brought back memories.

Wow, thank you! That is a genuinely lovely compliment!
Red and green are such classic Christmas colors sherry x

Love it, love it, love it all, especially the fruit in the wreath and the black and gold framed images from a Christmas Carol! You got my mind ticking. Thank you so much for sharing!
It all looks so perfect!! Charles Dickens is a Cousin of mine and he would be touched by this... Beautiful!!
We might be related because he is also related to me. My family did a family tree back in the early 2000’s. We found out that he is an Uncle.
I really really really love that fruit on that reef it kind of put in mind about old-fashioned Christmas and that’s what I wanna create in my house old-fashioned Christmas with all the play and fruit decoration because that’s what they had back in the day
😮😮😮😮That was my face through the entire video! I just love the Dickens christmas vibe❤
You are amazing! If I had bought that tree and found all the parts weren't there, I would have been heart broken! Yet you found a beautiful way to give that baby a new life! It looked fantastic!
I love the “book nest”
Thank you, Chalma! ☺️

Love everything you do. Abe is forever grateful for including him in the festivities. ❤️

I loved your very Dickens Christmas. All the little bows were the finishing touch! TFS
Your library looks gorgeous Sherry! Love the red afghan on your plaid couch!🥰❤️❤️❤️

Love this multipurpose idea, Vicki!!!
@CanterburyCottage 🫠🤩
Use Top Hat for Kentucky Derby decor. Or add bunny ears for Easter
@beckihaff5151 Great minds! haha I was also thinking Kentucky Derby with horses, ribbons, and trophies. I love a theme.😄❤️

I loved the Christmas tree! Lovely.
Your library looks beautiful, so warm and cosy especially at night with the candles, I could sit in there for hours! 😊❤

So decorative. Love the thrifted tree and decorative thermos display. The watercolor sleigh art 🖼️ is perfect backdrop 👏🎄👏
Thanks so much! 😊
Awesome. I’m envious of your thrift store prices. That horse would have cost $30 at my Goodwill out here in the Pacific NW.
Don't forget the pineapple! We lived in Williamsburg VA and it is the main fruit used. It means Welcome!
How festive, pretty, and just right!❤🎄❤🎄
Thank you, Vicki!
Sherry! what beauty, I could sit and look around and be medized every place I look tells a story. Just beautiful.

I do love all your little touches!
