Girl i love how you do the woodwork yourself, I watch a lot of upcycling and furniture flip and home DIY videos and while it's fine to get your husband or father to help it just feels so much more within my ability when I see women actually doing the work themselves. Of course there are safety issues that come with using power tools and no shame to anyone without woodworking experience who needs to get someone else to do it for them, but it still feels empowering to see women who know how to use these tools safely and well.
I overheard someone stating there are only signs that say welcome to our home and never welcome to my home. I thought it was an interesting observation and thought it would be right up your alley as a project idea. 😊
Aloha from the Pacific Northwest! Wanted to share a thrifting score- I found some round bamboo salad plates in the 90% off bin at a thrift shop. Brought them home, sanded down with 320 grit paper, used a light stain to bring out the bamboo, sealed and gifted. Love your ideas; they inspire me to think out of the box! Minute marker 5:30- pun intended! 😄
Did you gift them as a food item? It doesn't sound like you would be able to use them for food again. Depending on what you used for a stain and a sealer. I guess you could stain it with coffee and then seal it with mineral oil and then it would be food safe.
Would you share some of those old recipes please? 🙏🏼 Just screenshots would do. Do you by any chance have any New York style cheesecake in those recipes? 🤔
If I was to recreate your key to happiness DIY I’d use a keyhole piece instead of the doorknob piece. Great inspiration! Thanks for sharing your awesome talent! Blessings!🩵
I love the first one, that makes the vase look like very old ceramic. But I would like to do this on some big pots that I have outside that are plastic. What type of sealer should I use that would keep the plaster that I apply from coming off?
Great projects! May I ask the area you live in that allows you to take things from the dump and landfill? I’ve never lived anywhere where that was allowed. It would be great to do so! We are not even allowed to pick things up from anyone’s curb trash! I live now in the PacificNorthwest but have also lived in the Southwest and South. Thanks much!
Question about the transfers. I have done/tried numerous ones and they all seem to have an outline that won't go away that really shows up when sealed. Any thoughts on this? I have scrapped so many things because my eyes are drawn to the outline that's left.
That usually means you don’t have a white background and you are putting on mod Podge too thick. It is a thick glue so if you don’t spread out thin you will see it
I love all your great ideas! I live in the states & we don't have a dump we can go to although I've found many great roadside treasures. If I came to Canada would I be able to go to those dumps or are they only for Canadian citizens?
This one in the video could be vintage as it looks old and rusty. We have wheels like this a little bit larger for metal tables we use to hold piles of metal while we work with it. So really it's a heavy duty wheel.
Love the many projects, thank you. Just want to note that the music is a ltlle louder than your voiceover, which i found distracting. Cant wait to enjoy more projects though. Love your channel. 🤩
She must have busted my house!😂 I have so much especially after my father died. I spend hours in the hardware store walking up and down the isles just to see if I can find tools and stuff I inherited. I have been amazed what ideas she comes up with!
I know you have no control over the ads but I had twelve during this video which seems like a lot. I’ll keep watching you but thought you might want to know.
there are so many very loud advertisements. Why not leave them for the beginning or end of the video. It is very jarring when adverts shout at me. You wouldnt put heavy metal rockmusic during the video. Very disappointed.....
I'm sorry but your very rude and insulting. U dont have to like every creation, everyone is entitled to their own taste but you could've expressed your distaste for it in a nicer way. U are what's wrong with the world today.

Thanks! It's important to me to show that anything is possible with the right tools and techniques.

I love that idea! 😊
Love the frame around the pegboard👏👏👏
I think it looks great too! 😊

@@KMF3 Rest assured, I rearched food-safe methods to stain beforehand.

I'm always looking for those, but hard to find.
Would have used the pulley, doorknob, & spindle to make paper towel holder stand w/doorknob at top. Really enjoy your ideas.
Great idea
I love your ideas so much! Your creativity is inspirational to me! Thanks bunches for sharing. 😊
You are so welcome!
I would use the iron method on the stool. It is nice and big and flat.
Yes you could
Some of your bits and pieces came from a lamp. I just took one apart and have the same pieces! Pauline/Kansas

The best!
I love the first one, that makes the vase look like very old ceramic. But I would like to do this on some big pots that I have outside that are plastic. What type of sealer should I use that would keep the plaster that I apply from coming off?
An outdoor polycrylic sealer
I always enjoy you video's. I have learn a lot from you thank you so much! Liz x🇨🇦
Thank you so much!
Just a question I'm curious what do you do with the cardboard after you've used it for the spray painting and/or cleaning?
I use my cardboard over and over if I’m spray painting or crafting on it but if it gets too bad, then I just recycle it
You are very talented 👍❤️🙏
Thank you so much 😀
Great ideas❣️❣️❣️
Thanks ☺️
OMG, I'd love to have a copy of Grandma's coconut cream pie recipe. Or actually all of them.
Great idea!!
I love all of the coffee stain on the skates picture!
Thanks for watching

A lot of my finds are curbside finds. I’m in 🇨🇦
@@OurUpcycledLife I so wish we could do this!!! I’m thrilled you can! Best to you!
You’re in Ontario? So cool. All the other DIY’ers I watch are from southern USA
Yes I sure am! Just outside Ottawa 🇨🇦
I love number 1.
Thanks for watching

I wish more areas would allow this to happen
22:39 this is a 1 Vintage Wheels, 2.5" Factory Cart Wheels PS I look it up and I like learning old thing
This one in the video could be vintage as it looks old and rusty. We have wheels like this a little bit larger for metal tables we use to hold piles of metal while we work with it. So really it's a heavy duty wheel.
Oh I bet it is!!!!
Love that baby quilt
I have the More With Less cookbook!
Love it
Love your videos. But that background music... now I'm ready for a nap. Puts one to sleep. Lol
😴
Hi what's your calling a pulley looks like a wheel from a very old transport trolley type cart from an old railroad receiving station
You might be right thank you so much for watching. Glad you enjoyed.
Love the many projects, thank you. Just want to note that the music is a ltlle louder than your voiceover, which i found distracting. Cant wait to enjoy more projects though. Love your channel. 🤩
Thanks for letting me know!
The pieces on the welcome sign came off ceiling fan blades
Oh I bet your right !! ❤️
Hide your coffee!
Where is this magical dump?
Where do you live to find all those thrift finds😮

#replay
I can't find your paint recipe 😕😢
Which one?
Not anpully no groove for rope, it's an old cart wheel
one of the pieces you use looks like a pawn from a chess game
Oh maybe!!
Why does the video repeat??
Your “ Bundt” pan is actually a tart pan. I have my moms. They are a tad more shallow but I like what you did
Thanks for watching
I know you have no control over the ads but I had twelve during this video which seems like a lot. I’ll keep watching you but thought you might want to know.
Yes unfortunately I can’t control that. I appreciate you watching ❤️
More commercials than content. No thanks.

Unfortunately I can’t control that it is UA-cam ad placement
Too country!! Just FYI. Decoupage is pronounced as an A…….it’s French.
Not the style for everyone but thanks for watching
I'm sorry but that first one was a complete fail it looks horrible..
Wow lol can u be more direct and insulting?
If you find it necessary to comment, perhaps you could find a kinder way to critique something you don’t care for. 😉🌸
I guess it just depends on your taste.... I think it's pretty cool!
I'm sorry but your very rude and insulting. U dont have to like every creation, everyone is entitled to their own taste but you could've expressed your distaste for it in a nicer way. U are what's wrong with the world today.
I hope you aren't in customer service.
