- Keto bread is a low carb bread that doesn’t contain the inflammatory wholewheat and wholegrains that make traditional bread carb dense. 3 eggs
¾ cup of greek yogurt

This flatbread recipe is very good. Other day I made up a sheet, I cut into 4” squares and put in plastic baggy in fridge.
I just made a grilled ham and cheese sandwich; turned out prefect. Assemble sandwich, butter the pan on low heat till nice and warm. Held up great.

I have to say this is probably the least eggy flatbread I've made. Very impressed. Had this as a tuna salad wrap was super delicious. Seemed too good to be true that i was getting so much protein in one go😅.
I made this but with 1 cup mozzarella cheese (instead of 1&3/4).
With bacon and eggs in a roll, the taste is amazing.
The first time I left the grated mozzarella as bought, but the second time I chopped it in a blender/cutter finely.
As a formerly meat only carnivore, now carnivore/Ketovore this is the only “bread” I find acceptable.
Does it taste eggy?
Does it still taste a bit too cheesy to use as ordinary flatbread? (I'm not a huge fan of cheese.)

I made these cooked little lower temp 325°. I was making cheese crackers. I baked in my Silicone dehydrater trays. I let cool. Scored into saltine squares. Dehydrated on the dehydrator perforated trays until crispy. One batch as cheetz.
I did lay on a paper towel first before scoring to absorb the excess oil. Great for dipping.
Going to try next time cutting into thin faux pasta.

I put P.Towels on top too, to sook up grease

I made this bread yesterday and it is awesome sturdy bready and amazing I melted some swiss on it under the broiler yes the broiler with slices of pork loinand the rest of the making of a cuban i a m amazed....I think cottage cheese bread will take a definite back seat to this ❤ thank you

I make this every week now. Easy and versatile. Instead of yogurt, I use Quark, a dairy product here in Germany that's thicker than yogurt.
What is Quark? Can you write the complete name? I’m here in Germany too and love trying new things. I noticed they have more healthy stuff here than in the USA ( I’m in Kaiserslautern)
@@anandazen30 Just Google "German dairy products" and you'll learn all about them. Try each one and see what you like. If you enjoy fermented things, try Schwedenmilch. It's only at the health food stores (like Denns or Tegut). Delicious!

Quark is created when milk turns sour and the milk separates into protein and the remaining liquid (whey). To start this process, you just need to add a little buttermilk to the milk and wait about a day until the milk curdles as the lactic acid bacteria multiply. A quicker version with lemon is ready in just a few hours. You can also make quark from milk that has already turned sour.

What is the difference between quark and (fresh cheese) cream cheese? Quark is a cream cheese product, so the two foods are very similar. In contrast to quark, however, cream cheese is firmer as it has a longer draining time and contains less liquid.

@@lulu7777ist Sure its very similar to this recipe. I use around 1/2 loaf of cream cheese, 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, 1cup liq egg whites, 4/5 tablespoons of bamboo flour and 1/2 tsp various Italian seasoning. I usually use garlic powder, Orgeno powder, and Italian seasoning. I will mix everything together and pour the mixture onto a parchment line cookie sheet. Try to spread the mixture as thin and even as possible. I will bake it at 350 /375 for about 10 t0 15min. Once it cooked, I cut into strips as lasagna noodles. Friends and family constantly ask me to make my keto lasagna. Its a lot of work but it tastes so good.

This is a perfect food to not only snack on by itself but is a super great substitute for regular bread. I seldom have a chance to go into
a restaurant for a sit-down meal while on the road, so this is perfect for making a quick sandwich without the guilt, and it tastes amazing.

When I made this I also put some ground beef burgers shaped like sausages in the oven and when it all cooked I put one into this bread like a wrap sprinkled with cheese an a egg I fried in butter and omg it was delicious 😋

This really works!!! I am not a cook but I had all the ingredients in the refrigerator so I gave it a try! It is easy. Now I can have pizza again-tastes great.

Mine turned out pretty good... I added Himalayan Salt, Cracked Peppercorn, Garlic Powder, Oregano and Parsley... It stuck to the parchment paper and next time I will just butter the pan. In my opinion, this was too thin for a sandwich and would not be very good for a pizza crust. But as a crepe, I used spiced albacore, mayo and dijon and rolled it up as a wrap and it was a superb, low carb, keto meal.

Thank you! I made this and my husband loves it. It’s a little moist for me so next time I’ll cook it a couple more minutes. I added cream cheese to it for a little dessert.

I just tried it with a bit of sauce ( I have been dying for pizza) loved it ! I will make more and freeze some to take out for breakfast like “toast” to make a bacon egg sandwich! Freezing keeps me from overdoing it lol but it goes together so fast and I always have the simple ingredients on hand ! Thanks again!

Looks good, but the problem I have with so many Keto recipes is that so many are too eggy or too cheesy/greasy.
Some people add a bit of instant yeast to the recipe to make it taste less eggy and more bread-like.
Be advised, this recipe can be near 900-1000 calories for the whole sheet. Just use caution with portion control.

I tried making a keto bread recently that only used the greek yoghurt and mozzarella. I added some sesame seeds to the last 5 minutes of the cooking process. I'm sure the eggs would help to bind the ingredients together. I wasn't very keen on the taste of this though and nor were others who had a bite. It was just too cheesy for me.
Since then I've foraged around online to find a more successful bread (flatbread or other). I've come across some that were good, including those that used pork crackling and egg white powder, but these ingredients are either unavailable or prohibitively expensive for where I live in Australia. Eg The pork crackling starts at $50 for 500 grams and the egg white powder sells for over $70 for a small amount. Seriously, who's going to spend $70 to make just a couple of pieces of bread?

You can use gelatine in flatbread recipe instead of protein egg powder. 3 egg whites plus 1 tablespoon gelatine, 1/4 cup water and season to taste with anything you like. Fry in pan with olive oil over medium heat. Recipe makes 2.

The only yhing its very high calorie this recipe I use Victoria's flour for bread rolls biscuits. Biscuit bread its great but all the cheese in this one makes for a lot of calories but it is great if you make it not abuse it

I wish I could do Keto But I love fresh fruit I had a summer of Peaches Plums Nectatines , Cherries ,Strawberries , Crisp fresh Blueberries , Oranges , Sweet creamy little Canary Island Bananas , Mangos & Passionfruit all Organic & Abundant ; Juicy Melons & The most heavenly delicious , almost floral ,Rosé Grapes...Summer of Fruitarian Sundays , They just feel so right fresh from Tree to my door ..Passionfruits are sublime, their secrets are manyfold ..So good Just want a good Suppl y of fresh herbs too 4 drinks etc.. x❤x
