This came out my senior year of high school. This song motivated me to finish my college degree everytime I hinted about dropping out. You're right, this was a break from their partying style and them still being funky. I had a mixed tape with this song and Hey Young World by Slick Rick back to back to give motivation. Great memories!

My favorite by this band. Their bangers sometimes overshadowed some other good songs they had. Their ballads are pretty solid. They sort of remind me of The Gap Band.
