Was my first truck as well. I got my first vehicle in 1991 the mini truck days. My mom n dad asked me if I wanted a their fire red 1981 Z28 Camero with t tops or do I want an old mini truck, well it was the 90s so I said the mini truck "SMH". I found a 1973 Datsun that had been slammed to the ground, true spoke rims on Pirellilow pro's totally updated with very nice brand new interior, fresh red paint with a cool mural on the tailgate of the truck sitting on the beach, louvers in the body, hood scoop, visor, roll pan, Holly carb, glass packs, custom grill, shaved bed ties and the back of the cab was cut out and a custom subwoofer box was built into the rear through the cab into the bed I mean this thing was bad ass and I ended up getting it for only $600 becouse the original owner owed money to their landlords and gave them the truck to cover what they owed and she didn't want the truck so she sold it to me cheap. Unfortunately I only got to drive it for a year or less as I seized up the engine. A bad motor mount the caused the engine to shift I to the radiator and it overheated so bad the next morning when I tried to push start it "thinking the battery was dead" the wheels just locked up. Well my luck got better as a week later I found another amazing deal when I found a 1979 with the extended cab for $900 this thing had been restored as well new interior and a baby blue paint it also had power windows, I took all the good parts from my dead truck and abandoned it in my sister's front yard (I was only 16 what did I know) I wish I had either one of those trucks right now....
