FINALLY!!!! Pat Benatar is the queen of Rock. This is from 1979 and it’s still good today. Her husband, Neil “ Spyder” Giraldo, the lead guitarist is a phenomenal all around musician. She’s in her late ‘60’s, still tours and hasn’t lost a step.

EDITED: Trivia: Pat Benetar has a 4-octave range. When there are taped harmonies, she sings all of the tracks. She is a classically trained singer who initially attended Julliard but decided she preferred rock and roll. Her mother was an opera singer. [Edit: I originally said 5-octaves, and that she was herself a trained opera singer. This was incorrect, but 4 octaves is still pretty darned impressive. Sorry, I will make sure I double-check my facts before posting in the future.]

...and, yes: Miss Benatar was, in fact, (unlike other folks, who people call classically trained," because they: took 6 months of lessons as a 10-year-old or learned Pachelbel's canon, at some point, or some other, vague thing which does NOT count as "training" or having more than a slight bit of experience...!)
trained in Opera and practicing to be an opera singer
...but decided that: that wasn't really for her.
She got a divorced from her first husband (but kept his name: Benatar ...Her birth name is: Andrzejewski [Polish], ...I'm guessing: it was easier for Americans to pronounce and "relate" to 🙄🙄😛🤦‍♂️) and started singing in rock bands.
She (as mentioned in earlier posts) married Neil Giraldo (I forget exactly, when ...but: During the height of their career ...circa 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ '82? '83?? ...something like that...), her guitarist (and major song-writer for the band/song-writing partner.) and they have kept that partnership going strong for over 3 decades, now.
I have seen her/them perform over the last decade and she is STILL as cool and satisfying to see as she was back in the '80s.
Absolutely, one of the best voices you will ever experience ...and a great ear for melody and harmony. 💜💜💜💜🔥🔥
...TOO many other good songs to name (but, you KNOW me: I WILL give you a 'necessities"/"best songs" listen list!!!! 😋😜🧡) 💙💜🤘🤘

Two diminutive ladies with huge vocal abilities, and while Country isn't my 'thing', I loved this pairing. There are now numerous channels on UA-cam that are about folk's reaction to music outside their normal listening zone; they don't strike me as authentic music lovers, whilst Jamel does. His dreams probably come complete with soundtrack (as do my own); hope he continues his musical odyesy. Peace.
