Motovlog Setup for Beginners (like me)

This a basic setup to record videos while riding. For post processing, I use Final Cut Pro 10.5 on my desktop or LumaFusion on my iPad.

Thanks for the video, I too had a hero 3. The upgrade to the new model allows me to control the GoPro via my phone, super convenient as you can get a preview of what you’re seeing as well. Keep up the vids!

Agree, I have a Hero 7 and the phone control and the 1 press recording does make all those cables obsolete. You will love it when you upgrade! 😎

Hi have you been try to record audio directly to gopro with mic

I did not have a mic adapter for the Hero 3. I mostly use the Hero 8 now, with the media mod that has a mic input, and the Insta 360 with mic adapter. Much easier to incorporate audio.

I need to glance down a little. But, yes. That way, I can confirm that it’s recording.
