This was super helpful. I've been using the RS for a few years now and thinking of upgrading to the x3. You are one of the first to really show how to mount the camera to a bike and get good shots. Thanks,
@@jarenventures I'm pretty sure you will need a mic set up for inside your helmet. the audio on these cameras are not the greatest. espeically at speed.
I just came across your channel. Lot of great stuff. Thank for your time for sharing this great knowledge for nube like me 😅. One question: I want to record videos without my voice in it just pure riding and surrounding, exhaust sound. Im confused what mic should i buy? What do you recommend? I already have insta 360x3 and purchased 16pro max mounted on chest for front view recording. I’m confused with Rode 2 mic or Zoom. Just wanted easy to use and go gear nothing fancy. Thank you
A bit late for the video but I’m curious what’s your opinion for riders that don’t post riding content? I’m thinking of getting one of these setup on my bike for insurance purposes since where I live there is tons of people driving dumb. Any thoughts?
I wonder if that Motorcycle Bundle Kit is still free with the affiliate link, since it is unclear what kit is included (I have just clicked your link). An update on this as a pinned msg maybe?
I was also wondering this. When you click the link it has an option for Standalone and then one for Motorcycle Kit, but both seem to charge for the Motorcycle Bundle. Can you help clarify?
Thank you SO MUCH for this video!! Just bought the X3 and been looking for this exact tutorial. Love your content. Thanks again 👍 (i already subbed some months ago.. 🙂)
How do you get that head on shot going down the beach to be so fricken wide. I feel like I'm shooting in portrait with you in landscape......... Great great videos!!
Great camera. Do you guys set the audio settings to Wind Noise Reduction, or do you leave it on Stereo during a motorcycle ride? I'm planning to use some deadcats and stick them over the mics. I found the wind noise pretty horrible on my Insta360 X3.
@@VeronicaOlvera-p7r I have the audio settings on my Insta360 X4 set on 'Active Wind Reduction'. I also bought the original Insta360 X4 Mic Wind Muff. Check my video: ua-cam.com/video/kvdbNf4tVGA/v-deo.htmlsi=0Owg2leuUcAjsc2q
What would you suggest for a basic usage? This is still very expensive (600€ on AMZ) and I'm not going to start vlogging. Maybe an Akaso brave 7? Any other stuff out there easy to start/stop with one hand? Thanks!
Yeah, because that phrase isn’t rolled out every. single. time there is a new camera… You know who I personally think will be THE GoPro Killer? GoPro. Between the crappy software and unreliable hardware, they seem determined to blow it all.
I have GoPro as well as Insta 360X2. GoPrp Hero 8 Black is built like a tank but the flexibility Insta 360 X2 gives me, is unmatched. For unwater footage I rely on GoPro, because X2 is not that reliable without the housing.
I fixed mine on the quadlock where I usually mount my phone . But videos are shaky and not good . Any idea please? It is a super sport bike and have not too many options.
I want to replace my GoPro 8 as the main action cam. What would you choose between One RS and X3 for motovlog? I thought X3 would be heavy (180gms), but my GoPro setup is 210gms. Your affiliate link(bundle) is still vaild. I want to use before it expires. Thanks
Thanks for the quick tutorial. 😊 If you do in-phone editing, do you have to download the video file to your phone first before editing? Or can you edit first THEN download the edited file (thereby saving storage space on your phone)? Thanks.
I don't get how you're getting the view from behind at that angle yet still getting to see Infront of the bike. When I'm doing it and the cameras extended about the same height from the rear of the bike in just seeing myself riding and that's it I don't get a view over my shoulder and what's Infront of my bike as well.
I just ordered through your link but it seems insta messed up my order :( just got the cam and the stick not the motorcycle attachment. and when I called they said they didn't find an affiliate order just a normal one for me. I emailed the details hoping they can fix it since I'm sure you will also not get your benefits this way

great summary! I will say there's one big pain in the butt that I have had with the Insta360 - the editing process afterwards is a lot longer because I find myself spending so much time sorting through footage to see what angles are best. I still thionk its great but doesn't completely replace my GoPro for POV footage
@@JimyOfficial I've had most GoPros - 1, 2, 6,7,9,10 and the footage that comes out of them is very good, but I think with the overheating issues (I've experienced myself) I will head toward the DJI Osmo 3 action
Great video! I think this is THE camera to get if you want to record footage while riding. That being said, it is worth mentioning that attaching anything to your helmet could seriously compromise safety. So I’d advice to stick with bike mounting as much as possible.
@DeuceszHd Because your helmet is designed to be as aerodynamic as possible and adding anything to it changes that aerodynamic shape creating excessive drag, causing an unwanted head wobbling. At low speeds this could be unnoticed, but once you hit the highway the excessive head wobbling could drastically affect your vision causing dizziness that could lead to a crash! That's why...
