Thanks :) You're definitely not alone, don't worry. Feel free to join the discord if you want to meet more necromancers (see video description for that)
If you're worried about keeping your minions alive and not having to reconstruct them, I suggest downloading the Dawnguard DLC and joining the vampires. In the vampire lair is a merchant that sells the only two restoration spells in the game that heal the undead, meaning that you can restore the life of your summoned or raised undead. Placing a few points into Restoration will increase the strength and frequency of use of these spells. I use it a lot in my vanilla Skyrim playthrough, and it makes my undead minions very powerful! The Dawnguard DLC also features a realm devoted entirely to Necromancers and the undead, which contains a few spells that are the only summonable undead in the base game. Another tidbit to note is that the Illusion spell Courage can empower friendly characters, and a later perk allows your spells to affect the undead as well, giving your minions a temporary boost to their maximum health on top of everything else! The Illusion tree is very easy to level up, if you don't mind spamming the Courage spell on a friendly npc for a half hour or so.
Thanks for the info, that's good to know. I have all the DLCs but haven't started any of their content yet. I also still haven't finished the main quest despite 1034 hours of Skyrim played :O
Cheb Gonaz The main quest isn't really that interesting, and isn't all too rewarding, but the Dawnguard and Dragonborn questlines come with very fun and unique rewards that are useful for players of all types. My personal favorite is a spell you find in Dragonborn that lets you summon a merchant to your location. Makes getting rid of useless loot a breeze! :D
ako riko Getting rid of vampirism can be rather annoying, but if you get rid of it you won't have to put up with the court again. I don't think you're able to join the Dawnguard afterwards, but they aren't very interesting anyways. All in all, I'd say that the hassle is worth getting the chance to heal your minions in the middle of battle
I wish this mod was for console. I can’t stand the skeletons or crafting system of ordinator. This crafting system makes so much more sense to me. Even if ordinator just made it to where you need a petty or lesser soul gem for the skeleton I think that would even boost up my personal rating of it. It just makes more more sense and gives mere petty gems value.
Yeah it's the best mod imo. Both it and Perkus are PC only and they're both the best ones. I don't like how in Ordinator you gotta use those altars (I think that's Ordinator right? Been a while). Good luck on your quest to find a good console mod... maybe The Dark Arts works on console. Pretty sure it does
@@chebgonaz you’re correct on the bone altar. I actually have been considering trying out the Dark Arts considering it’s on console. I was just wondering what iron armor replacer you were using because I can't find it anywhere and I kind of like it ... I don't expect a response seeing as this was uploaded a year ago but still if anyone knows could you please tell me
As far as I know, I wasn't using a replacer for iron armor, but I was using a replacer for full-faced helmets called Improved Closefaced Helmets. My mod lists are always fairly light (20 mods at most, with only a few major ones, 10-15 mods more often than not) so most of what you're seeing in the video should be vanilla. @@shadyassassin5442 In case you are wondering about the base vanilla + DLC armor retexture mod for Skyrim, I think the name is aMidianBorn Book of Silence or something along those lines. It's quite a huge file size as it retextures ALL the vanilla + DLC armors. Also, the mod comes with optional retexture resolution + color variants.
