Tim Edey (3 Row Button Accordion) and Brendan Power (Diatonic Harmonica) play two tunes off the cuff. The first is possibly traditional(?) the second is Brendan's: The Tip of the Iceberg.
Very much seat of your pants stuff: we'd never played these tunes together before, and had no arrangement: it just evolved organically.

I saw them playing last night in San Cesario near Modena (Italy). I'm speechless. It's a real pleasure watching and hearing them play so easily and perfectly. Wonder why they are not more popular - they should be.

Yes, we're getting together in March 2010 to jam an album (or two!) together for release later in the year on UA-cam and CD. BP
timeless
Thanks Filip! :) Filip is the current double harmonica World Champion (diatonic and chromatic). Check out his videos, folks.
Great
che gusto! brilliant :-)
It's one of my own tunings. I'll be doing a book/CD on them this year hopefully and will include tabs etc for this tune and lots of others. BP
and it acutally goes right behind tim.... guess you got cheery ghosts enjoying your music! haha
I cannot stop listening to these harmonica duets. What harmonica are you using Brendan it sounds incredible. I must try to learn some of this Irish playing it puts my rendition of Oh Danny Boy to shame. It is truly phenomenal to watch you both play. you put me in such a happy frame of mind. Thank you both.
Thanks Steven! The harp is in PowerBender tuning, half-valved.
very very very good:-))) great:-))
im enthusiastic:-)) ( both player of course)
Franz
👏👏👏👏
OOuuffff!!!! No more to say.
WOOOOW
The first one seems to be an impro based on a trad tune. I can't recall the name, but I've definitely heard it before quite a few times.
Wonderful musicianship!
Lovely stuff...can someone tell me of advantages of 3 rowbox...
best I think Ive ever seen on youtube... arent u planing to have an album togheter?
U N B E L I E A V E B L E !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@platinumkid78: Thanks man.. or woman! Whichever, I appreciate it, Brendan :)
(almost) Flawless performance!!!
Brendan, do you think you would have gone another way if that one reed hadn't been stuck at around 4:09?
Amazing to see two great musicians collaborate in such perfect manner!
they are in love, sure
great stuf
Beoga plays the first tune. I don't know if it is trad or not.
And the CD comes out when?
The first one is Red Haired Lass
@BrendanPowerMusic Is it the bender tuning? I remember you saying something like that at towersy. :L
I enjoyed the stew out of this.
Hendrix of the Harp..
omg brendan did you notice the ORB fly across you at around 22-23 seconds in?
Yes, I guess it might be a sign from the Heavens that I am Spiritually Blessed, a Chosen One. Or could it just be a bit of fluff blown in from the open window? I suspect the latter...
Bro'mance
Beautifull. But no like te EQ. Nedeed more bass. Deberias eliminar las frecuencias altas en la mezcla final para que no choquen tanto las frecuencias agudas de ambos instrumentos.
he look like eric clapton now XD
ЗаводнАя музЫка😅😅😅
