- Caught this red fox in a trap I have set by my chicken coop. He must like eggs! I decided to release him down by the river leaving some eggs as a snack!

Thank you for being humane and compassionate. My parents kept chickens when I was growing up and we had a family unit of foxes that lived nearby. With a well built enclosure, they never really bothered the chickens beyond searching for a way to get in. Occasionally they'd find a weak spot and we lost a few chickens over the years. But they mainly seemed to feed on the field mouse population.
