It doesn't work that way. After some time the fox will return. If you want to secure the chicken coop and not kill the fox, then you need to give it a really “bad” experience. And for this it is not necessary to force the animal to experience pain. After all, I seriously doubt other farmers will be as kind. A wild animal should be afraid of a humans, for his own good.
The whole experience of getting caught looked traumatic enough... maybe I wouldn't have fed her though. That might condition her in a bad way. Still, I think it was done in good faith. Videos like this really restore a bit of my perpetually crumbling faith in people, to be honest.
@@lilith6571 This would all be cute if it weren't for the fact that the fox enters the farm to kill the farm animals. And as a rule, it kills much more than it can eat. She's a predator. We all know the purpose of farmed animals. But this also means that the person raising them must provide them with decent comfort, care and protection. I don't have a very high opinion of people who endanger the lives of "their" animals they care about because of strange moral principles or beliefs. Such a choice does not make a person “good” or “loving animals”, it makes him more likely a traitor or a fool. No offense. But everything is obvious here if you think about it. Not one normal person would put the life of an aggressive homeless person higher than the life of his relatives. But the principle is the same.
@@Korj666 No offence taken, but man, you came out even harsher than before. I was wondering what you exactly meant with "experiencing pain", I wouldn't know how to inflict non-lethal pain to a relatively small animal like a fox. Now I wonder if you would have actually shot the fox in the same situation. Personally I don't think it has to be a zero-sum game, from what I read fox-proof enclosures are very effective, for instance. Of course they're an expense, but over the long time they might be less expensive than fighting a total war against an animal that is just being what it is.
@@lilith6571 I did not say that you need to cause physical pain to the animal. I talked about the need to create a more stressful situation for the predator, which will then be released. Maybe my English is bad. I have always been against causing physical pain to animals larger than a cockroach. Even if some animal does not have a sufficiently developed brain to experience suffering, and not just react to a stimulus, this will in any case have a detrimental effect on the tormentor, even if he does it not out of whim but with rational intent. Therefore, I have a calm attitude towards hunters, but I am extremely negative towards people who use bows or crossbows for hunting. I've been shooting long enough to understand how terrible this weapon is, unlike a firearm, and never point it at anything living. As it were. I meant, as an example, that a captured animal needs to be greatly frightened. And not pet it, kiss it on the nose and let it go with a donated fish in its teeth) That's what I meant. You need to be strict with violators. And do not make it clear that they are not in danger. Foxes are not stupid. And this needs to be taken seriously. There are few videos on UA-cam of the consequences of foxes breaking in, but you can find videos of how dogs and coyotes that got inside a farm maim domestic animals. The difference is not big.
For more information. 1. My chickens will never get killed by a wild animal. Wild animals can’t get in. 2. This fox slept in this trap over a cold and wet night. Sure it experienced a terrible night. 3. I released this fox 200 miles away. The fox is not coming back. Also the fox did not eat the eggs I left. Too traumatized by the night it had in the trap. 4. I’m a big hunter and I use bows, guns and spears. In almost every situation I’ve been in, a bow and spear is far more quick at killing the animal. In fact I don’t think there was a single thing you said that was accurate.
You're a saint sir, times are tough for most souls nowadays and it's heartwarming to see some merciful charity..
I love Foxes Forever 🥰
Show her who the boss is, and I would recommend gloves lol
She sure is protective.
Does that hurt?
I was thinking the same thing. Looks kinda painful.
It can
Not really. She just barely broke skin.
What a nice young man!
The right way, good man!
❤
Thank you so much for doin what you did ! 💖💜💜💜💜
He lives in a van down by the river!
"Can I please hav some nuggets 🥺"
That is a nice looking red kox, I'm glade that you released it.
Thanks for releasing the 🦊
Foxes are such adorable rogues, you just cannot but want to give them a second possibility.
Pretty eyes indeed... piercing orange! I'm glad this foxxo lives to fox another day.
God dang that shot was good
aww poor fella was just hungry
Nice video, and nice channel. It's good to see you get outdoors unlike most rust players! As for the kill this isn't the longest kill with Mp5, it's about 200 meters. I've hit around that and I'm sure others have hit further. Nonetheless good shot :) With the new aimcone hitting from this range with a single shot is pretty impressive, also because the mp5 shoots sliiiightly right of it's centering anyway it's harder still. I respect the clickbaitish title, you've got 190 views so it's obviously working ahahaha. Is this console rust? The fonts, ui size and saturation look sliiightly off.
obviously its console rust, my longest mp5 kill on pc is just out before players render out at about 270m albeit with old recoil many years ago. for console though, i can imagine this is an amazing shot
ive seen farther in a blooprint video
on consle tho
blue print is on pc though
@@leigh6223 blooprint* + doesnt matter this kid is dogshit
Thank you for understanding and caring for the fox. Other's would be too invconvenienced to go as far as you went to protect the animal.
HUH?
I love this video
poor thing looked so scared. very nice of you to release him and give him some eggs!
Don’t hurt her 😥😥😥
Вот это очень хитрая лисица 🦊 и она желает подкрепиться.
Thank you for being humane and compassionate. My parents kept chickens when I was growing up and we had a family unit of foxes that lived nearby. With a well built enclosure, they never really bothered the chickens beyond searching for a way to get in. Occasionally they'd find a weak spot and we lost a few chickens over the years. But they mainly seemed to feed on the field mouse population.
No more swiping eggs for this foxxo...
❤
Try body harness. Instead of collar.
❤
I would definitely do that fox 🥰🥰
ur insane
@@elysian778 thank you
@@The_fox_zoophile not a compliment 😆
You would do what to the fox?
@@Gavijre adult stuff 😏
training to be on leash... only 17 seconds on leash.... 🤔
Yeah she didn’t last long. She got it figured out today though!
beautiful 🥹
Yes, save your chickens. But don't be mad at the fox. They just want to survive :(
I love you for releasing the fox!!
You have such a wonderful calming way with this little guy. Thanks for what you do.
He’s adorable❤
Foxes home range can be up to 4- 20 miles depending on habitat. Very intelligent beautiful animals, stunning!
I was trying to catch a cat with that same trap and I got a raccoon instead. They are some Mean MFs.
Is no one else gonna talk about how it’s sped up
I think everyone else got the joke….
Interesting choice of music…
This Makes me love Cali.
This is why Florida is best.
Nope...Florida sucks 😂
Glad I live in Texas😂
What trail? All I see is snow and trees 😮
Very very very pretty
That’s crazy. Looks like Norway.🇳🇴
Bro made it to Heaven, but God ain’t told him what happened yet.
For real. Looks like God even opened the gates for him looking at those 2 pine trees at the end of the video.
Haha idk why, but I was thinking the same thing😂
I don’t think you can film when you die….. plus he’s the cameraman. He can’t die.
😂 this is exactly what I would expect walking up the the gates would look like.
Casually says “gotta love winter” 😂 nobody loves winter. Too cold.
