in my opinion the 334 light year planet is just one of the biggest and some planets either A) gather very little rocks and gas and get special shapes B) gather a very large amount of rocks and are just giants and in my opinion an average star in the kirby universe is 700 lightyears if a planet can be 334 light years
Genuine question, if every action has an equal and opposite reaction, and Kirby is capable of attacks that can output Galaxy destroying levels of power without his body shattering to pieces, wouldn't that mean his durability is also comparable to the amount of force he can output?

To give you a bit of an idea of how crazy Kirby is compared to everything else we've seen so far, the number he was given is easilly high enough to destroy a multitude of galaxies in one attack, this makes even some of the strongest characters we've seen so far (based on their fights' logic) look about as pathetic as The Deep in Deathbattle's seven royale (aka, the guy who died before his fight even started).

This may be from a year ago but it’s still a great video and I’d like to add something to Kirby. The status effects make this a lot closer than expected, yet I would say that, other than smash bros, Kirby really doesn’t fall victim to status effects. The biggest example is when fighting void termina heart, and he spits out attacks that, when it hits something, turns them into enemies. Yet when it hits Kirby…nothing. However I might be wrong about this, so who knows
it's more likely that instead of being a status effect, the attack simply nullifies the friend hearts. this would also explain why you "cure" them with a heart.
Love the episode but the thing with Kirby even if he never uses is full power he still has all his copy abilities that can counter things Jigglypuff can do.For some example in a side game name Kirby Battle Royal it show that Kirby can attack when sleeping, in Planet Robobot and learn the new copy ability poison which work like the fire, and ice Kirby can known has resistance against poison not in the gameplay but in the description of the copy ability and last in Kirby Squeak Squad Kirby has a poket space in his stomach that he can save copy ability in. Also for Kirby people forget that Kirby has a anime or show that not all the same like the games but it has things like different copy ability. Sorry for the rant I loved the episode and can’t wait for more.
excuse me I got a question when is that updated version of Sonic vs Fox coming out? because I am very curious also you are a doing an amazing job of this series I love it how unique this series is in terms of researching and really love the animation and so excited to see the next match-up thank you for answering this question if you have a chance to do it
@@SmashBracket thank you so much for replying like when I first saw Link vs Ridley or Mario vs Mega Man I already fall in love with your show so much I just love everything about it and even know you made a mistake with the Sonic vs Fox it's ok besides every vs shows made mistakes sometimes
I could see Fire Blast LAUNCHING Kirby but not really hurting him lol Yeah after watching it I doubt anything really hurt Kirby much lol he just kinda shrugged it all off.
But isn't Jigglypuff only able to know four moves at once and has to level up or use a TM/HM to learn a new move, where it also has to forget one of the moves it already know?
Yeah unless Kirby literally refused to go all out the entire time he wins. Even if puff toxics turn one, kirby just could stomp puff immediately after, so the only way puff wins is if he is poisoned and refuses to try at all, or if puff immediately confusions (which would also require Kirby to not try turn one as he would certainly outspeed her) which would then be a random chance who wins (assuming the confusion even hits in the first place)
In the Red Corner: A Pokémon that knows a lot of moves. In the Blue Corner: What has been confirmed by Nintendo to be the juvenile form of an eldritch being.
It should be know Kirby doesn't have to inhale something to draw on the copy ability, in multiple games Kirby can store the abilities and choose them later
As it relates to the meteor minigame, was it considered that the meteor was only about 10-12 inches in diameter, and that the “light years,” is not what it would be to us but scaled to their world? We can measure the size, time, and distance the meteor went in the window Kirby hits it in (since it would have to be right there to hit the thing), and that rapid deceleration into acceleration should be the fastest that meteor will ever go. And since we can measure the speed at that point relative to its small size, it doesn’t seem to be going all that fast. Since we can see it shrink relative to its and Kirby’s size, and it doesn’t just vanish in the blink of an eye, that might need to be taken into account. Or maybe it is going that distance but in an accelerated time window to represent to the player the distance, but the meteor could just travel slowly through space. Lastly, was planetary density considered? It doesn’t seem like the contents of any planet or moon destroyed in Kirby had much interior at all and seems to just be hollow or made of the same material (like PopStar). I still think Kirby stomps Puff, and I really loved what you did with the Pokémon scaling. I just am hoping this feat and Kirby characters get scaled back realistically into what it is, so other matchups don’t get obliterated by a minigame or by comparing the strength feats of an 8 inch tall ball that can be damaged by a slowly moving bullied ball. Maybe the gravity of the planet relative to some canon weight and an estimated planetary size can be used to calculate the planetary mass for strength feats? Minigames are weird. You can have a Pokémon with no legs outrun and out hurdle Deoxys-Speed or the god of the universe in the Pokeathlon, but I don’t think that’s fair to consider, even when in-game stats are a factor in performance for that minigame. Either way, loved the animation and the series, and I’m hyped for Mewtwo vs Sephiroth, especially after seeing how a Pokémon are handled in this. That was brilliant
Lmao i think ink has had enough kirbyscaling for this. I would just leave it at light years because theyre called light years and thats what the developers intended, then lowball the feats (which would still stomp jigglypuff)
Those are some really good points that were well thought out! We did consider all of them, so I'll try and clarify how we handled this. To start with the easiest one, I've got an article here that addresses how we will be handling minigames in the series going forward. They will need to meet certain criteria in order to be accepted, so it's not all fair game: reallemon.medium.com/how-smash-bracket-handles-minigames-and-multiplayer-4c59514ce775 As for "light years" being smaller than what they are in our own world, I did consider that. The problem is that the implications of lightyears only being a couple of feet would make things even weirder than the apparent contradiction in size we see during the minigame. It would effectively render everyone blind because light wouldn't operate fast enough to see anything meaningful and it would screw up a bunch of things with timespace that I'm not smart enough to understand. It would basically end up changing the physics of Kirby's world on such a fundamental level that we couldn't measure any feat he does at all because our physics wouldn't apply to even basic concepts anymore. As for the speed of the meteor, you bring up a good point. There's a lot of reasons to not trust the timeframe or speeds presented. But we didn't actually factor in the speed of the meteor at all in the first place (since trying to measure the kinetic energy would say this feat requires infinite power no matter what). We only calculated the destruction of the planets themselves for this feat, which wouldn't change no matter what the actual timeframe was. Also, interesting side note, the meteor actually demonstrates gaining MORE energy as it travels. Not just because it breaks larger planets, but because it shatters them more thoroughly and sends the pieces flying farther and faster. That doesn't make any sense, but it's Kirby. For all of the planets and the moon, I treated them as being made up of just rocks and dirt. So the density of the planets was a lot less than what an actual planet would be. It both made my job a lot easier and lowballed the numbers, which was really needed in this feat. I could have lowballed it further by assuming they were hollow or something, but that felt like a bit too much of an assumption to make. I really wish there was some canon measurements of any kind for Popstar or its surrounding planets, but that just doens't exist. So we had to make due with what we had, which meant using really weird ways to measure the size of Popstar and assuming that the distance we're given in Star Slam Heroes is accurate.
@@counterfeitlemon I appreciate the thorough response and the intense research. Though I disagree with a good amount of how Kirby is scaled, since he just stomps most of the cast due to weird, cartoony feats and representations that works in very tiny universes but also aren’t at all consistent in-universe, I don’t have a better method to recommend, and (my opinions on minigames aside) I really love the rules set up by this tournament. And I guess that, within the established rules, it is totally fair. I can just be bitter that Kirby stomps everyone I love but still appreciate just how thorough you all are, haha. Keep up the great work!
@@CreaturesOfTheMarsh I appreciate how much thought you put into your response and your openness to our perspective. I will say that I would be much more hesitant about giving Kirby these stats if we were only ever having fights to the death. As it is, I can already think of a few people who are far weaker than Kirby but would easily be able to pacify or incapacitate him
2 more things that seem to be supported, when kirby inhales and copies an ability, he immediately masters said ability, and is able to use it to it's full extent. Also, the kirby anime also has some things to check out, if you really want a headache.
The kirby charecters are wiping the fights they have, if they have to fight against each other and not holding back at all that could take hours in universe time
Even though Kirby win this fight and all. Just remember some thing silly about Kirby upgrade copy ability on sleeping ability. It actually heal him for sleeping and animator make kirby in sleeping copy ability too.
Really enjoyed all the episode from analysis to animation. All of it was so fun. Don't know if its one the irrelevant to fight thing but on kirby aspects how are you looking at milky way wishes copy essences and squeak squads stored abilities and what not in bubbles inside kirby.
Writing this before finishing the episode cause I don't want to forget- this is really, REALLY funny. I love all of the visual gags that you use instead of solely relying on jokes in the script. Stuff like the silly descriptions for Jigglypuff's attacks and the fucking Ben 10 vs. Green Lantern thumbnail flying across the screen when you talk about time had me reeling. Edit after finishing:... Welp, I have a feeling that my guess about this coming down to Kirby vs. Sephiroth in the finals might end up being correct. And that meteor feat is probably a way bigger number than Sephiroth's supernova. Unless y'all do something like actually buy into universal Joker, I don't think anyone in this tournament stands a chance against Sakurai's son. I love how you utilized so much of the characters' arsenals in this episode, too. With both of these series, it's tough to showcase everything that the characters are capable of, so I'm really impressed that you were able to work in stuff like Toxic and some of kirby's more underappreciated abilities like Metal.
It’s funny how I don’t think Universal Joker even matters if we put Kirby at his power stated by a official game itself. In Kirby Planet Robobot BASE Kirby is stated to literally be infinite in power, in BASE. Joker wouldn’t stand a chance against that
Popstar has never been considered anything smaller than a Planet (World really can mean most anything from a small area to a universe, so it really can't be counted as a feat or anti-feat in terms of Popstar's size), meaning it would at the very least need to be as large as Kepler-37b (See here for more info: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kepler-37b), the smallest known celestial body that's considered to be a proper planet. This would give it an average radius of about 3,900 kilometers. While you could argue that the characters in Kirby might have lower standards for what counts as a Planet, Nintendo themselves have also stated Popstar to be a planet, supporting that it would need to fit our real-world standards for a Planet.
Considering Kirby is considered by Death Battle and half of the community to be stronger than even Majin Buu. I see no way a pathetic Jigglypuff could defeat a character with over planet level + abilities.
Next time could be really interesting, due to I guess smash bracket scales pokemon and to how supernova will be interpreted (Dissidias explanation, being that Seph transports his enemy to a dimension were a solar system similar to our own is exploding, most likely dismissed since Dissidia is non-canon).
I think the problem is we've literally never seen kirby destroy himself and if he does isn't kirby taking jigglypuff with him. I feel like that would either result in a black hole , inhale overdrive or kirby's crash ability but on a much much bigger scale
@@Mike-di3mo I did, and he said it would be close only because Kirby's holding back, but that if Kirby were to use more of his power, Jigglypuff would be dead instantly.

He beat up the supposed most powerful fighter in all of planet popstar, galacta knight, who had absorbed the power of DEATH ITSELF
Yeah but puff is still smarter and faster then kirby
Good job Kirby, you won Smash Bracket! But one question, where was that same energy when you were rap batting against The Very Hungry Caterpillar?
Lol
excuse me I got a question when is that updated version of Sonic vs Fox coming out? because I am very curious also you are a doing an amazing job of this series I love it how unique this series is in terms of researching and really love the animation and so excited to see the next match-up thank you for answering this question if you have a chance to do it
Sometime in September! It is taking that long because we are doing it totally from scratch with a hand drawn animation instead of sprites!
@@SmashBracket thank you so much for replying like when I first saw Link vs Ridley or Mario vs Mega Man I already fall in love with your show so much I just love everything about it and even know you made a mistake with the Sonic vs Fox it's ok besides every vs shows made mistakes sometimes
Honestly, I was expecting Jigglypuff to squeak out a win, but I remembered that Kirby has casually defeated gods
I mean every Pokémon can beat gods so idk
Jigglypuff has a base Special Attack of 45. It can use all these fancy elemental moves but they shouldn’t have even scratched Kirby
I could see Fire Blast LAUNCHING Kirby but not really hurting him lol
Yeah after watching it I doubt anything really hurt Kirby much lol he just kinda shrugged it all off.
To be honest puff attack Stat is 45 yet it can hit as hard as tnt exploding so yeah I don't think he's using stats
I never realized how close this was, good job.
19:50 I ain't so sure about that chief
@@fridgebanana101 well according to these rules, but I still think kirby destroys
But isn't Jigglypuff only able to know four moves at once and has to level up or use a TM/HM to learn a new move, where it also has to forget one of the moves it already know?
He literally said all Pokémon will be accessed to their entire movepool at the beginning of Jigglypuff’s analysis.
canonically that is due to Pokemon League rules, not an innate limitation of Pokemon themselves
I feel like you forgot that puff is way faster and smarter then Kirby so she could easily dodge his attacks
The thing bout the post match is trying to say its a close match when the conclusion is literality: “I simply breath and you die.”
Hearing Kirby's "Right back at ya" brought so many memories😊🎉🥲
In the Red Corner: A Pokémon that knows a lot of moves.
In the Blue Corner: What has been confirmed by Nintendo to be the juvenile form of an eldritch being.
I love the idea that Kirby could destroy entire galaxies but instead just chooses to sleep and eat cake and use like 1/1000000 of his full power
*And he's a baby.*
Jiggypuff practically fought a igglybuff and lost horrendously.
Told you the final blow would be devastating
Really good fight,I like that you put xbox's voice in 17:13
Ayyy I’m glad someone noticed. He also screams as part of the cheers at 17:57
Jigglypuff:I'm gonna kill this bitch
Kirby:*dances like he dosen't give a shit*
15:50 I CAUGHT THAT
ALSO *OOOOOW*
They will need to meet certain criteria in order to be accepted, so it's not all fair game: reallemon.medium.com/how-smash-bracket-handles-minigames-and-multiplayer-4c59514ce775
As for "light years" being smaller than what they are in our own world, I did consider that.
As it is, I can already think of a few people who are far weaker than Kirby but would easily be able to pacify or incapacitate him
Lol
2 more things that seem to be supported, when kirby inhales and copies an ability, he immediately masters said ability, and is able to use it to it's full extent. Also, the kirby anime also has some things to check out, if you really want a headache.
High jump with hammer: that's not a thing
Destroys the entire planet: I'll allow it
i have to say
pretty alright episode here
Kirby's my prediction to win this entire tournament, but I'd love to hear anyone's arguments against it.
Facts
Pretty sure the reason Kirby is shocked by a kiss is because he doesn’t know what it is
The start off the song is littrely the Kirby right back at ya opening music.
The kirby charecters are wiping the fights they have, if they have to fight against each other and not holding back at all that could take hours in universe time
I REALLY want to see the calc you made for Kirby's meteor feat.
Now that forgotten land is a thing,I would like to see how much stuff have changed.
I'm never leaving smash bracket
nice the boombox plays the kirby right back at ya intro song
Joker wouldn’t stand a chance against that
When will you be releasing the sonic vs fox music 2?
Also I loved the battle so hyped for Kirby!
I really thought this battle would end with Kirby throwing a friend heart at puff
Considering Kirby is considered by Death Battle and half of the community to be stronger than even Majin Buu. I see no way a pathetic Jigglypuff could defeat a character with over planet level + abilities.
Sing
Next time could be really interesting, due to I guess smash bracket scales pokemon and to how supernova will be interpreted (Dissidias explanation, being that Seph transports his enemy to a dimension were a solar system similar to our own is exploding, most likely dismissed since Dissidia is non-canon).
Also another feat you should take into consideration is Kirby can outrun black holes
I think the problem is we've literally never seen kirby destroy himself and if he does isn't kirby taking jigglypuff with him. I feel like that would either result in a black hole , inhale overdrive or kirby's crash ability but on a much much bigger scale
You're telling me if Jigglypuff learnt Foul Play, there'd be no fight?
If she even managed to hit him. Kirby has outran black holes before.
Looks like Jigglypuff got De-De-Destroyed by Kirby
also that Fight was 10/10 overall one of the Best Episodes of the Show soo far.
Kirby! Was it necessary to split the planet in half to defeat Jigglypuff?
Kirby: Poyo!
That beef was not worth it
This has probably been asked before, but why does Jiggs have more than 4 moves?
Okay, that time joke earned a subscriber. Looking forward to more.
Agree cooking other living beings in a pot alive is terrifying still waiting for death battle to admit there wrong about ben vs hal jordan
