    To anyone who is going to try it, do not go overboard and better use half of the ingredients. I had mad cravings for lasagna , what I love the most about lasagna are the soft LAYERS of the noodles, infused with the ragu sauce. I do not expect the keto recipes to exactly taste like their originals, however, keto/low carb youtubers like her tend to exaggerate their reactions to the food or they just do have different taste buds since she eg. is low carb for so long. I tried this lasagna today and was so excited and hyped because of her saying that you would not be able to taste the difference, which I believed because of the overpowering taste of tomato sauce and especially cheese - everything being melted together. But oh well, you‘ll DEFINITELY taste the difference. Yes the lasagna „plates“ are soft like real cooked lasagna plates , but the texture is kinda stiff and spongy at the same time… believe me, despite all the salty cheese and ragu sauce, you‘ll definitely feel and taste the weird sponge on your tongue. I used the full recipe and now I am stuck with a big sheet of „lasagna“. The first two bites I thought „okay, its like eating thin slices of a stiff sponge, but I can tolerate it“ but after i ate half of my portion… i had to force myself to finish it.

      Lulu: You are absolutely right! Most of the UA-camrs , always exaggerate their comments to gain more subscribers 🤦‍♀️and this lady especially; 🤨she does it with much more emphasis so much so that I stopped watching her and following her recipes ; because nothing has ever turned out well for me and I have always lost my very expensive ingredients. 🥹

      She’s actually done three different versions of lasagne. If this one didn’t work for you maybe one of the other two will? Or, if lasagne is one of those foods where a substitute will not do, try eating regular lasagne in very small portions.

      Hi@@kfrankism and no the noodles didn’t taste eggy at all. I believe it’s because there’s almond flour in them and they are incorporated into the layers of sauce and cheese. They really do work for the purpose of a low carb lasagna noodle.

    This recipe was sooooooooo delish! I love how light and fluffy the “egg noodle” turned out resembling home made fluffy pasta. This is for sure comfort food.

    I cannot believe how good this is! I was a little hesitant as I’m not a huge fan of eggs. I thought the texture would put me off. But the texture and taste was the same as pasta noodles. The kids liked it better and my husband couldn’t tell the difference. I will definitely be making this again

      So there was no egg taste? That’s been my problem with microwave keto bread, the egg taste.

      @@stephanienavarro9432 I agree. I cannot do the microwave bread because of the egg taste and texture. However with these noodles, by the time you add your meat, cheese and sauce you don’t taste the egg and it has the same texture as the noodles.

    Definitely going to try this! I usually use carb smart tortilla shells for my pasta layer & they’re pretty good.
    Also wanted to tell you I started Seed 4 months ago & love what it’s done for me! I had developed a gluten sensitivity (NOT Celiacs) about 10 years ago & went gluten free. A few weeks ago I had some regular pizza at a party & thought I’d pay the price….nothing happened! I have since periodically eaten gluten & have not had a problem at all! Seed healed my gut issues! So thankful!!

    Made this for a dinner party this week for non keto friends. Everyone loved it, and the guest all had seconds. Excellent recipe. I doubled it, which was good, as there isn’t much left. I changed it slightly, because I was lazy, and used a layer of crepini egg wraps and thinly sliced chicken breast instead of the noodles. And for the second lb of meat I used spicy Italian sausage. Served it with your chocoflan, and I’m bowled over by the flavors. You are wonderful.

    Hello Gorgeous, thank you for this amazing recipe, i made it and it was delicious. i just subscribed as I'm new to your channel. The only suggestion i want to make is that you add quantities and measurements when making the videos cause when i had to make the crust i was literally counting the eggs on your bowl. also, i had to wing it with the almond flour and water. However, i was still able to pull it off and my son loved it so much he had seconds. Thanks again and keep those great keto recipes coming.

    Excellent Recipe! Especially being Born and Raised in world Famous Bensonhurst Brooklyn where we have the best Italian Recipes in the country besides Italy. Yes my Grandparents would laugh at diet anything because everything then why Grandparents lived so long 90's was home-cooked. I diet and exercise and any Authentic Italian Recipes the real way Italy Style would be happy to share with you. I will try this out. Looks Excellent 👌

    Proud of you got the brown marks on top which the key is a sprinkle or Parmigiano Reggiano. As far as next day even better Spaghetti unless you do it right in a imported REAL EVOO so many Fakes out there you can bring back the flavor in any leftover pasta except Alfredo, or a Carbonara and never ever any heavy cream.

    I've made these egg noodles before. I add a tbsp or so of finely grated Parmesan cheese and a dash of garlic powder to the egg base along with the almond flour. The cheese structures the noodles a bit more and along with the garlic powder, gives them a garlic bread like flavor. Who doesn't love garlic bread with lasagna?

    I use the egg life wraps as my lasagna noodle. They are basically egg whites and xathan gum. So good

    I’m 100% Sicilian and that looks like the real deal! All the layers and the egg noodles, can’t wait to try it! To answer your question, yes, lasagna tastes just as good, if not better, the next day! My dad, who recently passed, would take a slice of bread and place it on top the leftover lasagna and cut around the bread, he would then top it with another slice of bread and eat it that way the next day. He would always say, “now this is a quality sandwich!” 😂😂😂

    I've made this to freeze . Using a full ,oven-sized sheet pan, my "noodles" were super thin. Maybe I will try thicker ones next time . I'm so curious to cook it but wonder what the cooking time is from frozen. Thanks for the great recipes !

    Just about anything tastes better the next day. My Mom’s Calabacita is so so good the next day. It’s KETO and delish. Everyone thinks so.

    This looks good! I always use cottage cheese in place of ricotta and you can't taste the difference.

      I just wanted to ask, people are saying it’s fluffy pasta? I like Al dente. I won’t eat overcooked pasta. So can you clarify where on the scale this lands? I’d be so grateful!

      @@momhair1709 I've only done it once so far but it definitely doesn't have any "bite" to it. You can tell its in there though, in a good way. I wonder if you could do more almond flour or add a half Tbs of gelatin to make it more noticeable.. I'm not sure!

    What kind of sauce are you using? You say marinara and that you did not prepare, would that not be considered keto because of the added sugar?

    Try cooking with salt and sugar at the same time. It gives food a taste, for lack of better terminology, of both sweet and salty at the same time.
