For the longest time the North Carolina worked for me it holds my second highest standard battle damage it was first but Missouri dethroned it but the North Cal is still very good
I like the NC too, for some reason I can't the hang of 16"/50s, but 16"/45s work just fine.

Had a match Tuesday with 3 Florida's in a division together on the enemy team. They stuck so close together it looked like one giant fat ship.

I don’t know what’s wrong with my NC. Like i know it’s a good ship but every time i give this ship another chance because i know it’s a good ship, i always get the worst dispersion possible. Every game. Never can hit a target, doesn’t matter what range. I run a sniper build and i definitely know how to aim. Still great video Spartan👍🏻

Hey, Spartan, as a community contributor, are you able to have any sway in Wargaming's decisions? The reason why I am asking is because the North Carolina is one of my favorite ships to play in. However, I am really wanting for WoW: Legends to have historic camoflouge option for the North Carolina.

In defense of going broadsides, if a ship has four turrets you are talking about using only half of your offensive capabilities, where as a ship with three turrets means you get to use two-thirds of it.
For ships that have three twin turrets you are looking at 4 versus 6 guns.
So yeah, you are exposing your citadel, but you are either doubling the number of guns on target, or putting a reasonable number of rounds down range.
Life is about tradeoffs.
In this case though you are right, that they screwed up, they would have had 8 x 15" and 6 x 11" versus 6 x 16" guns if they had turned in. They could have even gone broadside with the ship that wasn't engaged and added two or four more guns to the exchange.
Anyone who uses GN or SCRN as 35,000-ton DDs deserves what they get.
Proper angling and learning when to bring full firepower to bear is very important
However, going broadside in this game almost never works even if you get more guns on target. Even for German BB’s that almost never get citadeled, they will take massive damage due to lots of penetrations.
The exception to avoiding going broadside is light cruisers, which if close enough to the enemy, can cheese the shit out of the overpenetration mechanic
