I especially like the mint sauce recipe too, thank you! I'm looking forward to trying this one. Can i mix the marinade ingredients without a mortar and pestle if i don't have one?
@sharmisscooking. Thanks for the recipe. It looks simple. Instead of putting in an oven, can we cook the lamb in a pressure cooker? How it gonna turn out? Have you ever tried? My oven is broken
Yum! I get worried about overmarination, but the goat recipes I've done haven't softened the meat overmuch. Next time I do lamb chops (and can afford them), it'll definitely be in this style!
Around 220 c for 15 mins approx. But you have to trial I an air fryer as it depends on the air fryer, chops etc. It's easy to get dry or overcooked in an air fryer so you have to be careful. All the best 🙂👍❤️❤️
I ended up roasting some meat masala which had all the main spices you used, and I left it marinating as long as possible. With some ginger garlic paste, didn’t have green chilies. But I used red chili paste instead, and it was so delicious. 😁 Served it with some mint chutney and jeera basmati rice and my family finished it before I could have any. 😅 My son loved it. Thanks for the recipe!
Looks amazing, SharMiss! Here is my take on the recipe: Indian Lamb Chops by SharMissCooking ua-cam.com/video/jFywIgetl40/v-deo.html INGREDIENTS: Lamb Chops: 1 KG (2.2 lbs) Marinade: • 1 tbsp coriander powder • 1 tsp cumin powder • 1 tsp garam masala • 2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder • 1 tsp onion powder • 1 tsp chilli flakes (as per taste) • 4 cloves of garlic • 1 inch ginger • (Can be replaced with store bought ginger garlic paste or powder. For powder use 2 tsp ginger powder and 1 tsp garlic powder) • 1 tbsp fresh coriander (can be replaced with parsley) • 1.5 tsp salt (adjust as per taste) • neutral oil • 2 green chilies (optional) Directions 1. Grate ginger, garlic, chilies, chopped coriander and mix all the spices to get the marinade. Add oil till the marinade gets a nice wet, smooth, thick paste. Marinate lamb in paste, coating the lamb evenly. Marinate at least 30 minutes. 2. Preheat oven to 400F 3. Heat oven safe pan (e.g. cast iron) to smoking hot, heat oil and then add the chops. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side to get nice sear. Note: if you have thin chops, just finish them in the pan - they will overcook in the oven. 4. Put in oven for about 5 minutes, then remove and remove the chops from the pan to stop hearing For MINT SAUCE: • 2 to 3 tbsp coriander/cilantro • 1 tbsp mint (use twice the amount of coriander/cilantro as mint) • 1 clove garlic • 1 green chili • Lemon juice • 4 tbsp yogurt • Salt to taste Combine all except yogurt and grind in mortar and pestle or use food processor. Add yogurt and mix well. Serve with lamb.

We all have our own preferences, but lamb is always delicious, as long as you stop somewhere short of cremation. Did you think your comment was helpful?

All these things could have easily been done in a he chopper. All these utube cooks use it e hand chopping and hand grinding. It’s all drama just trying to impress people. What are the machines for. I’m am a very good cook myself and I always grind and chop everything in the machines and it doesn’t make any difference in the taste. Cook it in the air fryer. It’s healthier and quicker.😉
Then go & do it for yourself, why are u wasting your time on utube.. It's so easy to criticize, but hard to appreciate when someone is taking initiative to do.
Maybe be more respectful and just don't comment if you have nothing good to say? This lady has invested time and effort to share her ideas, if it doesn't work for you, don't watch...
Thank you so much for listing all of the ingredients, including the amount of salt. I will definitely try these as they look gorgeous.
Thanks 🙂❤️❤️

I tried . It was so delicious ❤❤
Thanks for the update 🙂👍❤️❤️❤️
Looks delicious; would you see any issue with chucking them on the barby instead of frying/ovening?
Should be fine. 👍❤️❤️
This looks and sounds amazing
Thanks 🙂❤️❤️

Just pan fry it. It will be fine. Don't overcook it otherwise it may become chewy 👍❤️❤️
Looks delicious! How long do you tend to let the marinade soak for?
Just 30 mins is good enough for lamb chops 🙂❤️❤️

Nicely done as always. Cheers for the idea about using frozen chilies… a real “game changer” 👍👍👍
There’s nothing “game changing” about using frozen chilis. I wish people would think before they type or speak.🙄🤦♂️🤷♂️
I am trying this today for hosting a dinner at home
Hope it came out well 👍❤️❤️❤️
Looks delicious 🤤
I’m making this for dinner tonight! I’ll update you! ❤😊
Thanks. Hopefully turns out great 😊🤞❤️❤️

Can you freeze them? If so what’s the best method to re-heat them up?
Yes you can in an air tight container and reheat in a pan. But best is to have it fresh 🙂❤️❤️
Looks Definitely delicious ❤😊
Thank you. 🙂❤️❤️
No Youghut or lemon juice in the marinade ?
Could you show us how you make Gulab Jamun? Thank you
Thanks for the suggestion. Soon 🙂❤️❤️
Instead of oven... Can we use frying pan? How many minutes it has to be cooked?
Yes. It will depend on the thickness of your chops, but 3 mins on one side 2 mins on the other side will generally work. 👍🙂❤️❤️
morter and pestle gives a fresh flavour
👍❤️❤️
Lovely, thank you.
👍❤️❤️
Must make
👍❤️❤️
If I use garlic paste and separate ginger paste , then is it 1 tablespoon of each ? Would a teaspoon be ok instead ?
You can add up to 2 tsp of each for 1 kg of chops. 👍❤️❤️
Thanks
You are welcome. 🙂👍❤️❤️
Is it spicy ? 1-10

That's not loin chops.
Simple method; 20 spices...? lol

You cannot replace corriander with parsley 😂😅
🙂
Sure you can! It is easy!
You can.
@cmab391 clearly you do not know the difference in your erbs 😊 each to their own they say!
They look overcooked... use the oven!!!

Sure if it was someone from your background you would have been gushing. Please stop bullying. Stop watching. Go watch your own people
Sounds like you know everything. Go make your own video
And have folks comment on what a buffoon you are 😂
If you cannot appreciate the talent and skill in people, go for counselling! Don't bitch.
That's a bit harsh. Theatre when cooking is her type of content. She even said you can use a mixer grinder.
Then go & do it for yourself, why are u wasting your time on utube..

These look like rib chops, not loin chops.
It was labeled as loin chops 🙂❤️
looks good. and expensive . was that 30 bucks worth of lamb? or more
Thank you. It wasn't that expensive. I can't remember exactly though 🙂👍❤️
Lamb has natural fat no need to add so much oil unessecirialy
