** DISCLAIMER ** I made a mistake with my recording settings and wound up with a video I couldn't use in my editing software. This is a much rougher cut I put together in UA-cam Studio, please bear with me this time. I'll be sure to have a better setup for the next one. I hope you enjoy it anyways!
Great Icarus content, and you're doing fantastic! It's fun to watch. One suggestion: Your audio is too soft. Look for an Audio gain adjustment in your video software. I recommend boosting to peaks -1 dB. For example: I normally have my computer sound set to 20 out of 100 and I have to turn it up to 60 to watch your videos.
I'm still working through my settings, I'll definitely try boosting the audio in later parts!

Hahah thank you. The next one has problems again... but I finally have it set up where I can play in full screen on a separate monitor, so no more window issues after the next episode!
I love your vids. Hey, a couple things. Boars can be found in the transition region of M10/N10 where you found the Moas. Be careful as there are also bears in that zone. You can also find boars in the O11/O12/N12 valley, along the river. Also, for whatever reason, other predators have a chance of dropping prime meats, including bacon. Maybe they ate a pig??? Keep 'em coming.
Oh that's good to know! I will be moving off of Olympus into Prometheus soon, but when I decide to return I'll definitely go hunting for some bacon.

The potbelly stove actually has two recipes using bacon that give a 15% exp buff.

idk all the details behind it but i also have to turn your vids way up. with that being said love the videos though i had also put little over hundred hours in this game a while ago just coming back to it and kind of following along with you to refresh the brain.
Thank you, yes I'm still working through everything but the later parts should be slightly better! I'm also going to get a new mic soon so I can balance the audio better.

I do prefer non edited game play but I understand why people enjoy it.
I'll try to keep a balance of longer unedited parts, and editing through the more boring things like mining tons of ore and rocks

I’m with Hipkin on this one. Games like Icarus are made for long. Unedited or barely edited vids. I used to watch flipsie play Icarus with capac, and others at times, were great vids some over 4 hrs long, sadly they stopped making Icarus ones for the time being, right before the major power network update. And all the other major changes and improvements since the weeks before that.

Enjoying your playthrough so far, re: pronouncing some of the Māori words like Tawhiri - WH is an F sound, so it would be closer to TA-FEH-RI and the R's are rolled :)

Oh, in the first vid of this series how you talked about long, live gameplay. For games like Icarus. I prefer long, unedited. Or barely edited videos, but it’s how ever you want to make them.

I just started playing and on your map in one parts of video I see a marker on it in shape of house, all I can figure out is double click so can have 1 marker only at time. Is that a mod or some other way doing that?
That is a "portable beacon" which I got from one of the SIMPLE quests. At 0:43 it is that little device on the ground next to the stone pile.
You can also craft these, I believe in tier 3. If you interact with the beacon you can change the icon. A
