B3313 0.9 - Red Star in Dark Whomp's Fortress

- Finding this Lobby is inconsistent. Once you load up the game, you don't always start in the same Castle Grounds, sometimes you will end up in the day time variant, sometimes the nighttime variant. I ended up in the nightime variant in this case, once I entered the front double doors, I ended up here. But do note, it doesn't always happen. This is my second encounter of this area. Oh, and in the second half of the stage... once the timer hits 40 seconds, you lose a life.
B3313 is a Super Mario 64 romhack that uses beta elements and explores themes of the "Internal Castle Plexus"
I remember a ROM hack a couple of years ago that had the plot that the game world was disappearing. I feel like this area and the dark castle grounds are a reference to that.
There's a few references to other hacks. There's this nighttime city level that's from another hack I played and there's references to Breaking The Barrier by Marionova

When I started playing a new version, the first thing I was when entered the castle was this. Cool, huh?
And when I entered the painting I understood everything and was be like "What sm64.z6 is doing in my B3313?"
And then I got scared when saw a timer
my experience with this lobby was
> "why were there some green tiles outside the castle door"
> i leave the castle
> try to mess around with the green tiles, no result
> go back to the castle
> Where door go
this is like some weird alternate timeline
2:12 this is impossible to do on keyboard, I keep trying to make mario do a side jump, and all I'm doing is hurting my wrists
It’s pretty difficult on keyboard. Pretty much, you can’t go straight to the opposite direction. I’ve noticed pressing diagonally forward then the direction you want helps.
E.g. D -> WD -> A
What the red stars does in the game, its open new areas? If yes, that's crazy
They unlock new abilities for Mario. Long jump, backflip, ect. They're also for unlocking the end of the game but you can't do that in this update as most red stars count as regular stars.

Funny how in some levels that star at the top doesn't spawn until you actually reach the top, not sure exactly why some levels are like that but I assume there is a reason for that. Nice to know this has a red star in it either way, need to actually go and get it next time I get put into this lobby. Also I know this game is like a 'beta' themed hack but they should fix the cannon hole at 0:48 (aka remove it). If you actually fall down that cannon hole for whatever reason it's impossible to get out without start+A'ing out. It's not an issue once you know that, you dont even have to go there, but if you do you just get stuck and have to warp out.
You can get out of the cannon hole by side flipping and then wall jumping . Thats how i got out
