Important information: There's a slight difference between a2 and a1 version. In a2, the red star in The Star has been turned into a regular star, while in an area called wf.z64 there is now a red star that wasn't there in a1. Please keep that in mind.
Now here's some tips: If anyone is having troubles with Imperfect Sanctuary Lobby star, then be aware that the place you get transported to depends on RNG (Just like Eel Graveyard if you aren't using a method to get there much faster and RNG-free guaranteed, continue reading the comment to find the method). You can try using savestates to get lucky and be transported to the real version, but if you don't want to, then you have to get there every single time you get to the fake version. The fake version doesn't have glow in the left and right pits, the doors are blocked by metal cubes and Peach doesn't say "Mario" at all.
You can get to Eel Graveyard much faster and RNG-free guaranteed! When you start the game you have to make sure you're in Daytime Castle Grounds, if so then go to the Castle Grounds Pond and go to the edge of it, and then jump out-of-bonds to get there.
To get to 7:38 The Star, specifically fast travel until the leftmost doors are 3 on the left and 1 to the right of that, then look at the ceiling.
You can get to the Eel Graveyard via the castle grounds pond also. Just go to the edge and swim/hop past the world border.

@@user-iy6dt4xp5o I tried it on the newest unofficial one (The one called Unabandoned Hotfix Fix), worked perfectly fine for me. Someone just forgot to edit it. There's a discord server under the Unabandoned trailer made by TheGreatestRoman, you can go there and tell people about this mistake

Out of curiosity, does getting all of the red stars make the "you're not worthy" pit behave any different?
I get you need all of the red stars to get to the endgame area but not sure if they enable something else in different areas
I checked the "You're not worthy" pit with all 13 red stars and it's literally the same. Maybe getting all the yellow stars in the hack changes something? Although I don't really have time to collect them all so who knows.
@@LemonLover110 aww, that's unfortunate, thought they would have hidden something cool inside of there but I guess it just acts as yet another way to go back to the main lobby area

How do you start the game at night? I play it the same way you do, that is, emulator, rom, but it doesn't work for me, that is, not even changing the time, and I have that doubt, because I know that everything is different at night
You need to collect 3 red stars in order for night time to work. Hope that helps!

I think the Imperfect Sanctuary lobby is night/day triggered cause I went during night, and even with going through the left door, I got the fake star that takes you back to plexal lobby. Just went during the day, and got the one with the red star.
Apologies for any confusion, apparently it's RNG based. I checked during the day and sometimes when I entered the left door I would get transported to the fake version instead of the real one and the same thing would happen with the right door, either fake or real. Same thing happens during the night on both doors, it's either fake or real. I will make a comment about this and pin it to not cause confusion, have a great day!

Im a bit confused on "the star" one, i got to it and did it but the star appeared as a yellow one instead of red, do you know if that was a bug and it counted or smth changed?
Where did you get your version of B3313 and what .bps file was named?
@@LemonLover110 it was the most recent unabandoned version, i actually managed o look some more stuff up about it and apparently that star did get changed to a yellow one

Hello there, i collected all the red stars, so my question is: I need to go somewhere in specific?
Is it a step to achieve the end of the game?
I know the red stars give's you habilities, but at the same time changes random things like blue/red/purple goombas and unlocks some new places, i think you get the point.
So if you want to beat the game you have to find Peach Floor, there will be a door that requiers you 33 Yellow stars. You will reach a certain area at the end that requires you 13 Red stars. You can find info about that area on the B3313 Wiki if you can't find it yourself, good luck on beating the game!

So I got this recently and I've progressed to about nearly 40 stars, but for some reason every time I complete The Star, my star is Yellow and not red, I can't seem to get the red version?
The reason as to why it happens is because sometime after I made this video a new version of B3313 Unabandoned released with prefix "a2". In order to get all red stars in that version you have to visit area called wf.z64. The painting to that area sometimes appears when you go through main castle doors.

Not related to the topic but what software did you use to record this
Usually I record using OBS on my computer but since I recorded this on my phone I used AZ Screen Recorder. Changed some settings for better presentation, like turning on hiding the floating button option during a record, and turning on an option for stopping a video by shaking your phone.
So does it make it so that Randomized Realm (or Eternal Fort) is accessible with all 13 Red Stars instead of night time?
If you mean if you can get to Randomized realm with 13 red stars then yes. You just need to have 33 yellow stars in order to unlock the double door there.

Wow you must have had good timing to get the red star in Mario’s maze before it kills you have to have a good RNG to get to that red star because that Mario in Mario’s maze can KO you real quick
Tbh it actually doesn't depend on the RNG, you can long jump forward and avoid the Faceless Mario's with the control stick while you're long jumping. Still, thanks for the comment and have a great day!

This was a sound in the original beta of Super Mario 64 that was ment to reprisent Peach crying for help or something along those lines. You can find footage of this occuring in the original beta here: ua-cam.com/video/2A3nBJWoIVs/v-deo.html
I guess it makes sense, because in the original game after collecting 8 stars the textbox at the end says something about Peach crying for help, yet another fact for a beloved game that not many people know.
What do the red stars actually do. Other than the first one giving the player more moves and rooms...
The first two give you Mario’s full moveset. As you collect more, some locked doors get unlocked, you lose the regen ability you start with, enemies spawn where they didn’t before. You need all 13 to reach the end of the game.
There's also Real Time Clock that activates after 3 red stars iirc. It basically changes the skybox and atmosphere of the level from day to night based on your computers clock, instruments also change to Music Box for almost every single song in the game (with exceptions) and I think the fog in levels changes to blue.
This looks cooler than the original. How do I get it?

No red coins were showing up in wonderland woods, was I doing anything wrong?
The only theory I have on why this happened is probably because you pressed the Yellow Switch. It can change the size of the map on X and Y coordinates but it can also stretch it. Maybe they just sunk into the geometry of the level. Have you tried getting the red star on a new file or on your main one after you restarted the game? Maybe it could work
@@LemonLover110 i just tried going into it again in the same file, still no coins. thats actually crazy if the yellow switch locks the player out of getting a star that is needed for beating the game though; maybe i should try pressing the yellow switch again and see what happens. thanks dude
Edit: i just realized i never pressed the yellow switch in the main palace through the pipe in the hedge maze, i had pressed the other one which is fake. i just now pressed the real one and tried again, still no red coins. im not sure whats wrong, but if you or anyone else has any theories, let me know

There is a similar video to my one made by BikdipOnABus ua-cam.com/video/FxgllQ_dFlc/v-deo.html although that was for 0.9, so I made one for Unabandoned for those who want to complete the game. I do know about the wiki and that there's a list of the Red Stars and where to get them but I wanted to do it in a video form so people could understand where to go, it happens sometimes that they can be confused as to where they need to go. This hack looks so weird. Why is the castle so large? Whats the lore here?
This hack is based on the infamous "internal castle plexus" mythology and the vanilla game's cut content. You can find out more about this by checking out the B3313 wiki, though it contains spoilers to the hack so be careful. You can also google "Super Mario 64 Internal Catle Plexus" to find out more about the theory itself.
To download this unoffical improvement of this hack go here romhacking.com/hack/b3313-unabandoned There's the initial release at the bottom of the download section, hotfix in the middle, and the original OST made by wasteofblood on the top. The middle version's OST isn't really good, the reason why it was changed is because of wasteofblood threatening copyright on the devs, it didn't go anywhere tho but they decided to change the songs in that version just in case. Can't do anything about it. Try savestating before the ? Painting and keep loading your state back until you get there. Good luck!
I had the same issues there, but I kept reloading and reloading for about 4 or 5 minutes until I got there.
I forgot to add this to my comment so here it is: You can also try punching around the area and bodyslide too so you can generate as much dust as possible, you can manipulate RNG that way until you get the value for the Mr. I Maze.

There's a guaranteed way in: go to Vanilla Basement, approach the fake star then go to the door that would normally lead to the moat
By the way I should also say that the red star in Star was removed and got replaced by the wf.z64 red star.
That is only present in a2 version. I made this guide when a1 version was the newest one. The description has this information already included

@@FlipyxlPlaysThat means you're playing on 0.9, this video was made on the Unabandoned version which is a more fixed version of 0.9. Red stars work there unlike in 0.9 because that version was released because main developer got some health issues at that time and so that version wasn't ment to be relased to public, he's fine btw (Atleast I hope so)

Weird. Never heard anyone having this issue. The closest thing that came to my mind about this was about a red star in The Star being yellow instead of being red, but that's because a2 version changed it and there's now a red star in wf.z64 in that version, but a yellow star here? Weird.

What emulator are you using?
I would normally use Parallel Launcher for this but I used a modified version of Mupen64 for Android that allows you to run hacks that are larger than 64MB. I got it in a Discord server from the Unabandoned version release trailer video on UA-cam , it was in a channel that had cores that you can download for Parallel Launcher. Wouldn't reccomend you staying there for long but it's your choice tbh.
