There's something oddly beautiful about the parallel lobby. Maybe it's because the music, maybe it's because is a pleasant area that gives you a rest from all the creepy stuff... Or maybe it's because it's my 10 YO self dream come true: More Mario 64 to explore. Feeling lost once again in a game I know like my right hand is kinda nostalgic.
Concuerdo totalmente, yo de niño también soñé que jugaba Mario 64 y llegué a explorar varias habitaciones alternativas del castillo que no existen en el juego original 😮❤
Easiest Way (1.0.2): 1. Head to the Plexal Lobby by dying in Plexal Upstairs. 2. Make a left to get to Vanilla Lobby. 3. Head to the Princess’s Secret Slide room and continue straight ahead through the middle stained glass 4. Enter the double doors
Awesome to know that pretty much everything is within reach. I dont think its possible for them to organize the game in a way that everything is accessible easily from the start of the game, so the best option is to just know the path and take a minute and hope you don't die when you get there and get booted out of the lobby. Also I have a bit of a wishlist for a final release on this mod but what I'm hoping they focus on is making areas like this less laggy, probably more important than anything else we could ask for when they finalize it. I actually wonder what makes the area(s) so laggy in the first place?
Could simply be down to the amount of polygons. There are quite a few unnecessary hallways in that area and it is decently big. But yeah hopefully it's fixed by the time 1.0 is finished.
@@BrandonSMB Yeah, im sure we all have a massive wishlist for 1.0 but its way more important they fix things and just touch things up rather than add more areas. The game is already so massive enough. In Chris's update vid he says a decomp port is in the works, so im assuming theyre going to run through things to reduce lag and make it easier for emus to handle as well or its just even possible that you could emulate the decomp port (assumign that gets finished) and emulate that version with no lag whatsoever.
@@clovisii9366ik this is 2 weeks later but i hope theres an extra menu that shows you how many red stars u have. I think i have 3 and need 7 more to get to the final fight against bowser but theres nothing in game that shows you, i shouldve written it down but it was just a blind playthrough. Eh no worries, still a really cool rom hack
steps: 1. Get to Beta Lobby B (1234 on the doors) 2. Go to the Plexal Lobby using the backyard 3. Go in the pipe on the left of you from Plexal Lobby 4. From Vanilla Lobby, go in the slider room and go through the Peach stained glass in front of you

That method is in my updated video.
This place is like a forgotten dream
This looks like something I dreamed before
Yo también he soñado con habitaciones alternativas del castillo de Mario 64

Thea made the lag on purpose so it feels like ur playing on real hardware
you can also go to vanilla lobby, go to secret slide room BUT go into the middle portrait, watch your step bc you CAN fall and boom parallel
I honestly prefer taking the vanilla lobby route when entering the parallel lobby.
Anybody else get a little creeped out by this? Something about it idk.
Laggylallel Lobby
The question is... Why Parallel Lobby its so laggy?
That kind of questions doesn't let me sleep. 😶
Not something to lose sleep over. There's simply too much stuff for the game to handle.
Use the parallel launcher emulator instead of the Project 64 one
A mi no me aparece esa habitación amarilla en el juego que yo tengo 😢
so is the parallel lobby in 0.7?
No
steps:
1. Get to Beta Lobby B (1234 on the doors)
2. Go to the Plexal Lobby using the backyard
3. Go in the pipe on the left of you from Plexal Lobby
4. From Vanilla Lobby, go in the slider room and go through the Peach stained glass in front of you
I prefer the royal lobby method because you dont lose a life
