The fiesta has a DPS6 trans. That is completely fine about it going into gear. The brake pedal makes it go into neutral. There is no torque converter. It uses a clutch pack. So, that is what it does.
Yeah there junk. I replace the clutch packs all the time at the dealership I work at. Got so good at doing them that I can do the fiesta and focus clutch packs in less then 2 hrs.

2000 Nissan Maxima’s are timing chains. Which mine lasted 300,000 miles! Loved my maxima
I think the tensioner for the chain is the weakness for those cars. My 04 maxima is at 175K miles and pretty sure the timing chain is original. I don’t know what model years apply for the tensioner weakness but just putting that out there
My sister's Maxima went 250K before the transmission finally went ... chain held strong for the life of the car

Definitely get the Ford Fiesta!
Last week I purchased a 2014 Ford Focus SE from my local Copart in Phoenix, AZ. I've just about got it all fixed up (should be completed by Monday). It was just like the Fiesta (except less damage), it only needed front cosmetic repairs + the crash bar.
Another thing, the Fiesta has a DCT transmission (basically an automatic shifting manual), when you put the car in 'D' or 'R' it won't jerk/lunge into gear like a CVT. The clutch is open until you let your foot off the brake and give it a little gas, then the clutches slowly close (just like a manual, except the car does the work for you *hence, automatic shifting manual*)
Last thing, your correct about the Fiesta repair costs, it will run you about $1,500-$2,000 to fix in parts alone. I'm not as knowledgeable as you about the different places I can buy replacement parts (such as carparts.com), but I spent about $1,300 in parts repairing my Ford Focus, all repair parts were purchased from Rock Auto.com. like you said it's tough to find parts for late model cars at junk yards.

🏎 *Crossfire* 🏎 started in 1982. GM of course didn’t make an ‘83 model Vette. The Crossfire carried thru to 1984 with the premier of the C4; all badged up _”Crossfire Injection”_ emblems but unfortunately waaay underpowered due to emissions regulations 😢👎😢. BUT with the right tuning & mods they can put out some decent power... owned 2 of them thru the years.

The fiesta and focus have the dual clutch automatic and I have a focus and you don’t feel them go into gear like a torque converter transmission. When you take your foot off the brake, the clutches are engaging and that’s why it seems slow

The fiesta and focus have a dry dual clutch transmission (automated manual) and thus do not have transmission fluid and the fiesta doesnt exactly go into gear like you'd except with a conventional fluid drive transmission. When you have your foot on the break and inching forward it's slipping the clutch

That 2000 Maxima has a VQ30DE engine. I learned something new today... I am a Nissan guy and I thought I had a good grasp on the engines, but I had to look that one up. I didn't know they even made a 3.0L VQ engine... The VQ series are timing chain. The older VG series engines were timing belt.

Randy, I don't know if they sell well in OKLAHOMA, but that VW Eurovan is a model MV Weekender with a pop-up top. Not many made and in demand by T4 enthusiasts. Do a search and you'll see what I mean. That one looks to be in pretty good condition. I'm not sure what the pop-up top fabric looks like. Maybe that's why the dealer couldn't sell it.

The "slow" shifting on the ford is perfectly normal nad nothing to worries
That Chevy truck with all the bullet holes looks like it was hit with an SMG type gun and it probably involved either drugs or gangs...….
Buddy of mine bought a truck where someone had committed suicide inside the vehicle, the body wasn’t found for a few days, completely redid the interior and is using it as a daily to this day

I'm watching this a bit late but the Euro Van is a hot ticket truck. Big money for those who love them. YES, the top lifts up so that you can stand up inside it. Used as a camper style truck, I wish you had bid on that one!

The plug on the battery on the Porsche is for a battery tender. Keeps battery topped up when car isn't being driven a lot.

You can go 2 hours and I would still watch it I enjoy watching you go around with cars it gives me a lot of information so if I go buy a car I know what to look for and how to look for it so even if it was 3 hours I would watch it but I watch this one in different times of the day but I watched it a little bit of all day long thank you for the videos that you do make good day

Buy the bullet hole truck, a little filler and paint will be good to go, haha. Get an industrial ozone machine, it will kill every bio in that truck.
I saw a Ford Escort at the pick n pull lot in KC, was worse than that truck. It had many more bullet holes in the back window, trunk and even in the roof. One hole went right through the driver headrest. Looked like the kill shot to me. It didn't stay in the lot long, they put it in the car crusher. No one wanted any parts off of it.
1:36:00 that VW Euro Van is like the Westfalia. Except no kitchen. And yes the top goes up and expands into another sleeper up top. Basically beginner's a tent on top of the car plus the conversion bed in the back so they usually sleep 4 to 6 people. Those vans sell TOP Dollar Right now because so many people want it for camping, and also got people who want to do the whole VanLife thing that's really popular right now. You can make more money in that car then any other car in this video. Especially the way that thing was running.
I'd go for the fiesta. That car received a face lift in 2014, but the car is essentially the same since the introduction in 2011. I have a 2018 base model with a manual transmission and it's a great car.

One of the worst transmissions ever placed in a car. 2012 forward with that auto trans in the Focus and Fiesta are completely hosed and Ford knows this but has no repair that solves the issue permanently and has not ever issued a recall for it. Great cars if you get the manual but with the automatic, even after receiving s settlement from Ford, I still ended up upside down by $6500 at time of trade in as they have no real value due to this and mine was 3 years old .. that was with the best offer from any lot around here
With those transmissions it's kinda luck of the draw I guess. I have a 2011 Fiesta wih 104k on it with the "powershift" transmission and I've never had an issue with it. However I maintain my car meticulously (not inferring you didn't I know how bad they can be) and it has had both recalls of the clutch and control module replaced and there's kinda a trick with driving it as to not eat the clutch but oh well.

The fiesta would be a cheap fixed. You can get replacement head lights for 120 on eBay . Priced it all out including from bumper support and braces for around 1200 bucks

That's effing crazy usually when the car is a crime scene it gets crushed whether it's homicide or its the massive amounts of drugs getting found in the car it gets crushed I don't understand how anyone would even think of selling a cursed vehicle with human remains still in it smh

On the Fiesta, the transmission is Ford's PowerShift DCT, so it does feel different, and it does take a few extra seconds to go into gear, plus by 17 they've worked the issues out of it, my mother in law has a 2011 Fiesta and it's been a wonderful car minus the powershift being replaced by Ford at 80k, but it shifts great now.

Man, there were a lot of cars to like in this one! I REALLY liked that Eurovan. That was very, very nice, I am pretty sure it is a camper van like the old Westfalia VW micro buses and there are a lot of people who live in their vans nowadays so I bet there is a great market for it. I also liked both of the MKZs that you showed the Fiesta and the Spark. The Focus might be worth a gamble, too. I can't wait to see what you end up buying!
Eurovan in Europe this car is called Transporter. This version is very luxurious.
The 81/82 Vette is by far my favorite but this one has some major frame damage. I can tell you from experience (I've built several) that the only way to make that car right again is to do a body-off restoration and thats a ton of work and very expensive. On the lighter side, the damage is not horrible and to the person who wants to take his time and do it right, it's a perfect.

The Porsche is a real go-kart, worth getting it fixed, if just to have a bit of fun driving it.
The windshield on those Mercedes S classes start at 1200 up to 2000 bucks easy. Definitely a deal buster
The porsche isnt as bad as people say. Buy it if it goes cheap, you wont regret it. A buy it now of 2500 is a great deal.
It's worth putting a transmission in for that price. You will make a nice profit from that deal.
