It's incredibly annoying to hear people complain about the work you are doing considering the fact that you literally have to lie down on the filthy floor just to get a shot of an angle for us that you yourself can't even see. Man ignore those criticts and keep doing the good work
On the 3400 in the Impala, the sound you're hearing is a rocker arm. The threads for the rocker arm bolt have pulled out of the head. You can remove the valve cover, helicoil it and put it back together. People often mis diagnose this sound. Usually happens when the heads have been replaced and someone over torques the rocker bolts. Super easy if it the front, a little harder if it's the back. Everyone I have done has been a back one.
I enjoyed watching this, it reminded me of the 10 or so years I bought and fixed from salvage sales. I tried my best to only buy rear damaged cars when possible. A friend and I bought a frame machine, a paint booth, and all the other equipment and stole 3 good body men from shops around town and started fixing our own cars. I still bought from Manheim's regular sale, but I liked fixing the wreck ones the best. Keep plugging and posting for us, Thanks.
Yeah everybody leave this guy alone he does a great job I'm presenting videos it's a lot of work so let's please just give him a break seems like a great guy nice family back off give him some room let the man breathe
Wow 90 minutes, I gotta watch this in segments as an Uber driver. Copart walkaround is your best content of the week!!! I like the Camaro, police car and maybe the Kia. Good luck on Auction day. I'm sorry about the haters Randy. I still say your work ethic is your best teachable quality.
Randy take it from a guy who knows from experience . keep doing what you're doing , buying and flipping doubling your money, and building what you have started. you will get there, it takes time ! 😎
Been watching this for hours now and can't bring myself to changing it. You're comments are both entertaining and educational. It seriously amazes me that no one has offered you your own program on T.V. Wow!!!
Copart is great, view all the cars before you buy. I'll save you a bunch of headaches in the future, I know I used to tow to copart. The quick flip is the way to go it's just easier money to collect. Problem with that place is there's too many broken beyond what most small shops can handle. Stick with the small and easy keep buying equipment for the shop that'll make your jobs easier. Pass on the people complaining it's just not worth it, I can already see your stress by it, dude just let it go...one thing I've learned life is"you just can't please everybody!" why bother!!!! Pick the cars and truck you know you can fix quick, then turn and burn! Traction control is what that button is for, I had other fords that had that, but it and flip that truck. 4 wheel drive is much better, especially if your in a bad area or snow, believe me it pays forward. Good luck and keep up the videos, I'll be watching.

Your very positive role model and your helping normal people understand the basics of rebuildable vehicles. Keep up the good work. If you ever in Portland OR area again. Look me up. Keep up the good work. Dont worry about the haters. Good job.
Some haters don't understand that you need money to start, and quickly flipping simple cars is the best way, next he will have some spare money to work and buy parts for an actual rebuild. You're doing good randy, keep up the good work. Only those who don't do anything can't understand
Just found this channel. Love you guys for working in a small shop with some Harbor Freight tools like 90% of the rest of us out here wrenching in our driveways. Keep it up, I'm in!
Most people do not have a clue of the extent of running a business. A couple of bad decisions can really get you in trouble. It is hard as heck to get a business going. Ten percent inspiration and ninety percent perspiration.
If you want torque for towing, why not look at a Diesel truck? The big block gas trucks get poor fuel economy compared to the same displacement Diesel truck.
@@fordnut4914 They run a long time but when something breaks, parts are expensive as hell and need trained workers. There's a reason a lot of diesel mechanics drive gas trucks for themselves.
@@bigpjohnson I'm not a diesel mechanic they really ain't much different to work on than anything else but the parts are little more expensive. But diesel are better for pulling things more efficiently They put them in big rigs and bigger industrial applications for a good reason they can work longer continuous hours in more severe conditions than gas. But they both gas and diesel have their pros and cons.
In our area Impala's are all over the place. However the bodies are usually shot and rotted out. That would make for a killer engine/trans swap. That Crown Victoria is super nice and an easy fix! With headlights that clean you know it was taken care of by the department.
