- @carservicepro Interior lights wont turn on when you open the front passenger door on this 2007 Chevy Tahoe, the issue was the door lock actuator, after I replaced it everything went back to normal and the lights now are working, this fix applies to different years, make and models,
the door actuator usually send signal to the BCM of what position the door is closed or open and based on this information the BCM sends different commands depending on what car you are working on.

I got Taheo 2010 .. the problem wit the doom light doesn't go off when close the door .. lights always on when driving .. also the center lock operated by itself how to solve this fault
Unfortunately when it comes to electrical failure there is no straight forward answer due to the multiple components involved in this function and professional diagnostic required to test the wiring, module, relays, fuses and etc and without proper diagnosis you can't pinpoint the cause, however the most common cause is the door lock actuator "door latch" and body control module.
try the " dome off " button on the left hand side of the steerin wheel, its right above the fog light button. if that doesnt do it, im not sure just an idea im throwin out to try 😅
My 08 benz c300 does that too but its the driver front door...should i check the actuator?
