In case the scanner tool cannot clear a code, like the ABS light, would this help as well, or would the code clear itself after replacing the hub assembly?
This guy could be making millions selling Flex Tape and Oxy Clean on tv but he’s on UA-cam helping us save money on car repair. They don’t all wear capes
I don't think I've ever left a comment on a UA-cam Video, but I just wanted to say Thank You! I have an eight passenger 2019 Expedition, but for some reason the rear power folding seats would not fold back up, so its only been a five passenger Expedition for the last five months. I tried, pulling fuses, checking wires/motors, and holding buttons down (as other videos had suggested) in an attempt to reset/re-program the seats, but nothing would get them to respond. I even considered taking it to the shop, to have a mechanic look at it. I hated that we paid thousand of dollars for an eight passenger vehicle, but still had to take two cars because we couldn't use three of the seats. After watching this video I disconnected the battery for 2 minutes, once re-connected, I walked around to the trunk, pressed the left power folding seat button, and it responded like it was supposed to, so I pressed the right button, and just like that I had three more seats. Thanks Scotty.
You are my father now. Thank you so much for all the knowledge you've freely given to me since my dad died. Your the best. You make things feel not so devastating, even if it really is. Just like he used to.. Thank you for all the time you put into helping complete strangers like me. Love always,, Your newest daughter, Jamie. Oxox.
Sorry for your lost. He is NOT your father. Please Try seeking some therapy. You can’t replace a deceased parent with a stranger from UA-cam. Sending my prayers your way. Take care.
@@ChrisTINA_Dioryou sound like you could use some kind of basic manners class.. why even start the sentence out with I'm sorry? When clearly your just being a judgmental and quite honestly rude individual? Best wishes always❤
Hey Scotty. I disconnected the battery on my 1975 Vega and I thought it didn`t help and then I pushed it off a cliff and it sure fell smooooooth. Thanks for the tip Scotty!
If Scotty had a UA-cam channel in the late ‘70s he’d be recommending Vegas as often as ‘90s Camrys today! Just insert some Ford tractor cylinder sleeves in those things and you’d have a $300 car that lasted forever. (Or until the late ‘90s anyway, when I gave it away and got a used Avalon)
Hi Scotty, You just saved me big $$Bucks. My 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee had a weird problem. My key fob quit working for door locks. So i changed its battery and tried to start. It ran for 2 seconds then shut off. I tried my spare key and same thing. Then it would not crank at all. Changed battery in spare key fob and no difference. I saw this video and walla..... now both keys work and start and run no problem. Also door locks now work perfect. I was faced with having it towed to the Jeep dealer and I'm sure they would have bent me over......without lube......LOL Thanks again and God bless you and helping other folks with your knowledge. Joel R.
Is that the “system too rich” codes? I’ve been getting those as well and I’ve noticed issues with my acceleration and rpm. But I’ve been thinking it could be computer related due to some other issues as well. Which brings me here haha
I had the engine light come on, then another light came on and then I had reduced power to the engine. But doing this fix literally did fix it. My car is running fine now. Like he said when your phone acts up resetting it literally fixes it. You don’t just go buy another phone. Some people think that this is just too good to be true but you should try it before buying a new computer for your car.
But there is 1 thing we need to remember In 20 years, When he is not "online" anymore, who will tell us the truth and give us advices, tips and tricks?
Replaced the battery on my 2005 Lexus and the radio and LH door locks didn't work. Checked all the fuses everybody else recommended then came across this post. Remembered Scotty from another post and followed his advice. I did the turn lights on drain not the wire. Then i found a later reset where he uses a resistor to connect the battery leads. Everything works fine now. Thanks, Scotty.
Thanks Scotty for your infomation ....the auto mechanics i contacted would not touch my car ..so i found you on UA-cam ...and car started and drove no problems..well done...and good luck
Scotty I've been a shade tree mechanic for ever and this is the oldest trick in the book. I'm going on 78 years old and appreciate how you teach others tricks of the trade.
Some of these Mechanics today don't know which part of the car is the Right side or Left side and a lot of people don't either.I've been doing Auto Body work for 45 years and the way to tell people is the Driver's side is the Left side of the Vehicle and the passenger side is the Right side of the Vehicle, all ways remember the way you set in a car when driving and the way your Body is sitting, your Left arm sticking out the left window. is the Left side of a Car.
Well those instructions would confuse Every one here in Australia, UK, etc. :) But yes it amazes me how many people don't know left from right. One trick My driving instructor told me he showed some of his students was to hold out their hands fingers closed thumb extended out and the hand that made the shape of an L was their Left side. :)
The only people that know this ancient secret are V-Dub owners. Also. I write this as I reset my RX350 idle, with my Mercedes in front of it. No car can stop me!!! Unless it's diesel but I got a guy for that!!!
Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! I had the battery replaced in my 2015 Mazda CX5 and then no A/C (on a 90 degree humid southern FL day!), black computer screen and turning signals going berserk! Took it back to the place that put my battery in and they didn't have a clue, said to take it to a mechanic! And then I found you!!! Your instructions were great and after 40 minutes, my A/C is back running ice cold and all screens and doo-dads are working wonderfully! You the man!
Excellent video, tried this on my son’s 2019 Ford Ecosport after it came back from repairs after an accident. Had been making some strange noises and idling roughly. Then got process control module warning and seemed to be losing power, would continue to emit a buzzing sound after being turned off. Tried this and it works perfectly with no more warning light. Your a lifesaver.
Thanks Scotty, I just did this to my 99 Acura and it went from almost dying (around 200 rpm) when throttling down to idle before stabilizing, to hitting a solid 500 or more rpm without dipping below that. Thanks again for the tip. I love the channel
Scotty! My man, I love you! My key fob stopped working out of the sudden after I replaced my ignition switch. I did this and it made it work! Thank you so much!!
THANK YOU!!! Scotty, you just saved me $$$ and stress. Last time I drove my Hyundai Santa Fe down the mountain, I got stuck behind a mouth-breathing numb-nuts going 25 MPH (speed limit is 55). I had to ride the brakes to keep from crawling up his tailpipe. Suddenly, the transmission over-corrected and dropped into the lowest gear and the check engine light came on. I drove it to Autozone where the guy used the code reader to determine that it was a transmission problem. FML! Transmission nightmare! I limped back home and cried, until I saw this video. Worth a try! I'll be damned, it WORKED! Light is off, car's running smoothly, and I used my cheap code reader to clear any codes. Thanks for recommending that scan tool, BTW. Best $25 I've ever spent. I love you, man!
Hi! Do you know if it was giving you a p0500 speed sensor code? Because that's similar to what happened with my car. Trying to find as much advice before even daring to go near the transmission
You saved me so much money, I did this with my 06 Colorado. The anti theft wouldn’t let my truck start. I was gonna cut the wire with the blue strip to try and bypass it, I said hmm let’s see what Scotty says. I’ve been driving it every since. Scotty, you are a beast. Thank you so much for your wisdom. And go stros!
Thanks Scotty for all the information and help you give us in your videos. You are the kind of mechanic that other mechanics should strive to be,honest, informative and knowledgeable in all areas of auto repair, not a crooked one looking to make money and make the problem worse, like government officials
This seems to have worked on my beloved and hated 2004 PT Cruiser....my check engine light kept coming on even after I used the OBD2 diagnostic tool...my idle was all over the place at increments of 20km/h...my car was teaching me how to drive it! Thank you so much for this! It has only been a day but a single day without this nightmare of fussiness has added a year to my life expectancy.
I have noticed all of the hiccups Scotty mentioned as your car is being reconditioned to your driving style pop up exactly as described. Day 3 ~ The sputters or idling / acceleration issues are decreasing in frequency and the handling / driving is gradually improving day by day.
I have warning lights turned on for Automatic headlamps, Vehicle Stability, Check engine and power steering. I applied this technique, worked for me. Thanks Scotty!
I was about to pay $650 for a new alternator, because I brought a new battery for my 2010 rav4. And when I put it in, it still wouldn’t start and all the dash warning lights stayed on. Called the mechanic and they said probably my alternator. Watched this video, did what Scott advised and the car crunk right up! This guy is a gift!!!!
@@Itsme-ni9jk Absolutely! That’s why I always check to see if it’s something I can do myself. This was an easy fix, and alternator is fine. I’m sure they would have replaced it anyways instead of telling me it’s fine.
Scotty has saved me >$3k in around 2 months. I got 2 very reasonably priced tools he recommended and they were quite helpful. I also figured out quickly a local mechanic either didn't know what he was doing or was dishonest. I like Scotty because he gives me things to think about and check that I would have missed.
He made a newer video about a year ago, recommending you don't touch the cables together because it could send a surge through to the computer modules and fry them. I hope noones cars got fried from this video.
Dear Scotty, thanks a ton for this tip. I have a 2010 honda accord 2.4 ivtec AT and it started showing some issues recently like dark smoke, acceleration lag, rough idling, jerky gear shifts and sometimes it shuts down at signals. I suspected the spark plug and ordered NGK iridium plugs which is in transit. I tried what you said and the car is absolutely fine now, smooth, calm and silent. And when i change the plugs, it is going to be better. Much love from India.
@@taylorkeyes8623 No, it didn't harm any electricals. For being extra safe, i removed the battery entirely out from the car and then connected the +ve and -ve terminals of the car. Kept it overnight. Note: Please do make sure to disconnect the power capacitor if you have an after market sub woofer or something like that. Stock music system doesn't have such things.
Scotty, I recently had a weird issue with a 2004 Chevy 2500 HD. It would start and die, the guages wouldn't work, no power windows. Oddly enough, lights climate fan and radio all worked. So I tried this, and it started and everything works again. Thanks for your videos, I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
Hey Scotty I had and engine light come on and when I checked the code it said it was a defective knock sensor. The job to replace it is around 2500.00. I took your advice and flushed and changed the coolant system since you said old coolant and produce an electrical charge and throw off sensors. Guess what...it worked!!! There hasn't been any warning lights for over two months. It even passed inspection. Thx for the great advice!
@dallastxracing I know that, but old coolant can produce and electrical charge which can effect the knock sensor. After I cleared the code the light never came back on...that's all I know
I've been working on cars for pretty much most of my life but you teach me more in 30 minutes about the new cars than i could possibly ever read about im impressed
Thank you!!! I replaced my battery yesterday and when I restarted the car, my compressor wouldn’t turn on and my main screen was dim. I was all ready to take it to the mechanic this morning after I checked all of the fuses and they were good. After a ton of searching, I found this video. It worked! Thank you for saving me a trip to the mechanic!
I just did this to a 2013 Scion tC with a 2.5 liter and let me tell you this is the key to no more vibration or minor idling problems. Was gonna clean the MAF sensor, but figured I'd try the free stuff first and it worked like a charm!! Thank Scotty!!
Hey Scotty. Just want to give you a great big thumbs up. I'm an amateur tinkerer of everthing and lately our 1 and only family car came up with the dreaded P300 code via the mechanic and i had to to check every system. Long story short, thanks to your videos the car is running better than ever. The last thing i couldn't wrap my noodle around was that the car was running perfectly but the engine light was still on. I don't own a scanning tool and had to do the whole fault finding through the elimination process and This video was the last nail in the coffin to reset the computer and put our little 2009 1.6 L TK Holden Barina back in working condition with no detectable faults. We live on the necessities and you have saved us a fortune. God bless you Scotty, forever grateful, and will be seeking your sound advice on our car maintenance for any other future concerns
Hi so did this reset and removed the check engine light i did a stupid thing thinking ill wash the motor ended up putting the check engine light on anf now my cruise control doesnt set it turns on but wont set im hoping its nothing serious or just a fuse. The car runs normal but yea i screwed up i think
Thank you for this very easy-to-follow video. The trick really works. My car wouldn't start yesterday (starter cranked, engine did not), so I did this and it started. One mistake I made was after doing this was, when the engine started but stalled immediately, I tried to use the accelerator pedal, like we did with old model cars. It flooded the engine, so I had to let it sit over night. That tip about the running the air conditioner was also useful. My idle RPMs went up a lot once I turned that on. Also, if you use your lights to drain the electricity from the system, be sure to turn them off before you reconnect your battery. Nothing bad happens, it is just something to remember.
Thanks to your throttle body cleaning video and MAF sensor video you posted a little while ago and now this, my Toyota Tundra runs a lot smoother and believe it or not my MPG has gone up by a couple of MPGs
Scotty! This trick worked like a charm!! After I replaced the motor intake filter out of a Chevy Cruze 2018, the check engine came on, few codes were read at (advanced auto parts) After I took the car home I tried your trick and the light went off!!!! Awesome content all the time! Scotty the grandpa I wish I had🤙🏻🤙🏻 Thanks a lot
Thanks Scotty! Mechanics kept telling me my subaru had blown headgaskets and wants hundredd to fix the car. Thank to your videos i can fix it myself. I have the battery unplugged now, cheers!
👍👍👍Scotty, thanks so much! Replaced my alternator and battery on my 2013 CRV. Soon after the battery light and AWD lights came on. Too, the remote start was malfunctioning. Saw your video, gave it a try and the lights are now off and the remote works perfectly. Thanks!
In other words it's good to reset your computer in the hot summer heat and that way your car computer will learn faster from stand still to fuel consumption e.t.c to tire pressure, tire mileage to fuel consumption to it's overall engine like transmission performances.
It's refreshing for you to do a video and you not call people stupid. People come to your channel for help, not to be called or be made to feel stupid. Decent information in this one. I've been a mechanic for nearly 40 years myself. I also have expensive scanners, electronic equipment, 2 lifts, Snap On, Mac tools and boxes along with other less expensive tools too. Most people don't need the tools that we do and can get by with cheaper stuff or they can just pay us to provide honest, professional work. Helping people and earning money in the process is the way it should be. I've worked for the military, DOD civilian, dealerships and of course myself. Oh, I'm signed in under my wife's account today, but she's surprisingly knowledgeable herself.
I changed my battery and I noticed my car idled high initially. And I noticed the new battery cranked my car over much faster with a nicer sound. Great tip Scotty.
Wow thank you. I thought it was just going to literally be disconnect the negative and reconnect. I never thought about connecting the negative to positive and turning headlights on to truly drain that extra power left and truly reset the entire system. So simple yet so effective.
You Sir have just saved me from weighing my car in , I've had the AA out twice and a mechanic with a scan tool who said I needed a new ECU . Car been parked up for a week, watched this video and it's back up and running again 👌👍😎 ...... Definitely got a like on this video and I'm already subbed to you, Cant thank you enough for doing these amazing videos for us all.......👊
Fascinating my garage said they'd replaced a wire and administered wd 40 spray. I can't see any new wires. My radio keeps going off and coming on and in like a replay mode.
I have a Cadillac CTS. The other day I had to buy a new battery for it because the old one had finally lived its life out. For the first couple days after the new battery Rosanne, the one touch window controllers weren’t working. He had to hold the button to get the window all the way down or all the way up. But after a couple of days, the one touch lowering, and raising of the windows, started working again own its own.
Lol the ABS light came on for a reason. You've probably got a speed sensor fault in whatever will it maybe so when you turn the car thinks that wheel is turning slower or faster and it puts an ABS light on... now what you've done is you've cleared any sort of symptoms so it can't be diagnosed lol lol I hope your brakes fail
Thank you Scotty! My neighbor passed and his wife wanted me to take his beloved 2002 PT Cruiser being as both grandkids were coming of age to drive. Well the car had sat undriven for 3 years. I had to replace the motor mounts, struts, timing belt kit, radiator, fan , thermostat and sensor and it clearly is misfiring despite the records showing the spark plugs, coil only had 3000 miles on them. Suddenly it occured to me the family had put a new battery in it to get it out of the garage. Time for a computer reset! Thank you!
This was unbelievable. I’m in the UK and less than 1hr ago I was in the AA Van looking at a 6 week lead time and now after getting home and trying this…. I’m back on the road. This method genuinely works 👏🏻
The computer more for the sensors then anything all the sensors report to the computer and the computer decides how much fuel the engine needs based on the sensors. The computer also gives you Tac and Speed information and trouble codes but really everything thing else is done by you the driver. That’s a basic car with a computer other cars oh boy good luck
Can't thank you enough, so glad I found this video. My truck was stuck in 4WD low and couldn't get it back to 2WD HI. Did exactly as you said and was able to get it back to 2WD! 🙌
Lift the negative side first. That way if you accidentally touch the wrench to the body it won't short the battery and cause a big spark. Also, replace the negative site last.
Hey scotty, great video, I learn to do this trick on my 2000 acura tl when i went for an etest, it always had evap codes, so when I did this it always passed etest
I didn’t have his scan tool. But on my 40th anniversary corvette the air conditioner wouldn’t blow cold. The A/c had been serviced twice within last two years. The first time the condenser need R134 coolant, and the compressor was locked out. The second time the condenser was locked out again and needed codes cleared. While the car was off I disconnected the black wire from the battery and turned on the head lights and waited a few minutes. Then after bleeding the battery juice I turned the headlights off, and reconnected the battery and started the car and air conditioner. It started blowing cold then hot, then I turned the cold back on by pressing the buttons in a/c. This works and it saved me 300 dollars. Thank you!
Another Great video ! Ford in Utah wanted 800.00 to do the same thing but of coarse like Scotty always says they are not going to tell you what they do . in my case they told me they had to pull my dash apart. I did you technique it worked ! Thanks Scotty !!!
Thanks for the video Scotty. I have a 2013 Ford Escape that when you turned on the right turn signal it would flash fast like there was a bad bulb. All the bulbs were good so I did this with the battery and it worked. Thank you again Scotty.
thank you so much! this help reset some weird check engine light on my car. I disconnected the battery cable and discharged it using my jumper cable and the check engine light have not come back. More people should know this simple step for resetting check engine lights!
Lol!! ya soon that's what cars will be like. Hal 9000. I miss the good ole days, no computers in your car, and you could see, get to, and fix everything on your car yourself.
Scotty, you are doing great work here sir. I just recently bought a car after 8 years of riding a motorcycle as my only mode of transportation. And I'm learning so much from you! Thank you!
Thanks for the great tip, Scotty! My four-wheel drive suddenly stopped working, so I did the battery disconnect thing, followed all the steps just like you described, and now my four-wheel-drive is back! Thanks again!👍
There's another part of this reset that Scotty forgot to mention. And that is when to do it. Do it at 11:58 in the morning. Reconnect the battery cable at exactly 12:00 noon. Now you don't have to reset the time on any of the electronics.
Don't forget that if you have an anti-theft system in the car, the ignition key must be in the ignition when you reconnect the battery to pair the chip in the ignition lock and the chip in the key to the ECM.
This one video alone answered all of my questions...I bought an old project car and the windows were freaking out, dashboard lit like Christmas, but it ran fine. Once you mentioned all the same things connected to the electrical system...smh, thank you!
Honestly. Scotty has such a loyal fan base that he could sell us garbage bags for a fortune. But he’s here teaching us how to get garbage bags for free. Not all hero’s wear capes. Some wear sun glasses
This worked for me. Hyundai Equus. Great car. But recently the battery died and i used the Anker Roav jump box(recommend it $55 on sale at bestbuy in Dec). After the jump the instrument panel didn't power up and the AC wouldn't cool. I could drive and i got warnings on radio screen not to usr while car was off...but i was driving. Lol Obviously not everything was getting power/syncd. So i read up on it and disconnecting the batter seems to reboot the ecu. So i unhooked the negative then the positive and kept them apart. Waited 20 min, tested the horn(to drain Residual power, no noise) then hooked the battery back up. Positive terminal first, the negative terminal last. Tightened it up. Got in the car with smart key in pocket and started up the car. The dash needles lit up, faint at first almost like it was thinking then the screen in the dash came alive just like normal and no more warning signs. Everything is working as it should. Sorry if too long, but some one out there needs this much detail.
TY Scotty. Having major issues with my 1999 ford ranger xlt 2.5 l. Bad GEM mod., low idle, dead battery etc. trying tomorrow before i try a new alternator. even if it doesn't work and i have other issues, i feel this is one of your best videos. Good tips and easy to understand. You are a true friend to all who own cars. I hope you are enjoying Tennessee. Thank You.
Have a 2015 Ram Tradesman and it set for a while and the batteries were low, I charged batteries and even bought new batteries, but still nothing. No dash lights, door dings or anything. Did what this guys says and put the battery cables together and it fixed it. Have never heard of this before.
Oh Scotty, I’ve been impressed with you and your advice up till now. An Autozone battery? Yikes! Pulling battery power to “fix” your car? Nope, the problem was there before you reset the computer memory, and will be there after too. Only glitches should be addressed this way. Check warning lights should not.
Have had an ABS light problem that won't go away even after it being fixed. Was told $75-100 and it being cycled should fix it. That's on top of all the work done. Will give this a try. Should not need to spend even more after the fix was done and it should of gone out on it's own. So, yes, sometimes this should be done even for a warning light. Computers mess up and get stuck, too. :)
SCOTTY KILMER THANK YOU FOR HELP ME NOT TO GO TO THE DEALERSHIP MY 2021 HIGHLANDER WAS SHOWING (SECONDARY COLLISION BRAKE SISTEM MALFUNCTION) I JUST DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY AND AFTER 10 MINUTES PUT IT BACK ON ALL IS WORKING PERFECTLY SO FAR.
I had the code p0765 on my 2008 hyundai sonata after replacing engine mount, of course I disconnected the pcm and battery to access. The code tells me there's a problem with the transmission solenoid valve. I reset the pcm and the car is better than before. Thanks for the secret, Scotty. Really helpful
Beau Lol pretty much how I drive the rpms don’t see above 2K only couple times if I’m turning onto a highway and gotta speed up quick. But there’s no need to really be revving higher then 2K rpms you are just going to ware out the engine quicker and I don’t care if it allows you too why do it Most your driving can be done under 2K rpms
This is mostly not true unless you own a diesel. Gasoline engines are better to be driven when cruising, at 2000rpm and revved to 2500-3500 while accelerating. This helps to reduce coal deposit and the higher oil pressure reduces oil sludge. I live in Europe so I'm speaking from a manual transmission point of view. I don't really understand when I drive a pure new car with automatic (DSG) transmission, and it keeps the rpm while cruising at 1200-1300rpm. This, combinated with the 30-40000km oil change interval (Volkswagen Group) can cause the engine to break after 200K kilometers.
Not always a good idea to touch the battery wires together. Some modern vehicles have telematics control units that have internal batteries (in case of battery disconnection during a theft). These batteries are normally rechargeable and charged from the main battery. Touching the cables together can blow that module 😌

I was faced with having it towed to the Jeep dealer and I'm sure they would have bent me over......without lube......LOL
Thanks again and God bless you and helping other folks with your knowledge. Joel R.
This worked! My car was cutting off when I gave it gas. Getting P0011, 12 codes. Running fine now. Thank you Scotty!

But yes it amazes me how many people don't know left from right.

Took it back to the place that put my battery in and they didn't have a clue, said to take it to a mechanic! And then I found you!!! Your instructions were great and after 40 minutes, my A/C is back running ice cold and all screens and doo-dads are working wonderfully! You the man!
This just saved me hundreds! The proximity reader stopped recognizing the FOB, tried this, and so far, it's working again.
It will do it again. What he says fixes nothing

Helping people and earning money in the process is the way it should be. I've worked for the military, DOD civilian, dealerships and of course myself. Oh, I'm signed in under my wife's account today, but she's surprisingly knowledgeable herself.

Lol
Obviously not everything was getting power/syncd.
REV UP YOUR COST CUTTING REPAIR HACKS!!!! THANKS FOR HELPING US OUT!! BEST UA-camR OUT THERE!
Scotty you are an awesome guy. I have learned lots from you in such a short time. Thank you very much!!
Thank You.
"With my 5,000 dollar scan tool" Scotty really flexing on us
I heard that the scan tool is around 800$ a month just to keep them updated lol
with a $5000 scan tool, you couldve went to a professional about ten times.
Well he says it so you know how much you'd have to pay to DIY some cars lol
Well, that's for pros who like Scotty, do the fancy cars.
Scotty: That's another reason not to buy those stupid cars in the first place.
@@equisequis.55 Haha er, that's why those people who own those stupid cars go to a professional like Scotty! Difference is, he'll fix it ONCE!
just did this on my 2004 hummer h2 and picked up 9 miles more per gallon! thank you scotty, regards from west palm beach
Thanks for all the tips. I just reset the computer and last week I changed my belts and just the belt tensioner and everything is going smooth.
When working with a battery my motto is "negative first (when disconnecting) , negative last" (when reconnecting).
always....
How many 'phuuk-upps' did you make before you 'discovered' that,Ferdinand?
Have a 2015 Ram Tradesman and it set for a while and the batteries were low, I charged batteries and even bought new batteries, but still nothing. No dash lights, door dings or anything. Did what this guys says and put the battery cables together and it fixed it. Have never heard of this before.
That sounds a lot like resetting your phone to the factory default settings. You got to reload all your apps, but it works better than you remembered.
Rev up your engines! To 2,000 rpm
@@ryans413 my gears in the prelude are short so I'm at 3,500 rpm going 65 mph in 5th gear lol wish there was a sixth gear.
Ryan Scherbluk depends on your gears. My Sentra you literally can't or you'll get hit.
Beau just like my Celica 5spd, but the Celica 6 spd is worse, pushing 4k
It worked for me as a charm on my scion xb... No more crazy codes and phony mechanics!.. Thank you Scotty!!!!
love this guy. he always brings a smile to my face.
very positive vibe
Another good one Scotty, thanks for the knowledge.
I had problems with my Peugeot 206cc and after I did the things in this video it’s been fixed! Thanks a lot!🙏
Not always a good idea to touch the battery wires together. Some modern vehicles have telematics control units that have internal batteries (in case of battery disconnection during a theft). These batteries are normally rechargeable and charged from the main battery. Touching the cables together can blow that module 😌
