hey awesome video, i only have one question regarding obs, how do i go from corner on the camera to full screen like how youtubers quickly flick from full screen to camera in the corner during gameplays
You can either do this Live in OBS, or Post in Premiere Pro. ** Live in OBS (adjusting it whilst streaming or recording): 1) In OBS, under 'Sources', create a new 'Video Capture Device' (duplicating your existing capture). Click 'Add Existing', select your webcam, and click 'OK'. 2) For the corner webcam, click on the 1st Video Capture, drag and adjust the size (hold Alt whilst adjusting to crop) 3) Click on the 2nd Video Capture and adjust to full screen. 4) Make sure the 2nd Video Capture is at the top of the 'Sources' panel (underneath any overlays if you have them) 5) Go to 'Settings', and select 'Hotkeys'. Under the lower 'Show Video Capture Device', select the hotkey you want to use (e.g. ALT + 1). Then select a hotkey for the lower 'Hide Video Capture Device' (e.g. ALT + 2). 6) You can now use hotkeys to switch between full screen and corner view 😀 ** With Premiere Pro (editing it afterwards): 1) Go to OBS and select 'Settings'. In the 'Video' tab, set the resolutions to double your width. Keep height the same. So for 1920x1080 it would be 3840x1080. Set both resolutions the same. 2) In OBS, arrange your webcam on the left, and your game/display capture on the right. They should fit together perfectly without gaps. 3) Do a test recording in OBS to make sure it's working correctly. 4) In Premiere Pro, import your OBS footage. 5) At the top, go to 'Sequence' and 'Sequence Settings'. Set to 1920x1080 (or resolution you're using). 6) Duplicate your OBS video footage twice (hold Alt and drag the video up). Leave the audio part. So now you have 3 video tracks. 7) Select the top video track and under 'Motion', adjust the 'Position' to 0.0 and 540.0 8) For the corner-webcam, select the middle video track and under 'Motion', adjust the Position and Scale so it's in the corner. To see better, you can click the 'eye' to hide the other video tracks. 9) In the 'Effects' panel, select 'Video Effects', 'Transform' then 'Crop' - crop the video to size. Square works well. 10) Select the bottom video track and under 'Motion', adjust the 'Position' to 1920.0 and 540.0 11) Select all video tracks, right click and select 'Unlink'. You can now click the edges and drag and adjust whenever you need full screen webcam or corner webcam 😀 With both methods, you can use a border overlay on top of your corner-webcam. Just add this as another layer and adjust the motion position and size. Hope this helps! I'll do a video tutorial soon which may be easier to follow 😀
1) In Premiere Pro, in your Preview panel, there's two drop-down boxes. Check that 'Fit' Zoom Level and 'Full' Preview Resolution are selected. If this makes it slow, then 1/2 should be fine. 1/4 or lower may look blurry. The preview resolution won't affect the export quality. 2) Go to your video folder, right click the file and select 'Properties'. 3) Select the 'Details' tab. 3) Check the frame width and height. For 1080P HD the resolution should be 1920 x 1080. For 4K UHD, 3840 x 2160. If the resolution isn't right: 4) Go to OBS and select 'Settings'. In the 'Video' tab, check the resolutions - these should be the same. Change to the correct resolution for HD or 4K (1920x1080 or 3840x2160) if it's something weird. 5) Go to OBS and select 'Settings'. In the 'Output' tab, unselect 'Rescale Output'. If everything is correct, but Premiere Pro is still blurry: 6) Go to your Premiere Pro project. At the top, go to 'Sequence', then 'Sequence Settings'. Check the 'Frame Size' is the correct resolution. 7) When you export in Premiere Pro, select 'H264' or 'HVEC (H.265)'. There's a few presets you can use - select the one that matches you resolution. Under 'Basic Video Settings', check the Height and Width is correct. Hope this helps! 😀
