Thursday June 6, 2024 Glen Cannon, Brian, and I continue our idle talk around good food at Dinglewood Pharmacy on Wynnton Road in Columbus, Georgia. It has been a very enjoyable visit with Glen.
I really enjoyed y'alls coversation. Nothing better to sit with friends in a comfy place, eat good food and enjoy each other. Such a pleasure to watch. Wish I lived close by to sit a jaw a while. Dinglewood Scrambledog sign, cool! ❣️❣️👍👍
0:00 This was a wonderful video! I came straight from Stacey and Brian taste-testing stale hot chips to here. What a nice way to spend my evening. I don't know yet how many of my old family photos were lost in our house fire in May 2023, but as soon as we are back in our house and I have both a functioning office space and a functioning sewing room, I will be full-speed-ahead in repairing the remaining quilts and digitizing whatever photos were saved. Thank you again for the entertaining evening. 😊 P.S. Glen.. I grew up in Longview/Kelso Washington. Thank you for the shout-out re Mt St Helens.😊
Walter, I really enjoyed watching this because it helps me to remember what we talked about. I'm glad Brian was able to join us. Hope to do it again soon.
what a great conversation! you are close to my age, do you control all of your images? like the ones when you were a commercial photographer? 600 rolls! that is a huge amount of images! it is so nice looking at your past, present , they are great part of your history!
@@WalterMallardPhotography that is overwhelming! now I understand your issues with trying to find images! you have caught so much in your life with your camera, so many pieces of the past, people that are gone now. places that are gone or changed! I remember two guys, twin fair ,grants, all the stores locally they are gone. restaurants that have come and gone! what was my present, is now my past! now is someone else's present . to become their memories of their youth. the evolution of time!
Okay, so Walter was 29 in 1990. I turned 27 that year. I only have 515 subscribers. But I'm so terrible with uploading. I just saw that I haven't uploaded in 2 years. I went on an uploading binge after not having done it in a long time, and now it's been a long time again! I need to upload some more. I have probably a few thousand 4" X 6" prints that need to be scanned, from all the pictures I took before 2007 when I went digital. But I might have 150k digital photos that most people have never seen. I photograph old houses, churches, cemeteries, and all kinds of nature and scenery. Also other buildings that catch my eye, plus signs and billboards that catch my eye, and plenty of other stuff. I also like to do artistic stuff with shadows and reflections. I also photograph old cars as I see them (and in car shows), also trains, and sometimes buses and trucks. Anyway, that was fun. Thanks.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yes. All of the photographs I shot are mine. And yes, that 600 rolls was a lot, but is is only a fraction of what I have.
