wish I had videos or voice recordings of my family..I have one sib who passed away a few yrs ago and I have a voice recording of him..I play so that I will never forget. This was great Mr Walter!!!!
Thank you. I am so thankful that I made these recordings. We surely did not expect to lose Little George when we did, so I am thankful that we have him growing up on tape.
I love hearing people conversing and not talking for recording. I recorded my dad and myself talking one time. The way it sounded was totally different that what I had in my head. He grew up in the woods of north east Oklahoma. I learned to speak in Greenwood Mississippi. Our conversations are low and slow with a lot of country boy.
Yes. I think that is wonderful. And that is how I recorded us for so many years. The recorders were there, and we just carried on in normal conversation, capturing those moments in time. I am so thankful for them.
When you said "It's going to be 10 o'clock soon" I looked at my clock and it said 10:02..That was fun. You're lucky to have Ken. My dad had 12 sets of aunts and uncles, though 2 of his uncles drowned 10 years before he was born. He also had tons of cousins. I only had one aunt and uncle and 3 cousins, and they always lived far away. These tapes are priceless.
Ha! Ha! Ha! That's hilarious! Wow! That was quite the collection! I am so sorry for that terrible loss! It's like Junior, Ken's older brother whom he never knew; Mom's middle brother. We are so thankful for those tapes. I want to find some really fun ones.
I so enjoy your videos of Ken. Praying he's still doing good. I also enjoy watching Brian fixing up his new old house. It's going to be beautiful.
I am so thankful! Yes. Ken is doing well, of which also I am so thankful. Yes, Brian has big plans for the house.
